Review 1：In the bathroom was mold.They don't have dnd\yes sign. The restaurant looks ok but expensive.

Review 2：Is near to old city(10 minutes walk).The room is big and cozy.The fact that it was warm all time.

Review 3：Management was a total failure. First room, radiator leaked, toilet was not fixed to the floor and leaked. Changed rooms, just as bad with leaking shower, bed slats broken, curtains torn and falling apart. Not handicapped friendly as requested. No heating until after 7 P.M. and no hot water during the day. Breakfast was awful, eggs cold, yogurt warm, sausage hard as rocks and cold, cheese dried out, juices, colored sugar water. No napkins on the tables just a box of farcical tissues. Staff nowhere to be found when needed or they stood around with hands in their pockets talking to each other or drinking coffee. We would Never recommend this hotel...stay away!!

Review 4：The beds were really uncomfortable, I could feel the coils inside. Internet was barely working and the signal kept on dying. The rooms ar very badly isolated and I could even here people flicking the switch in the next room.

Review 7：Very convenient hotel. Not very far from the center o Sibiu approx.500m. Very polite front desk. The room was clean. Breakfast is very good with many options. Big free privet parking.

Review 8：Poor English level of the staff at the restaurant. Really uncomfortable bed. Next day we had to drive 12 hours and we needed a good sleep, but it was impossible. The moment you lay down on the bed you feel the bed springs pushing your body. Couldn't sleep at all and my whole body was in pain in the morning.

Review 10：There is quite a big road with busy traffic, so it is disturbing when sleeping with the window open (on the other hand easy to approach by those who travel with cars, motorbikes). Our room was on the very top under the roof, so it was extremely hot and stuffy there (it was a peak of the summer, so no wonder), but air-contidioning that was promised was missing! Our room did not have air-conditioning, only fan (ventilator). Another problem was wifi, that was not working in the third floor. We had to spend much time when planning our trips down at the reception, when it is working without problems. We also encountered cocroaches repeatedly in the bathroom, but we are not scary of them, so it was not that big problem :-)

Review 11：We traveled by train, so we appreciated the location close to train station. There was a small fridge which is always useful. Walking distance to the very city center. There was 24h reception and no need to put the keys there every time you leave, because system was working on the basis of cards. There is a balcony, but neighbouring room is so close that no privacy is ensured (when being on balcony you can see inside the next room - and of course it works contrary as well). There were parties, weddings etc every night, so you can have a fun and get to know local culture (weddings habits etc.), but yes, of course it is noisy...

Review 12：The morning bufet was good, but they could add some regional specialties to it. However, it caters to everyone's tastes.

Review 14：Room cleaning was minimal - bedspread left in a heap on the floor and the place neither swept or mopped in 3 days. I have never seen hotel staff like these - the restaurant manager having her bottom patted by staff, tables not cleared, little food and dry bread 20 minutes before breakfast service ended - and afterwards fresh food put out and staff from the restaurant and reception helping themselves. The bar area outside also difficult to get anyone to come and serve. Truly it seemed a case of the lunatics taking over the asylum - anarchy and completely unprofessional. I have travelled extensively, stayed in hundreds of hotels and have only once before written so negatively.

Review 25：It was such an horrible night. We were so tired after a long motorbike trip just needed a good sleep. When we fell a sleep at around 1 am, we just woke up in 10 min with an unbelievable noise like some people upstairs trying to push some tables, throwing some furnitures all around, rolling some stuff on the ground... At 1 am! It was such a noise that it never happened to me in a hotel, ever. Besides that the pillows were smelly, the bathrooms are aged.

De odihnit nu m-am putut odihni deoarece prizele sunt montate pe tăblia patului unde se sprijină capul și pernele și unde unii din noi mai ținem și mâinile când dormim. Una din prize a fost ieșită din lăcaș într-o parte și se mai susținea doar în cealaltă parte. Baia, pe cat de mare, pe atât de jegoasă, iar chiuveta și dusul erau înfundate.

Review 28：While in Sibiu I had a fall and broke my wrist, and had to extend our stay. the staff were so helpful in all respects....help with my medical problem, directions, making phone calls for us (in local language) etc

Review 29：Being near a main-ish street there was some traffic noise, but not too bad. I just like to sleep with the window open. While I was there they were having private wedding parties that were a bit loud, guess I should have tried crashing the party.

Review 30：The hotel is a short walk through the winding streets to get to the center of the old city and seemed to be safe to travel at all hours. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 35：Very slow Internet connecrion - no joking: the signal was fine, but the speed....Huh, I wouldn't call it "speed" when there is literally almost no traffic. Also they accomodate weddings and conferences. First type of events are noisy and participants of the second smoke wherever they want irregarding of allowing/disallowing signs.

Also we arrived earlier than expected and on the day of our departure it was raining: many thanks to the persinnel who in first even let us in before the time of check-in and when we were leaving allowed us staying three hours more to wait for the transport.

And the worse we didn’t have toilet paper at all , and when we call to the reception desk to ask the receptionist come to check to see if we have or not…. The breakfast was very poor; the food was looking disaster so we just drink two cappuccinos and we left.

Review 45：This hotel fits exactly to what would one expect when visiting Sibiu. Appolo Hermanstadt looks like a fortress of sorts and it has a inner court where you can park. It is very close to the Hystorical centre, basically if you go trough the front it is a modern way and through the back your bang right in the middle of the medieval city. Good amnieties and really nice and polite staff. Restaurant is a bit too posh. Some variety ffrom day to day brackfast would be great,although for a one day is a great breakfast. Really nice overall.

Review 58：We chose this Hotel because of the private park place and Wifi. The nightmare began with parking. There was a wedding party, the hotel was full of drunk people and loud music. Parking was full with cars and there was no place to park for people who had booked a hotel room. We were guided to a "spare" parking place, kind a yard of a shopping center with the same name, rain was falling and moving back to the hotel was a real adventure, jumping to avoide puddles. No umbrela for visitors... Cars were "secured", i.e. you have no access to yours anymore and must ask someone to call there any time when you want to use it. This is hotel parking. The party continued until midnight and sleeping was impossible. We tried to call few times the reception desk. First, the phone was unplugged from the socket, after connecting it, there was nobody to pickup at the desk...We gave up and simply waited until the party ended. Wifi was very poor and it was almost unusable. The room wasn't clean enough and the beds were unconfortable with bad sheets. Next day, regarding to the staff's explanation, the car parking was supposed to be open but when we went there evrything was locked. Surprize! Walk again to the hotel, and backwards, etc. before the car was our again. Should we recommned this hotel, NO, unless you are fan of self-torture and want to ruin good impressions of old Sibiu.
