Review 1：If you're planning to arrive by rental car, finding Casa Frieda is a bit of a challenge, especially if you don't know where to park. Free parking is provided for your stay but to check-in you may need to pay (it's only 1 Leu if you're quick so not an issue).
Review 2：was full with loud tourists that kept smoking and singing all night. the management couldn't do anything about it...

Review 4：The rooms weren't as clean as expected. The wi-fi connection barely worked. There was a foul smell and noise coming from the kitchens below our rooms.
Review 5：The accommodation is in the center of Sibiu and close to all restaurants and landmarks. The staff were friendly and we even received free parking spots for the parking nearby.

Review 8：We were surprised to find out that the reception is in a kiosk hidden in the entry to the back yard of the hotel. The same unpleasent way through the kitchen facilities is the way to the rooms. There is a nice sitting place, dining table and chairs on the public balcony of the rooms suffering from the kitchen noise and heat.
Review 9：Excellent location, only a couple of minutes from every significant point of interest including the old city center. The room is air-conditioned and with a mini fridge. We were lucky to find parking on the nearby public parking. It cost 0.25 euro/day, the hotel suggested to refund it for the two days. The restaurant has good menu, good food and reasonable prices.
Review 10：- The room has the view in the inner courtyard, that is a common ground with the back of the restaurant. It's kind of smelly and noisy. - In the middle of the night, someone was arranging bottles downstairs.

Review 19：Loved this warm and friendly hotel! Not as noisy as some reviews would have you believe however, it depends on your lifestyle! The hotel was in perfect location for all amenities and transport. Would well recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Romania as a base to travel around the country.... fabulous!

Review 24：People walk past my room windows to get to their rooms so for any privacy the curtains had to be drawn once the lights were on at all. Terrace overlooked a service yard not a cute courtyard as the publicity would have you believe.

Review 28：Most of the rooms have the windows facing the courtyard, right above the restaurant's kitchen, so there is a lot of noise and constant smell of food, which stops only after midnight. Even with closed windows, it was almost impossible to take a nap in the afternoon. On the second day, the maid did not provide a new toilet paper roll, so by the next day we ran out of toilet paper. This is very unpleasant, there should be an extra roll in the bathroom at any time. There is no way of blocking the door from inside the room, so the maid can enter even if you don't want. Again, very unpleasant.
Review 29：Very good location in the center of Sibiu. Nice a-la-carte breakfast, served until 11 AM. Room was very clean. The matress was comfortable.

The staff were superb and exceptionally helpful in sorting out a mechanical problem we had with our rental car. We can't thank them enough. A great restaurant also.

Review 78：It has a cozy ambient and it is situated in one of the main streets of Sibiu. There is a private parking near the hotel for 1Lei/hour or you can park just in front of it paying 1€/day. Frieda's staff gives you all you need to park there.

Review 96：Located very centrally in Sibiu at the start of the pedestrian area. Thought it is on top of a very popular restaurant and kiosk, surprisingly quiet in the back where the rooms are located (but will still recommend bringing ear plugs as there are unavoidable noise sometimes as the kitchen in below the rooms in the mornings). Spacious rooms, nothing fancy but well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful (for example arranging public parking tickets for us) and spoke good English.

Restaurant downstair was good, local Romanian fare. Breakfast is ordered ala carte from the restaurant menu, but there is no charge. Bathroom was spacious and shower was nice. Location was perfect and value was excellent. We really like Sibiu and especially the ASTRA open air museum.
Review 107：The noise..how can anyone spend money on good quality beds, furnishings, but fail to install double glazing. Be very aware that this accommodation is over a busy restaurant that serves food until midnight. If you are unfortunate enough to have rooms 5 or 6 that overlook the street then noise will not abate until 5am. I requested a room change that could not be accommodated. Quite ruined my one day in Sibiu. You can have anything you like for breakfast as long as it is sausage and eggs. No juice, no yoghurt, no cereals, no fruit/compote. No bread for toast. Very poor indeed.

As we were leaving very early on our day of departure, the guy on night reception made us ham rolls to take with us, instead of breakfast. This was offered without us asking. First rate we will stay again should we return to Sibiu.

Review 116：The Reception is at the street functioning also as a small food shop. Is not pleasant to wait after people that are buying water in order to talk about accommodations. The access to the rooms is made through a small passage that is also used for provision.
