Review 7：No warm water on my first day. It worked on the second day then. Small rooms and very small bathroom, hardly enough space to use the sink. I expected a little more for the price of the hotel. Single rooms were all to the street which is very loud!

Review 15：Nothing special, Everything was fit into the price level. The price for the breakfast seemed little bit too high but there is a plenty of alternatives nearby. Only problem was that the staff seemed not speaking in English (I was with a friend who can speak in Russian).

Review 25：Unfortunately I have to say what I didn't like about this hotel. There was no air conditioner in our junior room (полулюкс) on the fifth flore. It was extremely hot :( We had to keep the windows open, in order to get air in our room. Mosquitos that got to the room through the windows really bothered us. I had so many mosquito bites that made me sad. :( It looked like I had big acne on my legs and arms. Falling asleep was hard, because it was very loud. I could hear every car driving. Horrible experience! There was no power outlet by the bed. I had to put my phone to charge(by the front door). For some reason, our mate didn't clean dust in our room. Lackily the flore was cleand and the sheets and towels changed. The hotel is located in the center of the city, so if you drive, expect to get stuck in traffic sometimes. The receptionists were not always nice. Some of them didn't even say hi when they saw us. I was leaving the hotel by myself in the morning. I had two suitcases and a backpack. The guard was there at the moment I was leaving and he didn't even help me. My last impressions of this hotel wasn't good... I would recommend this hotel for winter time. When it's not hot and Mosquitos won't bother you.

Review 26：The reason I chose this hotel was the price. I was surprised how clean it was which was nice. The location is very convenient, which didn't matter to us, because we had a car. If you use pablic transportation you will appreciate how convenient the location is. We used threir parking lot outside the hotel. There was always a spot for us. I stayed there with my dad, so we had one room with two beds. We stayed there for 5 days. Every day we had our sheets changed and the flore vacuumed. There was a fan, soap and body wash with shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. I would recommend that you bring your own soap, because their soap doesn't foam. I felt like my hands were not clean after using it. I didn't try their shampoo, because I briught my own. The body wash was fine though. Wifi worked excellent. Their safe didn't work at first, because the battery was dead. I called reception and they sent someone to fix it. By the way, the person who they sent to our room was very friendly. Russians are not that friendly in general ;)) Lol. Breakfast was tasty! There was a great variety of food. We paid 350 rubbles per person after each breakfast. I asked the receptionist to reserve taxi to the airport for me for the next morning. Taxi arrived on time. During the check out the receptionist called their mate to check my room. It turned out I forgot my jacket. It was good they made this call.

It offers unbelievable value and clearly all aspects of the hotel are managed to the highest standards - and everything works including free WiFi. My single bedroom with an ensuite facility was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast is wholesome and although a buffet arrangement there is a waitress on hand to help. The hotel is well located and within a short walking distance of the coach and main railway station. There is a large shopping mall nearby with a restaurant on the second floor. I defy any traveller to find a better hotel in Kalingrad at the price on offer. Congratulations to all staff at The Berlin Hotel for setting such high standards and continued good fortune.
