Review 1：it was a bit cold in the common area for us.

Review 2：beautiful lake view. the room was clean and the commin areas as well. The administrator, Natasha, was quite helpfull even though she doesn't speak perfect english and the lady who is taking care of the kitchen, Natalia, was amazing even though she only speaks russian. we felt at home.

Review 4：Actually we tried to book Nikita and Gala but with no luck, but it turned out a great choice to choose this place, great location , 5 mins walking distance to both lake and shaman sticks, quiet and feel peace , bit far from the supermarket, like 10 mins walking, but anyway, no need to be so close to "people" and "city" , btw you can see cows, dogs and cats here. Natasha can speak English, the old lady from kitchen not, she is a very clean person so she may blah blah blah when we use the kitchen incorrectly in Russian, hehe, but she is nice. Shower is warm , view is excellent

Review 5：Messy in booking management. It's better to confirm your reservation before arrival. Or the staff may lost it. You will get into trouble if all rooms are full.

Review 6：Great location, 10 min's walk to shaman stone, 20 min's to supermarket (much better than many of other hotels already). Breakfast is also fine. Warm room

Review 7：The staff don't speak much English and the cleaning lady chased us out of the building when we came back one morning to pick up our things yelling "Go out! Go out!". I'm sorry, but we're paying a premium to stay with you, at least pretend you appreciate our money. Room #6 is great because of the private sun room and toilet, however it's near the communal dining area and can get quite loud.

Review 8：The location is great for sunrises and offers nice views of the Lake. If possible, book the double standard room and ask for room #6. This room has a private sun room which was the best thing we enjoyed about our visit. It's also one of the few rooms with its own toilet and shower, Plus it's close enough to the main entrance that you can usually get wifi in the room.

Review 9：it's not about the hostel. considering its location, it's difficult to go outside after the sunset. However, hostel itself was perfect

Review 11：1. the room I stayed shouldn't be sold. it is a very noisy room, the heater for the whole floor or building is inside our bathroom. I am not very sure if the heater is the problem but when somebody use the hot water or toilet, the big noise like stream engine starts. the noise won't stop until 1 am at night! 2. there is almost nobody can speak english. it is said a girl can speak english but she was not there for most of time. 3. the owner of the hotel seems NOT very friendly to Chinese. the old lady often yells to us with russian and some words are cursing and disrespectful, according to a Chinese friend who can speak russian. 4. the hotel claims the kitchen can be used for cooking since this hotel has no free supper, but the kitchen was open only 1 hour in the evening and the hot water kettle was locked.

Review 12：the room is ok if it is not the noisy room. there is wifi sometimes.

Review 13：Walls were very thin and noise from above,below and beside could be heard.The shower and toilet are shared with many people so need to be aware of this.Overall hotel facilities are poor on Olkhon Island so the standard is low anyway.The shower was blocked every day but reporting to staff made them clean and clear it each day.This hotel is probably the best of a bad lot on Olkhon Island.

Review 21：No credit cards accepted ! All written information in Russian only. Only one person in the staff speaks English. Thin walls between rooms. Water in shower shifts from ice cold to almost dangerously warm without warning. You cannot let children shower alone because of that.

Review 22：Location in the outskirts of the smalle town Hkuzhir is perfect. Some rooms with sea view. Hotel arrange fine excursions on the Olkhon island.
