Review 1：Skii room is very small and has limited seats, no free bathrobes in the room, you have to pay for it at the reception. Spa is very slippery and the is no wet floor signs.

Review 3：The worst personnel I have ever seen working in a hotel. Rude manners, they didn't know English to communicate with the clients. The hotel there was no way as you see it in pictures. Not clean at all with very bad service, no wi fi very expensive for what it gives. Crowded pool, no good massage room..... everything was awful.....

Review 8：The personnel is unfriendly, not willing to give any directions when asked, no map available at reception. It was our first time in Bansko and we needed some advice. The dinner does not worth the money. It is of a very poor quality

Review 9：The room is very warm. The ski/snowboard equipment for rent is of good quality. The rental personnel is very nice.

Review 10：There is a nightclub in the basement - if you are unfortunate enough to be located in the right hand side of the hotel you will be woken up at midnight from the pounding bass of the music which sometimes does not stop until 7am. It's awful.

Review 12：The staff is not kind at all, only lady at the reception and few bellboys. Rest of them... don't even worth to mention. They don't speak english or they don't speak at all(guy at swimming pool). Transportation to gondola is terrible we were waiting for them sometimes for 45min.

Review 14：Guest have to pay 10 BGN for bath robes (and you need robes unless you want to walk though the whole lobby in bathing suite). If you want to change it - you pay 10 BGN each time. The lifeguard at the pool was missing for almost 3 hours and there were no towels at the pool for the whole day, though it is supposed to give you free towels when using the pool. It was not very warm in the room and there is no wifi in the rooms (only in the lobby).

Review 16：Few points which would need improving. No point offering Free Wifi as was a struggle to try and connect to the Wifi from the rooms, sometimes you would get great connection then it would go off and wouldn't be able to pick up the connection. Also another thing that needs improving we had a double bed which was lovely in side, but would been more better if we actually had a double cover not 2 single covers.

Hotel is great location in Bansko everything within walking distance. Great value for money and we enjoyed our stay. Would definatly use this hotel again

Yes, it's Lion Bansko -We ordered a coffee, although we reminded the waitress two times, the waitress brings after half an hour

Review 23：Breakfast was the same every day, juices and coffee were of poor quality. Lack of creativity for the food. No bathrobes and slippers in the rooms and the spa. Billiards table was very old and in poor condition and you had to pay 2 eur for a game, which was rather unacceptable for such hotel.

Review 25：Noise from outside was terrible, we couldn't sleep at night. And the Hotel needs some renovation it has started to look old. The staff were not so friendly, didn't help with the baggage even though they were free.

Review 28：It is not a proper 4 star hotel, rather a 3 star. The breakfast is not varied as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. The furniture and electronics are quite old. The WI-FI is ONLY available in the lobby!!! And in the evening you barely can find a place where to stay in the lobby and the internet speed reminds me of the dial-up connection. I had to connect through my "personal hotspot" paying roaming fares... During peak hours the SPA gets very crowded, one time there were 15 people in the sauna, I've counted them. The main reason is the low temperature, if it were above 80 degrees C, people would not stay as long.

Review 57：The dinner was warm not hot, and on one evening my partner noticed the chicken was raw and alerted staff who seemed relaxed about such a situation. We were checked into the wrong room upon arrival and had to waste 1/2 a day waiting for a manager to sort our room. The service and response from some of the staff was not helpful, after paying for an evening meal. The second evening we were refused entry to the dining room stating we had not paid, we then had to go to reception to state we had an then were granted access. The facilities were good, the spa was nice. But the beds looked nice but were not comfortable and pillows were not that I would expect from a 4* hotel.

Review 59：I have stayed at the Lion a number of times and have found it excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and tidy, facilities are good and the food and drinks are cheap. It ticks all the boxes for a cheap ski holiday.

Review 62：Reception staff (the only exception, who was working perfect, was Mr.Cop). 99% of restaurant staff don't speak english at all. There wasno sound insulation in the room at all (room # 524). In 10 days stayingthe room was not vacuumed even 1 time. And there were no towels for feet(and Lion is a 4* Hotel).

Review 64：Its really hard to find fault with our time at the hotel. The only two things we found slightly lacking were 1) In our room we only managed to access 12 TV channels. It would have been nice to have sattelite/cable. Perhaps it was our mistkae that we didnt request it. 2) The pool was not heated. It wasnt cold but it certainly wasnt warm.

Review 65：We decided to do a short ski trip at the end of the skiing season - 30 March until 2 April. Lion had some good reviews, appeared to be in a good location and because it was the end of the season it was also really cheap. We (two people) paid 120 Euro for 3 nights and they also very kindly let us check out at 5 in the evening when our transfer arrived instead of at 12 o'clock. Their ski shop has good equipment and is located on the front of the hotel. There is also a regular pickup service from 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening. This allowed us to wake up, have a good breakfast in the hotel, put on our boots in the ski shop, jump into the transfer and a few minutes later be on our way up to the slopes in the ski lifts. It was the definition of comfort and ease. They have a lovely dry and wet sauna, an excellent massage parlour, a gym and just generally good facilities. Most of the nights that we were there there was a welcoming fire in the fireplace by the main exit in front of the well stocked bar. The staff were friendly and efficient especially the guy at the ski shop (unfortunately I cant remember his name but he studied forrestry at college). The pricing of equipment was cheaper than we had anticipated and the ski shop guy even offered us free ski passes on our second day because they had been given to him by someone who had left early. The rooms are comfortable and the corridors are well carpeted. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Also the shower was easy to use and there was always hot water.

Review 66：In the tavern is smoke but the hotel advertising as not smoking. There was a large group from Greece who are constantly making noise at night.

Review 68：The receptionist and the receptionist manager tried to convince me to be overcharged with 20 euro for 40 valuable skiing minutes ! from booking i got a better price then reception and they didn t whant tot understand ! they finally realised their error but didn t apologise and they were Rude ! Restaurant people rude also ! But reception ,3 shifts with very rude attitude towards customers ! Also inconvinience for opening the garage ! only bell boy can open and if he is not around you Wait !

Review 74：The first impression it was perfect. We drive by car till Bansko and itwas relaxing to enter into the big hall of the hotel. It was warm andvery relaxing. The food was excellent and the price that we pay for thebuffet dinner it was very good (10 Euro/person). But it was surprisingthat we didn't find slippers at the room or wrapper at the room, whichit means that we couldn't go to the swimming pool area. We ask at thereception and there is a price for each of them, 5 euro for the wrapperand 5 leva for the slippers. We were in total 20 people so we pay 150euro only the the rent of slippers and wrappers. This is not so good,especially if happens in 4 stars hotel. At the swimming pool area thewere not and change room so we were obligated to rent the wrappers andslippers. To use the computers at the hall, we have to pay 1 leva for 15min or 2 euro for 1 hour, which is not so normal situation at the 4stars hotel and at the internet age. So, At lion hotel we book with verygood price for 3 nights, but we pay almost the same amount to use thefacilities and services offered by the hotel. This happens only at LionBansko Hotel.

Review 80：All was perfect, one flau though, there was a disco right next to the hotel owned by Lion hotel that was playing music loud and during the night you could listen to the beat while lying on your bed.. Not VERY noticable but still it was a disadvantage, not that may be on just a few rooms of the hotel, but from my room on the 3rd floor, i could hear the bass of the disco. I had no problem with that though, i could sleep well..! besides that it was a good hotel, and they also have a very hot blondie serving coffee :D thats all..
