Review 1：The location isn't great little bit far from places but that's djerba everything is far from each other. We would hire a car next time.

Review 2：The maison was amazing the lady who ran it was very lovely and courteous.

Review 3：no internet connection in side the rooms . no big range of TV canals especially Arab TV canals and French TV canals.

Review 4：the Location is great even though it's not that close to the beach. Friendly environment. very nice rooms with authentic Djerbien decor .

Review 5：Internet was weak and only available in the courtyard. We went at a timewhen 5 small Tunisian families (family and friends) booked to stay atthe hotel. They took over everything. They had 11+ young children intotal who ran around everywhere, shouting and screaming, adults nodifferent. The parents would arrive late at the hotel and then proceedto blast songs in the courtyard where all the bedrooms are located offuntil the early hours. I stopped using the swimming pool because therewere so many of them who took over all the sun loungers etc, and when Iwas having a peaceful swim, they hooked up some speakers and blastedchildren's rhymes and songs for the kids with complete lack ofconsideration for anyone else. They really put a downer on a peaceful,relaxing holiday. Maybe guests should try and check if a load offamilies are booked in before they go. My mate and I had 2 days ofpeaceful relaxation before the families arrived.

Review 6：This was our second visit to Madison Leila and as usual it wasfantastic. The pool is amazing, architecture, decoration, cleaners andthe host are all brilliant. 2 mins taxi ride to the centre, Midoun forunder 2 dinar. Rooms are clean, comfortable and there are coffee and teamaking facilities 24hours.

Review 7：The staff were very friendly, rooms were cleaned every day and a decent breakfast was served daily. Alessandra was a great host who attended to all of our needs including helping with car hire rental. The location was ideal for us, wifi connection was good in two of the bedrooms, swimming pool was clean and the rooms were very spacious. We hired the Superior Apartment.

Review 8：wi-fi does not work in the rooms due to solid construction of the walls. Payment in cash only. It will cost as much or more to take a return trip by taxi to either Midoun (3km) or Ht. Souk (8km) as it costs for a simple meal in those places. However limited meal selections are available in the hotel.

Review 9：The place is easy to find since all the taxi drivers know Le Mosquuee Fadhloune. (5 dinars from Ht. Souk louage station). Alexandria, who is Italian, and her jolly staff do an excellent job of making everyone welcome and provide a more than adequate orientation. I stayed in the smallest suite which has an almost Arabian Nights ambiance. Everything is in tip top shape and seductive to the eye. The pool is right outside the room door. The small number of rooms creates a true feeling of intimacy, unlike the monstrous all-inclusive package tour heaps that clutter the nearby beaches. Breakfasts are an experience with tastes and selections that are too vast to list. I had to leave early to connect with a train at the railhead at Gabes on the mainland and the hostess fixed me a simple breakfast at 6:30am.

Review 10：The location was not really bad, but a bit out of way from everywhere, but taxis are super easy to get and super cheap, so it didn't really bother us at all.

Review 11：To be honest, it was all very lovely and nice. Alessandra is a great hostess and her staff are doing their best to make you feel at home. We stayed at the Amira suite which was super nice and oriental style, the room got cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast was nice as well, maybe a bit too sweet for my taste, but very nice nevertheless. And the pool area was also really nice and lovely. All in all I can highly recommend this place!

Review 15：I spent 3 nights in november and everything was absolutely perfect. Staff is polite and helpful and the owners will help you with every issue you have. Rooms are big and comfy and i simply loved the oriental style.

Review 16：A lovely tranquil little hotel well away from the "zone touristique" with just five rooms centred round a traditonal-style courtyard with a fountain where a simple but delicious breakfast was served in the morning and guests could sit and take coffee during the day. My accommodation, Wael, consisted of a traditionally-funrished lounge, bathroom and bedroom which opened on to the swimming pool. And all at a bargain price. I recommend it.

Everything about Maison Leila gives you a feeling of local family authenticity away from the big tourist hotels. We like the fact that the hotel is situated between Houmt Souq and the east coast, just on the edge of the 'no frills' town of Midoun. If you have a hire car to explore the island (and some of the mainland towns, ksars etc are not far away) your experience will be even more enriched. Maison Leila is a gem.
