Reviews for Coast Bellevue Hotel

Review 1:Their system was down and at time of check out I was unable to finalize my payment.

Review 2:The breakfast was amazing! It was always so good. Hotel kitchen food was delicious.

Review 3:I asked for a pick up service from the airport, and I was told the price was 50 dollars. When I arrived at the hotel, the car service told me that it was 60 dollars because the driver came into the airport. The information was wrong, and I was disappointed that I was misled. Internet was wireless but slow. Breakfast opens later on weekends, so if you have an early flight out forget breakfast (even though it's included in the price).

Review 4:location was central for the business that I was wanting to commence. good breakfast

Review 5:Wifi was very spotty. It was hard to work from my room. The TV channels took a while to come in when flipping stations. Hallway carpet has bleach spots

Review 6:Location was nice. Breakfast was very good. AC/Heat worked great and bed was comfy.

Review 7:The staff were great and helped me with all of my needs. Breakfast was wonderful and the waitresses were great. My husband was having surgery at Overlake and I was so stressed, they all were kind and friendly .

Review 8:No bad experiences.

Review 9:The free shuttle to take me to the Bellevue Transit Center each day and a pickup if I needed it. I really liked the clam chowder at the restaurant even though I had low expectations after reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at the nice free breakfast.

Review 10:Location was on the side of a highway, not very scenic, but convenient to jump on highway. Small sink area made accessing my personal toiletries clumsy. Individual coffee cup maker seemed environmentally wasteful, too much packaging.

Review 11:Comfortable bed, quiet room. Decent free breakfast.

Review 12:The location is rather inconvenient if you don't have car -- you'd need to cross freeway to get to Bellevue.

Review 13:Fridge and coffee machine in the room, coffee supplies refilled daily. Now they serve full-featured breakfast.

Review 14:From check in to check out, staff was great. I have stayed there several times in the past because it is near Group Health and your shuttle service to/from is helpful and needed.

Review 15:Although the walls seemed thick, you can hear through every single door in the hallway; we even heard our [loud] neighbors from across the hall with both doors shut.

Review 16:The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Free breakfast wasn't too bad, either, and the weekend breakfast staff worked hard to ensure everyone got in and out without having to wait for anything during a rush.

Review 17:I had a good experience but I found the hotel to be dated. It looked tired and was worn.

Review 18:I thought the staff was very helpful! The food was excellent!

Review 19:Wi-Fi, while free for unlimited devices and easy to connect to, was slow, especially in the evenings. Parts of property were not updated. Room had a very noisy fridge.

Review 20:Location is 15 minute walk from the heart of downtown Bellevue. Some updates to decor.

Review 21:No hot tub. Pool dated. Poor rollaway beds. Man who delivered bed did not speak one word when spoken to.

Review 22:Friendly staff in hotel. Ate breakfast 4 days...not one staff.member said anything at the Buffet...

Review 23:breakfast was just o.k., selection of food offered a bit poor with no variation, some of the staff not really friendly

Review 24:Location and access to highways, staff at reception was very friendly

Review 25:Bed was so sloped I had to hang on just so I wouldn't roll off. They really need to invest in some new mattresses. Exposed wires and hanging bulb nearly shocked me when turning on the lamp. The place reeked of cigarette smoke. (I'm a smoker and it was still overpowering) Coast needs to stop siphoning funds from this property and put some money into renovations. Especially since it's in such a important location.

Review 26:Clean.

Review 27:The breakfast was simple-nothing exciting! Do not expect an upscalebuffet experience. It is a budget breakfast buffet experience. The bedin the room was comfortable, however, the walls were paper thin and Icould hear everything that a group of four women in the room weresaying!! Was more interested in what they were saying than going tosleep. Got moved to another room the next night, partly because of thenoisy neighbors, but mostly the freeway noise. The second day, In thelate afternoon I was talking on my cell phone and the man in the roomnext to me started pounding his fist on the wall for me to shut up!!This was in the late afternoon!! When people should be awake.- I wasshocked, especially with what happened to me the night before. Thesecond night I slept well on a comfortable bed, but I think this was duemostly from not sleeping at all the night before. I lost one of my earplugs on the the first night, and this drove me crazy! I would havescored this hotel for an average three star hotel. The staff were reallynice. The purpose of my stay was for a conference, so the room wasexpensed. However, I do not think that I would stay here and pay for itout of my own pocket considering the price point for what I paid.Unfortunately, room rates in Seattle are rather pricey, so you may nothave much choice for inexpensive accommodation depending on the time ofyear and any events currently going on. to

Review 28:The location is excellent for attending conferences at the MeydenbauerConference Center. The front desk staff are very good and the older ladyat the front desk is outstanding -full commendation for her superbattention. The manager was helpful to get me a room on the side away fromthe freeway. I am sensitive to noise and the first night I did not sleepbecause of the freeway noise. Unfortunately, when staying in Seattle andvicinity, which I have done so on other occasions, it seems to be thenorm, that those rooms adjoining/ facing the freeway will benoisier. They offered free wine tasting in the late afternoon from 5-6P.M. Three wines were offered and the one I tried was excellent, and thelady did not mind me having seconds!

Review 29:The wifi was extremely slow and sometimes not working at all. The TV did not have most of the channels that the guide listed. Ice machines were not working on two of the floors.

Review 30:The staff was very nice, breakfast was good. It was nice having a restaurant on the premises

Review 31:Nothing, everything was perfect

Review 32:The room was really a suite with all the comforts of home. First time ever had a hotel room with a spiral staircase up to the bedroom

Review 33:TV reception problems apparently on-going. Found mold in the heating-a/c unit, showed pic I took to the a.m. desk person who assured me it would be taken care of & was given a credit on my bill.

Review 34:Liked the bedding, got a good night's sleep, and breakfast was good in that there were many choices. A.M. desk person very attentive especially in comparison to p.m. staff.

Review 35:I needed an ADA room but the only option was a single King size bed. I needed two queen beds as I was traveling with a friend. When I asked about the size of the bathrooms in the room I wanted (once on the phone & when I checked in) they didnt know if I would be able to fit in the bathroom with my wheel chair. I said, "I don't care about the shower, just need to be able to get to the toilet" both times the staff. Couldn't give me an answer. Maybe, I Don't know.... Checked into a room that wouldn't supposed to work and I could fit in the bathroom doorway even. Back down to the desk to take the ADA room I didn't want because of only one bed and they rolled in a cot/folding bed. It worked but, not really comfortable, and it was frustrating the staff didn't know about their own place.

Review 36:Location was convenient to Maydenbaur Center

Review 37:We r Mariner fans. We could not watch the game in our room either day. Because of surgery we were pretty much confined to room. We listened on radio.

Review 38:We were within one mile of medical clinic where husband had surgery. The continental breakfast was delicious and available so we could go early or late.

Review 39:so noisy down 6 floor, there group sing all the night until 2 am , we had bad sleep, we call the front desk, but the staff said they paid fee! oh, My god, make no sense! They paid the fee, We also paid the fee, we need a quite room to have a rest, and we have the right to speak out, doesnot it?

Review 40:Breakfast could have been better, Also please add eating options in vending machines as many people checkin at odd hours

Review 41:Good location , near downtown, good room

Review 42:It was hard finding a hotel last minute for Valentines Day. Coast Bellevue far past what we expected. The website we used booked us a room with a king bed when we arrived they were booked solid so they upgraded us free of charge to accommodate the inconvenience. The room was amazing and it was definitely well worth it. We will be staying again.

Review 43:It is showing its age with a tube TV in my room. It was clean but it needs to be updated.

Review 44:People are nice with a good hot breakfast. Very close to highway.

Review 45:Was told that hotel shuttle ran until 10 pm. Called for ride back at 940 and was told I was too late as it ended at 930. Finally getting back to hotel saw that driver was there. Not good leaving guest stranded if driver available.

Review 46:Breakfast was good.

Review 47:poor TV selection, I booked a King room,,, and didn't get it... check in person said ... complain to Booking.com!, the room wasn't too clean... large hairs in the sink and on the towels!

Review 48:great location, great breakfast,

Review 49:Cheap and nasty. Breakfast is shockingly por and inconsistent. Internet is unworkable. Staff are uninterested. Decor is cheap motel not value for money

Review 50:The bed and pillows where comfy. Occasionally they had banana's at breakfast. Belle Vue area is lovely

Review 51:Beware if you're handicapped that you must ask for 1st flr accomodations. There is no elevator. Very average continental breakfast I actually loved the cozy room decor, but bathroom very average

Review 52:Friendly staff Quiet Clean Charming decor More of a Bed and Breakfast feel but room privacy of a hotel A little more cozy feeling to the room than your standard hotel room. Felt less 'cookie cutter'

Review 53:The manager on duty at this property was very accommodating, and she went out of her way to compensate for a few initial issues. She resolved my issues in a very professional manner, and went above and beyond what was expected of her and this Coast Hotel.

Review 54:A weird smell at the alley. The breakfast was poor. No hot milk no cheese nor bread. If you didn't check out at 12 pm they will really annoying you.

Review 55:The staff is very friendly. It is located in silent area. Very clean.

Review 56:The hotel looks like a big block concrete dorm with an entrance below street level. Not pretty to look at. It is located next to a highway with NOTHING around it. Once inside, however, it was perfectly fine. The room was decent size, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and they offer shuttle services to downtown Bellevue. Not a good place to stay if you are visiting Seattle as a tourist because Bellevue is NOT Seattle. However, the room itself was perfectly fine for travelers.

Review 57:This hotel was suprisingly comfortable with a nice pool, good breakfast and pleasant, knowledgeable staff.

Review 58:Poor WiFi signal in the room. For pedestrian, you'd need to cross highway few times to get to the town.

Review 59:Helpful and polite staff. Clean and spacey room. Quiet at night. The coffee selection in the room featured Starbucks coffee. WiFi was quite fast but the signal in our room was too poor (it was great just outside). The breakfast was high quality. There was huge supermarket nearby. Among facilities were a pool and a laundromat.

Review 60:Poor breakfast by uk or European standards. Bit far out of Seattle but a good bus service. I expect it would be good for those traveling by car. Poor directions for getting to the hotel from the airport for those on foot.

Review 61:Excellent hotel. Good facilities and a comfortable stay. Plenty of near by facilities in Bellevue. The near by Botanic Gardens are great.

Review 62:Potentially homeless man always near lobby or in breakfast room. Cleanliness ok, found hair that was not mine in the bathroom.

Review 63:Nice staff, very friendly.

Review 64:I usually don't like to say negative things about a hotel but I felt this might be beneficial to other travelers. Firstly,Trash was not picked up in our room the next day from our first night stay. We had it neatly arranged .Terrible internet reception which was very frustrating since I had some work to do. The refrigerator was hidden. We didn't even know we had one until we were checking out. Not worth the money. Sorry.

Review 65:Free parking; pool

Review 66:Free breakfast of poor quality. We ordered from the menu and not much better. There is no convenient access to other restaurants especially given very heavy Bellevue traffic.

Review 67:Beds and rooms spacious and comfortable

Review 68:A power outage at 6:45am triggered loud alarms that woke me. No announcement or apology from the hotel until checkout. Also no effort for compensation.

Review 69:The location is convenient. Close to the 520 and 405.

Review 70:Mattress was too soft and room situated next to a noisy elevator.

Review 71:Continental breakfast was included with a nice selection of pastries, muffins and cereals. Free wifi in the room was great. Amenities were nice and there was ample parking. A Wholefoods store and Denny's is located on the opposite corner of the street and the fridge and coffee maker in the room came in handy.

Review 72:Few amenities within short walking distance (for shopping, meals, evening recreation). No eggs, sausage on the complimentary breakfast menu.

Review 73:Convenient free-way access; easy to find. Quiet, helpful and friendly staff (they all seemed to smile naturally and willing to help).

Review 74:The complementary WiFi is spotty.

Review 75:The Coast Bellevue hotel is an older updated hotel. Our room was compact but clean. There is Starbucks coffee in the room and a more than adequate, complementary breakfast available each morning. The distance to Seattle, using the I-90, is convenient and quick. It was a better value than the downtown hotels during the summer months.
