Review 1：The fireplace is a nice touch but a little inconvenient to heat up the house. It would be better to have electric heat as well.

Review 3：We couldn't regulate the AC in one of the bedrooms and it looked like there was some water damage on the walls. But neither of those things would deter me from staying in the future.

Review 7：Nothing negative to say about the Casa do Ouvidor. However it should be mentioned that a car is almost a necessity. We did everything by taxi and managed ok but a car would have made things easier.

Review 8：The Casa do Ouvidor is delightful. The combination of the old structure with modern elements gives it an individual flair - a lot of care has clearly gone into it. The house is very well equipped - we found everything that we needed. Daniel made us feel very welcome and was at pains to make sure we had everything we needed.

Review 10：Really friendly and generous staff (e.g. drove us to car rental place, were flexible with check-in and out), well equipped facilities and very beautiful yard with a pool, jacuzzi, grass lawn and the view.

Review 11：The apartment is really big. We did not use the second room with bathroom, it can easily fit two couples or a family with grown up children. We got a lot of explanations upon arrival, and when the mixer broke down, the owner replaced it immediately. Jacuzzi is perfect. Lovely view but far to the Center of Sao Roque by foot (we did not have a rental car).

Review 16：Casa Ouvidor is situated nearby the small town of São Roque. Coming from the airport you need about 15min by car. The Houses and the whole terrain of Casa do Ouvidor is very pretty and well-kept. The furnishing is comfortable, modern and in good style. Outside there´s a nice pool with a perfect view over the Ocean and to São Jorge. Manuela and Emanuel, the owner of Casa do Ouvidor are very, very hospitable. If there´s any problem they are really strived to fix it directly. In every house there´s a file filled with recommendations for your stay, adresses of their favourite restaurants and a lot of information about pico, the two brought together for their guests. Both do everything to make you feel home - and you really do. So, Casa do Ouvidor is the perfect place to stay, to relax and to enjoy the azores.

Review 17：We came to Pico out of season and almost all restaurants recommended by the owners of the house and by travel guides were closed. The drive to the closest, proper restaurant was about half an hour. There was nothing in walking distance (as we understood, this changes during main season)

Beautiful view to the ocean and são Jorge island from the terrace and swimming pool.in conclusion: a little lovely very well equipped house with a marvellous view. Review 21：Fantastic views from house, patio and pool area. Really nice to sit outside and look at the stunning view of the sea and São Jorge island. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Pool, hot-tub and outdoor space good. The house itself is very spacious and has everything you could possibly need and is interesting in itself because it is a traditional building that has been converted on the inside to be very modern and of a high standard. The owners are very nice and helpful. There's a high degree of attention to detail and it is very well maintained. There's free wifi and easy car parking. The island itself is very easy to get around by car as the roads are good and there's very little traffic (probably not so easy without a car). There's a good supermarket in São Roque which sells local fish, amongst other things. There's one bar/restaurant about 20 mins walk away on the edge of São Roque, and a couple of others further into town. We had a very relaxing 5 days here and would definitely recommend it if you want to get away from it all for a few days.
