Review 1：Wifi was intermittent in our room, had to go to reception if we wanted Wifi on most days

Review 2：Staff were very friendly, rooms were spacious, air con worked, overall the only complaint would be the Wifi in the room, however, it did work in the reception area

Review 7：The room has a stench of stale air when we checked in. The aircon was leaking in the main walk in . The bed room aircon was noisy. Basin waste pipe was leaking. Cleaners didn't mop the floors until we had made several complaints. There was virtually no wifi in the room despite advertised as having free wifi in the room. The washer had to be manually controlled.The breakfast was very ordinally. The lifts need upgrade.

The next day when we went to our car we received 2 parking summons. The staff should inform us and give us a parking card earlier and inform us how does the system works.

Review 31：We had a 2-bedroomed apartment which was huge, really large, comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely lounge / dining area with a squashy couch to relax on at the end of the day. It's just a few minutes walk from the waterfront, and parking was easy. Love the pool on the roof and the breakfast buffet. We didn't cook, so can't say if the kitchen was well-stocked or not. There was a bottle opener, though!!

Review 46：big problem with the elavator during normal office days, to enter hotel it is neccesary to use the same elevator as the office part it cause that somtimes it takes nerly 10 min to get in the elevator

Looking for parking space was really troublesome during working hours. And we had to buy the parking coupons. Breakfast menu was limited. We had only one menu for main course.

Review 71：however, having to be on 2 stages of elevators is a bit cumbersome. the elevators for the main building are not 100% functional and slow. the elevators for the apartments are slow as well. the parking lot being shared with the offices can be challenging as well. not to mention the smell from the rubbish everytime we had to go to the main elevators. the ladies public toilet on the 4th floor is in bad condition and a bit repulsive. so, we had to go back up after breakfast instead of taking the elevator down. that makes having 2 elevators to use a bore.

Review 72：the room is spacious with sufficient cooking facilities. recommended for families on holiday with kids. my kids can even produce an omellete for snacking. the location is definitely an added value. the staffs are helpful. it especially feels good to stay in a place far from home and having someone to clean them up daily.

During our stay the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was not working and the water heater broke down also, however an attempt to put this right was dealt with efficiently and although it could not be mended we were offered another room to shower and received a written apology for the inconvenience.

Review 79：Lift needs maintenance or upgrading. Facilities in the room ie dryer washing machine pls do regular check to see if in good condition. I used the washing machine n cudnt open the door. There was already a crack near the latch when i first saw it. Maintenance came to open the washing machine door. Upon checking out i was asked to pay rm50 because latch was broken. After i explained to the front office in the end they did not charge me.

Review 91：We booked 3 nights in a deluxe 2 bed apartment and extended out stay. The apartment was spacious for the 4 of us and good use was made of the washing machine and dryer. The roof top pool gives a great view over the city to the north and south.. Breakfast is plentiful. with both English and Asian offerings. Te friendly staff are keen to help and very welcoming. I highly recommend the double apartments as excellent value for money

Review 92：There is scope to improve the maintenance and general appearance for example we had to ask for a missing shower door to be replaced (we suspect just taken from another room) and the curtains in one bedroom were too small so did not meet. Housekeeping was satisfactory though our dirty towels were not replaced with clean one on one occasion.

Review 93：The 1st lift to lobby(located at 4th floor) actually the same lift used by workers in other half building, which means very crowded and take a long time for the lift services. And the hotel doesn't have reserved parking lot. Hard for people who rent a car. At night, there was some kind of this animal, size of an ant, and it bites you for real.

Review 112：First when you arrive there, you can feel a bad smell on the building ground floor. Then you go to 4th floor for reception, they will welcome with a pleasant smile to check-in and give you a password for wifi but it will not work. during my 3 day stay it didn't work, always they say that they will reset modem. They told me it is due to heavy traffic but i don't know where is the traffic. I rarely see people on he lobby. The housekeeping is only just making your bed, nothing else. I don't have towels on my bath room from the second day on-wards because hotel don't have towels. Even pool don't have towels. Breakfast is only bread, butter, jam, nasi lemak, sausage, egg, coffee and juice. Nothing more. no change.

Review 113：l like the location of the hotel but not the hotel. Will never go back there. Staff is friendly on arranging taxi and all but i think they are helpless and doing the best to do their job.

Review 120：The lobby is on the 4th floor and the fact that it is a serviced apartment, don't expect a doorman to help carry your luggage when checking in and out. Service is very basic and no fuss. Hate the fact that need to pay upfront for the whole time we stay when checking in. Breakfast is pretty basic. No taxi standing by in front, so we need to walk a bit to flag down a cab.

Review 121：The room or i should say, the apartment that we stayed in is very spacious. It has a kitchen with kitchen utensils, laundry machine and dryer as well inside the washroom. The living room has a dining table and it has big sofa for the family. Cleanliness is good. Put the pls make up room sign and the apt was always cleaned when we returned.

Review 140：Granted, the hotel is showing it's age and with a little effort on the exterior grounds could be made presentable.They are in the process of renovating and this can be annoying at times, however if you are out touring this will not present too much of a problem. The main building ground floor lifts were are a pain most of the time and could do with some maintenance to alleviate problems. Stay away from the balcony suites as they have the air conditioning compressors on the side and can be somewhat noisy.

Review 141：The Ariva Gateway would have to be my choice on my next visit to Kuching. The staff are more than happy to meet your needs and can solve problems with no fuss. The breakfast is satisfactory for the start of the day and given there are no kitchen facilities there, the staff did very well to supply what they did. Surely it is not your top hotel but it is comfortable and very handy to the river and CBD for your walking tour.

Review 146：The dirt part. The apartment is very, very dirty. The cleaners have no intention of doing anything more than rearranging the shoes and taking away dirty towels. Clean towels you have to ask for, as well as toilet paper. Nothing is clean. Cups are dirty, shower is dirty, yuck. It's old, moldy, infested with ants, leaking showers, broken lights. Each day we had to ask for toilet paper and towels, on arrival the floor was clearly not even swept, let alone mopped. It was disgusting, and was very much deteriorating the comfort and convenience. Even the lift buttons are sticky and greasy. The parking smells of poop and is very dark, I wouldn't want to let my wife go in there alone, it's creepy.

Review 147：The cheap part I liked. Good location, very attractive price. It has free parking. Breakfast is simple but it's there and it's included in the price. Staff is friendly although not very knowledgeable.
