Reviews for La Residence Suite Hotel
Review 1:This is an older facility, and it's by no means a fancy place. However, it IS very clean, comfortable, quiet, well maintained, and has a very friendly and accommodating staff! Breakfast is very simple...truly continental. Think yogurt, some pastries, cereal, etc...no waffles or omelette bar! Still, if you're not looking for ritzy, this is a great bargain in Bellevue!
Review 2:The rooms are large and comfortable, perfect for a short or long-term stay. The beds offer excellent comfort and the towels are high quality. It's a sweet little boutique hotel and an outstanding value.
Review 3:Older place but still clean! Road noise but not due to hotel just ricers and their fart cans gunning it up the street. More cheese bagels!
Review 4:Great location, so easy to walk to Bellevue square and the park! Awesome not having to drive around Bellevue Decent breakfast got my kids full.
Review 5:The facility is looking very run down and worn. Musty smell in common areas. Updating is needed to make it a wonderful place to stay for extended period. Kitchen and separate bedroom is great for extended stay, too. Limited continental breakfast with no table seating in lobby.
Review 6:The staff was friendly although very limited, especially in the evening. Room is an actual one bedroom suite with separate living room, dining area and full kitchen. Plenty of space to entertain another couple. Large walk-in closet. Bed was very comfortable.
Review 7:Electrical outlets are "worn out" and do not hold plugs in reliably. Public transit options to Seattle weren't very frequent or easy to access.
Review 8:Rooms are very spacious and well-equipped. I appreciated having the option of a kitchen although I didn't use it much this trip. Also liked the fresh fruit supplied every morning at the breakfast buffet.
Review 9:Aging infrastructure can use niceties like convenient places to plug in computer devices. Kitchen equipment minimal. Location faces an ugly parking structure for a large shopping mall. Residential area means nearest shops and food sources several blocks away, only an issue if it's raining.
Review 10:Spacious apartment and pleasant staff.
Review 11:While unususlly comfortable, the breakfast area is quite small. Best to arrive early or late or -- better yet: take food back to the spaceous dinning area in your room
Review 12:The hotel smelled like bleach all over- corridors, elevator, room - all over. It seemed as if the hotel is maintained poorly as the carpets were dirty and dusty. The room it self is designed very old fashioned - we had problem finding some of the light switches, there were holes in the walls that weren't sealed ...
Review 13:The guy at the reception was nice and helpful
Review 14:The furniture is outdated and the motel feels very old. The floor was very smelly although the room was ok. Breakfast was very sparse (cereal, pop-tarts and energy bars with an occassional fruit), with no room to sit and eat.
Review 15:Located right across Bellevue Square's parking lot. Have a very close by super market. There's a full kitchen in the unit.
Review 16:rooms need to be updated a little. Need to be able to see the tv from the bedroom. Need to feel the air conditioner in the bedroom more.
Review 17:the full kitchen was great. Location is great!
Review 18:The only thing that I can knock is the breakfast. It is precisely continental in exactly as you would expect. They mention there are breakfast sandwiches on a sign but they didn't have them when I checked the first time. The 2nd time I checked, it seems as if I got lucky with the very last one. There wasn't any ketchup/Tabasco for it, heavy. Also, the Wi-Fi was spotty but that's almost to be expected. Finally, this location is right next to the road and even on the 4th floor I was still woken by cars in the morning. Earplugs took care of that problem.
Review 19:This location is exactly as advertised and expected. The property does show some agree but I think it adds to it. Extremely happy with its amenities and location. The room itself is incredible and is very much like a home to its own. I got here when it was hot in the area and the air conditioning has been champ. Staff is professional and friendly (and yes, easy on the eyes -- something I find important in the service industry). I will be staying here again if I can help it.
Review 20:Some of the common areas could use an update.
Review 21:The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were more like an apartment than a room. It's an older building and the in-room updates were pretty good. Plenty of free parking. Walking distance to Bellevue Town Center.
Review 22:The staff should b more familiar with all surrounding facilities and should know about places to go, to help visitors be more comfortable. Internet is an important problem.
Review 23:clean... Quiet. I love these in any place I wanna live.
Review 24:The king sized bed was full of plush pillows and included with the regular single room price. The guy at the front desk was very patient and understanding.
Review 25:The bed is beyond heavenly. It's spacious and has all the comforts of a small apartment. The location is great for safe and interesting city walking.
Review 26:Shabby and reminds me the 60s or 70s. Probably wasn't remodeled since then...
Review 27:1. Location - close to everything in Bellevue city centre 2. Free WiFi and decent continental breakfast included 3. Very clean 4. Suites are good for business travelers, you can cook or at least microwave your own meals and work normally while smb. else sleeps.
Review 28:The lockbox for people who arrive out of hours is in shadow so I couldn't see the numbers to enter the code!
Review 29:Central location. Extremely helpful staff.
Review 30:we like the there was extra towels and pillows as requested in the room when we arrived. Breakfast was great
Review 31:reception didnt open once at the time it was supposed to. the guy was 40mins late.
Review 32:Location, room size, price
Review 33:AC in the Family Room but not in the Bedroom. Kids were freezing, Parents were sweltering.
Review 34:Great value. Huge room.
Review 35:The cleanliness
Review 36:administrative problem as to whether we were checked in or not.
Review 37:Quiet and peaceful
Review 38:Old, very outdated building and decor
Review 39:Location was great
Review 40:WIFI really needs to be improved
Review 41:Breakfast without fried eggs, sausages or rissoles. Sometimes wifi internet didn't work. Ethernet didn't work too.
Review 42:Bad small.
Review 43:The bed was comfortable.
Review 44:no complains
Review 45:kitchen had all we needed no need to bring pans or any utensils. The front desk and housekeeping employees were very nice and helpful.
Review 46:The room still have not cleaned up when we get into after 4:30. The breakfast is extremely simple.
Review 47:Wifi is awesome
Review 48:Weather!!!
Review 49:Location
Review 50:slightly dated accommodations.
Review 51:excellent value with a prime location.
Review 52:WiFi was not stable however they were fixing it. So, I expect it was abnormal situation.
Review 53:Suite facility is great.
Review 54:wi-fi did not work, plain breakfast
Review 55:Nice, quiet, big rooms, near to center and lake, helpful staff
Review 56:I hate to say anything could be improved because this hotel exceeded myexpectation by miles. However, for those of you who feel a tv in yourbedroom is important; some of their apartment suites don’t have TV’s inthe Bedroom. They do have a really nice TV’s in the living/diningarea of the suite though.
Review 57:I was absolutely amazed at the value you receive at this hotel. Itslocation simply couldn’t be beat! It included all the amenities weneeded and with a full kitchen more than we could have dreamed. Not tomention you’re not staying in a typical hotel room, but rather dependingon your selection, a one or two bedroom apartment located in the heartof Bellevue! From here on out my husband and I will stay here wheneverwe return to Bellevue or the Seattle area!
Review 58:Very hard to get on the internet except during the very early morning and late evening. Often did better on the two public sites
Review 59:Everything but the internet
Review 60:The sofa in the living room was extremely uncomfortable. The dining room table was very nice but it had a lot of water rings. Maybe having some coasters? We used folded paper towels under our cups and glasses.
Review 61:The room and the amenities were great. Great value for the price. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the little kitchen with dishes and silverware and pots and pans. It even had a dishwasher!
Review 62:the place is old and run down. The balcony would have been nice if it had been cleaned. the kitchen equipment needs attention. It is minimal and very old. the pots are disgusting. For your info…: teflon pots with scratches are poisonous.
Review 63:The location, the layout of the suit,
Review 64:Nothing.
Review 65:Friendly and efficient staff. Good location for our purposes (near friend's house). Suite layout and kitchen availability. Economical price.
Review 66:Did not like the fact that it was promoted as "breakfast included" when all they had was a poor choice of packaged muffin and such. Maybe change the wording to continential breakfast.
Review 67:The staff was very helpful with maps to help us find our way. Rooms were clean and welcoming.
Review 68:It appears there is no housekeeping on Saturday which isn't a big deal but it might have been nice to know that.
Review 69:I left my phone in my room and the front desk person, Linda, was nice enough to go check just to verify that I had left it there as I thought I had lost it.
Review 70:Able to move around a bit in a suite with large windows opening out from living room and bedroom Very easy parking Able to print boarding pass out quickly at business centre
Review 71:During our stay in August, it was very warm and a/c in living room did not adequately cool the bedroom. For seniors, lighting not bright enough for reading. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
Review 72:Location. Across from Bellevue Square. Near Downtown park and main downtown area. Older but nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Appreciate having one separate bedroom and full kitchen. Washer/dryer very convenient. Good continental breakfast daily. Oh yes, free ample parking.
Review 73:The tv in our room was old and needs a degausing to clear up the oddcolor spots.
Review 74:This is a complete suite at half the price of any others in the area andhas a complimentary breakfast.
Review 75:Kitchen was a little out dated but I didn't use it much so this wasn't a problem.
Review 76:Location excellent, better than a 'normal' hotel as I had a lounge and kitchen as well as the usual bedroom and bathroom.
Review 77:Location, size of room, value, comfort of beds.
Review 78:Shower head was in pretty bad shape.
Review 79:Mostly in good repair even though dated. Comfortable bed.
Review 80:Loved the suite setting and extra room. It was comfy and quiet. The location was a big plus.
Review 81:La Residence is a very quiet small hotel. The two room suite had everything I could ever need while traveling. This lodging is a well kept secret!
Review 82:The suite is very good and worth the cost. very close to the mall, just walking distance. So no parking issues. Fridge and dishwasher are good
Review 83:Liked everything.
Review 84:It was clean, comfortable, and a lot of room
Review 85:My suite at the back of the hotel, away from the street, was very quiet: I could open the windows at night and not hear any traffic noise at all.
Review 86:Spacious Accommodations Clean and Quiet Friendly Staff Comfortable Bed Great Location Reasonably Priced
Review 87:Toilet was not clean when we first arrived.
Review 88:Friendly staff, close to many restaurants and shopping, free parking and WiFi.
