Reviews for Hotel St. Olav

Review 1:To acess the internet in the room, guest shall have an active phone number in Norway to receive the password by sms,I did not have it ,so I was not able to use internet in room .Reception told me that they can not help and if I do not have an active phone number in Norway .

Review 2:Lack of hair dryer

Review 3:It is close to the hospital where I was visiting someone .

Review 4:I did not know it was an hopital hotel, I mean... directly connected to the hospital... wierd surprise, ok, maybe my false.

Review 5:The rooms are converted hospital rooms... A bit clinical for my taste...

Review 6:The room was rather spartan

Review 7:Friendly and helpful staff. Connection to St. Olav's Hospital. Excellent breakfast included.

Review 8:There should have been a chair in my room; a chair which I could use to sit with my pc. There was a sofa, but no chair.

Review 9:Very efficient in-out checking. Nice atmosphere in the reception. Very nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast.

Review 10:The staff. I was having a problem with my mobile phone and the lady at reception (I wish I knew her name) was sensational. She went to a lot of effort and trouble to help me, and she was amazingly friendly as she did it. Excellent service!

Review 11:The WLAN - an important reason to choose this hotel - can be used only with a Norwegian mobile phone. In addition breakfast is served on Sundays from 8 a.m. which is too late to reach the trains to Oslo and Bodo

Review 12:The rooms look like a hostel, but the price is high. You have to clean yourself after breakfirst. Breakfirst is mediocre.

Review 13:You can borrow DVD player and play station. Some of the staff are very nice.

Review 14:Breakfast was disappointing: the scrambled eggs were just lukewarm, grapes did not look washed and cinnamon rolls were pretty stale. Thebathroom door, a sliding door, was very hard to open and close, in spiteof a large leather handle on it. Somebody with a handicap would findthat pretty hard, which surprised me, being this a hospital hotel.

Review 15:Staff are very helpful, smiling and professional without resulting fake, which I always appreciate. The room (a single) was reasonably goodsized, clean, and with excellent soundproofing walls and balcony doors. The bathroom light went automatically on when needed.

Review 16:could have been cheaper- 720 Nkr is enough for one night

Review 17:Nice staff, good breakfast, and important for me-nearby the hospital. Qiuet and relaxing.

Review 18:I liked the bed and bathrooms

Review 19:Location, near to ST.Olavs Hospital.

Review 21:Cheap rates, clean and tidy, good on site cafeteria with breakfast lunch and dinner available

Review 22:The price was a bit high maybe due to the holiday season.

Review 23:Very clean room with new furniture. The cafeteria had a small garden. Very good breakfast.

Review 24:Room Smell in room Reception

Review 25:Location

Review 26:Rooms were exact copies of hospital rooms

Review 27:Not much / felt like I had been admitted to a hospital

Review 28:The hotel is part of a hospital, and is mostly used by friends and family of patients.

Review 29:the price for this poorly room

Review 30:i will never come back
