Review 1：They asked me to pay the room already the second day. I should stay there 5 nights. And they kept on insisting.

Review 6：Upon entering the room we were hit with a strong cigarette smell. We were not aware the hotel allows smoking in the rooms if we did we would have asked for a room which has not been smoked in. It felt like we had an ashtray by our bedside as we slept. This had a huge impact on my Asthma. We had a room with 2 double beds but they were small for double beds. Beds were extremely uncomfortable we all had a restless night each night. Pillows were also not comfortable. The shower screen sliding door in our room opened at the opposite end of the shower head so if you are adjusting the water temperature for your children and don't want to get wet be prepared you'll get drenched.

Review 7：Smack bang in the middle of the city. Walking distance to the Sabanci Mosque which is a must see and Merkez Park another must see. Literally around the corner from Ataturk Park. Pool was great and Ocak Basi restaurant had great food. Staff were professional, polite & helpful at all times.

Review 10：WiFi unreliable. Had to log in constantly to keep it going. Steam room and sauna located on the rooftop and public area; shower for before and after in full view of the restaurant and surrounding buildings: hardly an intimate experience. Relied heavily on one staff member for English speaking at any one time. But all staff friendly and helpful, even without English.

Review 11：Excellent, spacious room with fine bed and plumbing. Central location, "valet" parking for anyone with a car and an excellent breakfast. It is the hotel used by Turkish Airlines for their crew accommodation. Hotel website photograph of building is misleading, but it is a fine building.

Review 26：The shower mixer was a bit difficult to use. There was an unpleasant toilet odor in the bathroom but it was slight. I think this is due to poor ventilation.

Review 27：Everything was alright, only very minor shortcomings. They have a well organized custody system, thus you can safely leave your baggage in the hotel after you check out from your room. Swimming pool and sauna were excellent, but they close these facilities on 09:00 PM, which is too early in my opinion.

Review 28：*I never received any response to my questions about the spa and its services. I had to wait until the morning after my arrival to get answers. *The temperature in the room warm at times. The A/C unit did not provide cool air, only room temperature, as it is turned off seasonally. (I learned this during a previous stay during the same season.) Since the windows only open about 10 cm, but do not stay open (no latch), it's hard for air to circulate. *The hair salon services were very expensive and the stylists did not understand what we wanted even after showing pictures. My friend ended up stopping one of the stylists in the middle and leaving. *I was charged 30 TL extra for a massage after being quoted another price when I booked the appointment. At checkout, I inquired about the price difference and was told it was because the massage was 60 minutes, not 45 minutes. When I made the appointment, there was only ONE price shown to me on the services offered price list and no time amount given. *Trying to order glasses of wine from room service, my friend was put on hold 3 times before the order was taken. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. *Wi-fi signal wasn't strong and took a few times to be able to log-in.

Review 29：*The room was very large with a sectional couch. The beds were pretty comfortable and the pillows extremely so. *The man giving the hamam and Turkish bath was very thorough and professional. It was the best one I've had. We stayed specifically at this hotel to take advantage of the spa facilities and to get a Turkish bath from this professional. *The workout area is nice and the equipment is great, well maintained. *The massage I had was the best I've had. It was very soothing, the right amount of pressure, and very relaxing. It ended up being worth the money. *The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices--typical Turkish breakfast foods and western breakfast foods--plus an array of fruits.

Then I had to change myroom but air condition in this room was not working and room was verycold at night. Staff weren't polite. Definitely this hoteldoesn't deserve its money.

Review 47：When I arrived and checked in at 6pm, I went to my room where thetemperature was 28* c (about 82*f). I immediately switch on the a/cto cool the room but no cool air came out. I opened the window but therewas no screen so I didn't want bugs flying in so I closed it. Itried to log in to the WiFi with the code I was given but it didn'twork either. After several minutes of trying to cool the room and usethe internet, I gave up and went to meet my friends for dinner. Threehours later, I came back and the room was 29* C. I tried for an hour tocool the room and use the 3rd internet password I was given by the frontdesk, but nothing worked. (The front desk clerk even put the password inherself after she realized she forgot to activate the 1st one. Itdidn't work for her either.) At 10:30 pm, I went down to the deskand told them my room was very hot. They called for maintenance and theman came in, looked at my thermostat, ran his hand over the a/cvent, and opened my window. Then he called the desk and the same ladytold me that they didn't have a/c and that I would have to sleepwith the window open. No other options were offered. My window faced thestreet and the traffic was quite loud. I was unable to sleep that nightdue to the heat and traffic, even with a white noise blocker app on mysmartphone. In the morning, having had very little sleep, I canceled mymassage, ate breakfast with my friends, checked out after telling thefront desk I would not ever stay at their hotel again, and took thetrain home. I asked to speak with a manager and conveniently, one wasnot available. My room upon check out was 29.5* c and the outsidetemperature was about 21-22*C. For a 5 star hotel to not have a/cturned on yet have a digital thermostat for climate control in eachroom, is unacceptable. And my friends' room was 26.5*c at it'scoolest point.
