Reviews for Auberge Kasbah Tifaoute
Review 1:Shower temperature can sometimes change between hot and cold.
Review 2:Value for money - relatively inexpensive lodging in famous touristic area, but good facilities and location Staff - very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, eager to look after the guests' every need, helpful with planning activities and information.
Review 3:If you don't have a car, it takes 20min on foot to the Kasbah town. Hotel itself is good. But taxis there are trying to rip you off severely.
Review 4:Good hotel. I didn't expect hot shower and internet, because of remote location. But they have it. Common area is good.
Review 5:Room was big enough, nice decorated, clean. Has its own private bathroom which was clean also. We stayed one night there during our trip from marrakech to merzouga. Near Ait ben Hadou kasbah. Nice views from terace. Friendly owner. Gave us free mint tea and cookies, also some local mandarins.
Review 6:No door between bedroom and bathroom :-)
Review 7:This is a very good small place near AIT Benhaddou, run by family. We had a good evening chat, the tajin served as dinner was our best we had during our week in Morocco. Wonderful walk via the river and gardens to AIT Benhaddou ksar.
Review 8:Peaceful location in the beautiful Ounila valley, very warm welcome from the family and surprisingly great facilities for the price. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
Review 9:THE FAMILY ARE REALLY LOVELY AND KIND. they show you the auberge and how they've built it with their own hands. The place is so nice and charming. I really recommend it.
Review 10:Wifi signal was not always good but still ok. If you are planning to use a bike and you are only staying one night, let them know in advance because thay don't have them there, they need to go rent them somewhere else for you and this might take time.
Review 11:Very cosy maison d'hôtes. They were very helpful with everything. They gave us indications on how to arrive to Ait Ben Haddou. They showed us their house and particular hammam. Very authentic place and people. They also let us attend the celebration of a typical wedding which was very interesting. Lovely people :)
Review 12:It was nicely decorated but it was very hard to take in any kind of atmosphere as all the lights were kept off in the social areas!
Review 13:It was great value and we got a very warm welcome.
Review 14:- No airconditioning, which is highly recommended in the dessert. - Wifi was not available, just the owners laptop with slow internet - No pool available, like in the pictures. - Hamam is just a small closet, with more heat. - No view at Ait Benhaddou, you can walk there in an hour and get a sunstroke. - The host is nice, but he does charge you for a cup of tea, when he offers it. - We ate with the family, which was quite interesting, but food was charged just as much as the room. Ask for prices first.
Review 15:- It was very quiet, so if you want to rest, this is the place. You could get bored easily too. - You can really go back to basics here. For anyone who doesn't like luxury. - He built everything himself including the artwork.
Review 16:Great place to stay near Ait Ben Haddou. Beautiful nature and very friendly family!
Review 17:The very good dinner was maybe a litte bit expensive.
Review 18:Familiar atmosphere, good position, very nice owner.
Review 19:No Wifi in room or communal area, but Abdou did lend me his netbook with 3G.
Review 20:Great location and comfortable room. Interesting insights into traditional Berber household and life.
Review 21:A tranquille country family Berber setting but near enough to walk to Ait Ben Haddou, the Kasbah there. Great hospitality and fresh delicious food cooked in front of you. Can watch bread baked in Berber clay oven and help feed lambs. Very relaxing and fun.
