Review 1：The front Office staff think that they are doing a community service. Therefore they did not treat guests well. They must know that they are the first face of the Hotel.

Review 7：This is one of the few hotels that have a 240cm outdoor pool. Awesome. Has a in pool bar with good cocktails. The BBQ restaurant is a little bit expensive (660 Thai Baht per pax, 20 USD) but has a lot of options and the quality is very good. The room is quite old but quite big with good bed. Overhaul cleanliness is good. Smokers are most welcome here :) Staff, as usual, awesome.

Review 36：Very good location. The hotel has its private beach and is beautiful. The room is comfortable. Very beautiful and impressive sea view from the room. Buffet breakfast and private lunch at the hotel are delicious. Old style but classic hotel and room, with parquet floor and air con in wooden cubicle with temperature, music, clock, controller from the same console at the bed stand. Friendly front desk staff and bellboy. I came here when I was 4 or 5 and had my photos with this hotel, and after 30 years this time I came with my wife and son who is 4 years old, and it recalled me that time. In brief, all the things here are impressive, and I would definitely come back again.

Review 37：No WiFi in main areas or rooms. Not enough Sun beds considering the beautiful large gardens and pool area. People allowed to reserve Sun beds by leaving towels on them most of day. Do what I did and take them off.

Review 39：The moment you walk in, the aura from the staff is horribly unfriendly. I can't bear to give you the details but in summary, everything you asked for or request is always meted with frowned and irritations - from check-in till check-out time. When I needed wifi, there weren't any free wifi or a common computer or business centre for usage which I do not mind paying, however it is how they answer "no free, its chargeable" with a big irritation and their "are you an idiot for asking" look in their face. Worst was the experience upon check out, after 20mins of standing at the reception for check-out (no smile, no nothing, you'd be crazy to expect any acknowledgement) only to be told that they had received a call an hour ago that says my driver is not coming due to an accident and that I may proceed to speak to their concierge outside to arrange for transport. Any further question was met with, "I don't know, you go ask". At the concierge, they wanted to charge me USD 150 for a trip to Bangkok which normally cost about 1,300 baht (USD 40) with internet booking on a Toyota Camry (because they will not be using any hotel car, but a private car from his group of driver friends in the waiting area) I refuse, walked away and was screamed at "you don't know this is 5 star hotel, this hotel price" when he is obviously trying to con money out of us. Verdict: Unfriendly staff. Dirty & mouldy rooms, dark and poorly lit walkway. Don't ever stay in this hotel. Location and sea view is great, a shame but you can find many better ones. Even if they are more expensive, they will be much more of value than this hotel. Stay somewhere else, anywhere.

Review 40：This hotel is extremely old and falling apart. Please be nice to the staff as I could see that there was nothing they could do about the situation and they even looked embarrassed. Wifi in this hotel is at a cost of $50 a day and even though we paid for 6 nights we paid $40 a night for another hotel room as it was cheaper than staying there and buying wifi. The location is peaceful but note that even though you can see the beach it belongs to the hotel next door. Food was overpriced but we found 2 amazing places next door serving great food at half the price. JJ's and Cabbages and Condoms across the road is the place to go if you are stuck with this hotel. Do not take their taxis, JJ's across the road will rent you a car or bike for a fraction of the price of one trip. The manager there also booked us a tour to the Tiger/elephant resort for 300 baht instead of the hotels 2000 baht. Instead of feeling upset, I actually feel sorry for this place as you can see that it was once very nice

Review 42：well its far from the city center. secondly there is no wifi in the room. i could,nt believe when i asked about the wifi in the room they said they will charge me 400 baths per hour.(400 not 40/hour) you can check it if you go there. secondly it was the first hotel where i heard this that we will charge an extra 350 baths from you as booking.com commission. i have never heard this from any other hotel.There is no restaurant near the hotel and you cant find any taxi near the hotel for city center.only two or three taxis connected with hotel which can take you where you want to go but at triple rates.
