Review 1：Maintenance lever could do some improvement. The vent in the bathroom made a terrible noise. Rooms are rather small for a 5* hotel. I had to pay extra if I wanted a better coffee or fresh orange juice at breakfast.

Review 4：The hotel is located in the heart of the city, near to Black Catedral, the staff is very helpful and supportive, the pool and sauna are quite nice and the breakfast is exact how should be.

Review 5：Receptionist was very avoiding when I requested room change due to leaking bathtub. This was most probably because he thought we were making a case out of nothing to get better room for free. Kinda insulting, I must say, but I found reason for bathtub leak - when you fill it up with water, it does not leak, when you step into it, since it is plastic, it bends and then starts leaking. Avoid room 311. When booking Christmas dinner I was told to come back to reception for 2 times, then they sent me to the top floor restaurant manager who then sent me back to receptionist, who sent me then to office above reception where they made a reservation (?) for dinner at table in hotel restaurant that took 10 minutes to make, then they sent me back to reception where I paid for the dinner and waited another 5 minutes to be issued a receipt and dinner ticket.

Review 6：Location, flare, breakfast, comfort of the room and amenities, spa was good and top floor restaurant and organized Christmas dinner was excellent. Room view was very beautiful, we were looking at Brasov fortress. Hotel was impeccably clean and service to the room was amazing. WiFi was excellent. Last Christmas my wife and I stayed in Kronwell hotel and we didn't like it, so this year we went to Aro Palace. Overall, it is better hotel with a bit more flare ( I like Art Deco) and gives feeling of higher class. Aside from a bit disorganization in reception/hotel arrangements, we had nice stay and excellent dinner. Spa was nice and free for hotel guests, but Kronwell spa was a little bit better. In short, this hotel is better, but there could be some improvements. Nevertheless I can highly recommend this hotel!

Review 7：Nicely decorated in a more of a classical style, the hotel and its friendly staff provided for a comfortable stay and a few nice surprises. The location is great too: the central plaza is a mere 10 minutes walk across the lovely historical centre, and along the way you'll find a large variety of good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores. A bus terminal is just 5 minutes away and there you can take, among others, the bus 20 which goes to Poiana Brasov.

Review 8：Pool was closed and is an important feature of this hotel but nothing on the booking site indicating that it was closed for renovations. That is not fair. My fiancee stayed on my booking and I wrote to the hotel to specifically ask them to charge my cc that they get when you make a booking. When she arrived they refused her to stay unless she paid upfront despite having my CC on the booking record that comes when a booking is made. At no time did they contact me beforehand that this request would be a problem even after I specifically wrote to the hotel. Anyway it sorted itself out when I sent the CC details by a subsequent email and a refund was given to my fiancee. Poorly handled and poor customer service which was a shame as I had stayed there 3 weeks earlier and things went well .

Review 16：The small sign on the back of the bathroom door is correct. The wet areas can be slippery. Too bad they never thought about putting something in the bottom of the tub to make it less slippery. Falls hurt.

Review 18：We had an incident with our room which delayed our departure 4 hours. After waiting so long for the staff to resolve it, we finally got an apology, but nothing else. We also had a drink that wasn't ours added to the room bill, but I didn't get the itemized bill until after I had paid (lesson learned that I have to inspect everything in advance). Our last morning ruined the stay.

Review 20：Unfortunately i was very disapointed. I chose Aro Palace because of position and 5 stars. I was traveling with my wife and doughter to celebrate her birthday 1year. We stay for two night and we was freezing. First night i call the recepțion and ask about warming and they told as that the heating of the room is only between 19- 21 o clock. We have in rest all the time cold temperature. Our doughter have to sleep with a hut. I don't think that is normal to sleep with a hut in a 5 stars hotel. The food from breakfast was cold ( omlet etc). Very disapointing. I don' t recommanded. Only the presence of pool dont' make the quality of a 5 star hotel!

Review 53：Due to the construction activity going on, the lobby area was noisy and totally unpleasant. This made the restaurant downstairs literally unusable. We were recommended to use the restaurant on the 8th floor. When we went to the 8th floor, it was fully empty and yet the staff did not let us in saying that it was fully booked. The waiter couldn't speak much of English whereas the Manager refused to talk to us. It was extremely disappointing behavior. When we asked them to connect us to the reception via in house phone, they simply refused. Frustrated, we went downstairs to the reception and they seemed clueless about what was the event upstairs or why we were not offered a place. They couldn't convince the restaurant manager either. They then opened a specific area for us on the noisy lobby level which was somewhat shielded from the noise and this is where we had dinner. The staff here tried to help and change our moods, but the overall setting, smell and the fact that we were eating alone in almost a ballroom sized restaurant made the whole experience totally unforgettable
