Review 2：Prompt, responsive, professional, and friendly staff. Very clean, real spotless. Close to airport -- a max 10 minute ride to the airport. The hotel provides reliable free shuttle to/from airport. Excellent for the night before an early flight. I needed a ride to the airport at 3:30 am - the hotel receptionist took me to the airport. Very nice!

Review 27：- very quick pick up at the airport - manager was very nice and helpful - super deal especially for families on their final night near the airport : 2 rooms each with flat screen televisions with cable - purple themed, but fun not garish and very clean - bonus : for around 3€ the manager can have you driven to a really good mall with different restaurants. The mall is huge and worth visiting just to see the effects of globalization. It's clearly THE place to go on Saturday evenings !

Review 28：The guy from the reception very helpful and very nice. He greeted us and help with our languages upstairs. The room was so nice, clean, and our baby had a very nice crib. Free shuttle to the aeroport in am a big plus. I recomend this place to every one. Price acceptable. If I will go back , I would stay there again.

Review 31：Helpful free shuttle travelling with a cat was no problem. Soacious rooms and bathroom was huge. We were there to catch a flight from the airport and infortunatley did not have alot of time.

Review 32：Not a problem but important to know: free airport pickup requires phoning them to let them know you need the pickup--fine if you have a phone, but a problem if you don't. The hotel is in the middle of a residential district with basically no stores or restaurants around. If you don't have a car the only place within 1km walking distance is a grocery store and a McDonalds. No problem if you have a car or are there for a short stay--but good to know before you book.

Review 33：Huge room with a balcony and Jacuzzi tub. AC worked great. Pleasant and helpful staff. I called from the airport for a pickup and they were there within 10 minutes. The shuttle to the airport in the morning was great too. Close to the airport, so you can sleep in a little longer even with an early morning flight :)

Review 37：We needed an overnight hotel, before an early departure from the Bucharest Airport. The Amythest was an excellent value and provided far more than we really expected, especially considering the small charge we paid. I also want to specifically thank Sorin for all of his help. I'd recently sprained my ankle and was in no condition to carry bags up and down stairs. He took care of all of it, and even tapped on our door early in the morning to insure that we were ready to go at the time we'd said we needed to leave. Very nice man.

Review 38：Air con took too long to cool the room it would have been nice had it been put on before we arrived as it was an attic room and very hot. The hotel needs a sign outside to show where it is.

Review 40：Very close to car hire at the airport. The staff were very friendly and helped us the next morning with our plans to visit the Palace of the Parliament. We loved the 2 bedroom suite, perfect for us and 2 our teenage children.

Review 41：I booked one night at Amythest House for me & four friends prior to our early morning flight out of Bucharest. We were very pleased with the five bed suite, which enabled us to all stay together without having to book separate rooms. The hotel was very clean & the service provided by Adrian (I believe that was his name) was first class! We received a shuttle ride to the airport early in the morning & the location was great for an early flight. We also really enjoyed the cat that hangs out on the property!! :) I would definitely stay here again!

Review 51：noise noise and again noise. we stayed there for one night, before the flight to which we had to leave at 4 AM. So we tried going to sleep around 10pm. but there were guests leaving and coming in the hotel and talking in the hallways and it was impossible. eventually around 12 we got some peace and quit, which lasted for an hour or so, because then people came and it was noisy again. eventually did not manage to get any sleep at all.

Review 54：the place was overall clean but I found the coverlet on the bed stained/dirty. I asked for sheet set for the couch the kids were sleeping on and a blanket for them and the staff suggested I use the coverlet for them. I declined that recommendation and explained that it was stained. He went and checked in the hall way to see if it was stained before brining me clean sheets for the kids. My suggestion to them is "don't doubt your customers/clients". If a customer says something is dirty then the staff should simply apologize and take care of the issue immediately.

Review 55：The staff were great. Close to Otopeni airport (15min by car on a Saturday mid morning) It was quiet. The prices were great.

Review 56：This is how it works: The hotel is a house in a residential neighborhood. So it is not easy to find. I called them from the airport and they came to pick me up quickly. Once you are in the house, there is nothing much you can do except walking around the neighborhood.

Review 63：The location, while close to the airport, is terrible. I hardly slept because there were dogs barking and roosters calling all night. And I had to leave my window open because it was so hot. It was cheap, but you get what you pay for. I would pay more and stay somewhere else next time.

First surprise came when we went the the indicated adress on booking.com, to be told that our rooms are in a different building, different adress.. Not COOL.. Ok, it's not very far away, but still i don't consider it beeing normal. Once we got to the "other" hotel, we saw that the " suite" we booked was actually 2 regular rooms.. Again, not COOL.. No breakfast facilitys at this 2.nd hotel, if you wanted to eat you were invitec to the other hotel, on the first location. The location i would describe it "poor", on some side-streets, difficult to find even wirh GPS!

Review 89：The furniture is a bit dated. The bed in our room was square and not too big (my feet were coming out). The worst thing was the noise, if anyone talks in one of the rooms around, it's like you're in the same room. I couldn't fell asleep until 4 am.

They invested more in chrome and purple decor and fancy showers with all kinds of massage effects, than in a good mattress (which was somewhat too soft). Still, the staff and helpfulness more than made up for that, as did the very reasonable price. In all, a good location for spending a night before take-off.

Although cheap long term parking is provided, they ask you for your car key in case they need to move it around in the garage/courtyard. A safety issue comes to mind...

Upon arrival, we were sent to another hotel building and lived in a rooms on the top floor. -One Of the rooms had separate beds, which were under the sloping low ceiling. every bed in a separate cell - In the second room also had a low ceiling, and I personally got 3 injuries in a very uncomfortable bathroom. - was NO wife, except reception zone - rooms were for 2 people, there was only 1 bathrobe and 1 slippers. - Breakfast was served in another building (distance 800 m)

Review 116：It was easy to get there using the ring road and it is near the airport. The drive into the centre of Bucharest was also very straightforward from here. The friendly, helpful staff plus new, clean facilities made it the best of the six places I stayed in this holiday.

Review 120：this is our 2nd stay, and this time our room was in the new building. Beautiful brand new room. A driver picked up my husband from the car rental after we returned our rented car, and drove us the next day to the airport. The hotel's location is excellent for travelling to the airport

Review 121：Breakfast is not worth 5 euro. I ordered the breakfast when I booked the room, and later learned that young children are not required to pay. The Euro-RON exchange rate they give is high, so you pay more than you should for the room (an exchange rate of 4.5 instead of 4.3)
