Review 1：Some noise early in the night. Otherwise a peaceful night.

Review 2：Rough exterior, but nice room. Better than average "continental" breakfast included eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles, fruit, donuts.

Review 3：I had roaches in the room and the refrigerator didn't work and leaked Freon in the room.

Review 4：It was very convenient for getting to downtown Natchez without staying in the middle of downtown. The staff was friendly and the WiFi worked great.

Review 9：First of all it took five minutes for the water to get hot, the knobs on the tub was backwards. It smelled so bad in the room that I had to go to walmart and by spray and candles to be able to stay in the room and the bedding even smelled. The bed had springs come out and was really uncomfortable. The only light we had in the room was the bathroom light and the bathroom and ceilings in the bathroom were full of mildew.

Review 11：The vanity light made a continous humming noise, the bathroom vent was filthy, the room had a musty mildew smell, the telephone or the blow dryer didn't work.

Review 14：After driving for over 600 miles I found the location with no problems, but to find your check in was overshadowed by completion of a competing hotel with a clerk standing outside directing patrons in his establishment, which caused me to check into his facility.

Review 15：The check in clerk was wonderful, especially since I had checked in to a hotel immediately next door. Breakfast was very nice and the lobby and eating area was very clean and fresh.

Review 16：There was no phone in the room. The toilet leaked and flooded the floors. The house keeping staff ignored the do not disturb sign and kept insisting they have to give us towels because they get paid by the room. And you couldn't open the refrigerator door.

Review 20：As soon as I walked into the hotel I was overwhelmed by the smell. It smelled like dust and soap powder. It was so overwhelming that I could hardly breathe. Going to my room I opened the door to the same overwhelming odor. The room was dismal. Taking a shower was nearly impossible as the water would either be very cold or scalding. Looking out my window there were people drinking beer and grilling outside their upstairs rooms and what looked like drug deals going on in the parking lot. As I was going to sleep I found it to be the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been in. I went to call the front desk and realized there was no phone in my room. I should have read the reviews for this hotel before I booked.

Review 22：ON our last trip we experienced a problem with flies. The housekeeping employee said it was because the grass had just been cut. That was the only problem we have had at Red Carpet.

Review 23：The staff is VERY helpful and friendly. Being a disable Viet Nam vet they usually can give us a ground level room, since it is extremely hard for me to climb stairs. The entire staff will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable, that's why my wife and I stay at Red Carpet on every trip to Natchez, MS.

Review 28：The room was not clean.The bottom mattress was visible with large brown stains on it. Almost look like dried up blood. You have to force the toilet to flush. When it was time to take a shower. I could not adjust the water right. I turn on the hot water then I turn on the cold water just a little and all I got was cold water. Its either take a shower in scolding hot water or cold water. I couldn't let my son stand in the bathtub because it was nasty. I clean it out before me and my husband took a shower. The bed cover was not clean at all. I had to tell them that the bed cover needs washing and pillar cases. This is a very low budget room with a small flat screen t.v hanging off the wall. My family was not happy with the price we had to pay to stay in filth. We paid a hundred dollars a night for this room. and it was not worth a hundred. Maybe 30 or 40 dollars a night. This hotel is not pleasant at all. They need to upgrade this hotel as soon as possible before they have a law suit.

Although the room was clean, the room definitely needed to be painted and new flooring needed to be put down. Room had a very run down appearance. I was told that I had I called the hotel and booked my room that way (instead of on-line) it would have been $20.00 cheaper. That's not a good way to do business. I also didn't care for the fact that I was not allowed to get my "continental" breakfast and take it to my room. If the manager wanted to make sure that it was only guests eating there, then have them present the room key or something. I had two small children with me and I would have preferred to take the cereal back to the room.
