Reviews for Kasbah Isfoula
Review 1:I wish the manager could explained how he was going to charge us if we asked for two rooms. He suggested we could have another room for free since we were the only guests that night but we were charged. We didn't argue, thinking this might be a communication error. But any way, it would be nice if he could explain it clearly to us. The one suite is big and nice enough for a family of four anyway. Dinner was a little over priced, western fast food style.
Review 2:Breakfast, easy to find, great location. The manager is kind. We had cocktail and beer at night. Beautiful decoration and surroundings.
Review 3:One of the best hotels we've stayed in!! Amazing room, restaurant, location and views. Staff were very friendly and helped with anything needed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Review 4:The pool wasn't really usable as it wasn't heated and had a sort of soap scum on the top of it. You have to drive to Ait Ben Haddou - it's not walking distance.
Review 5:Restaurant was really delicious (if a little expensive), the small staff team were incredibly friendly and kind. The bed was super comfortable and peaceful. The Kasbah itself is very beautiful and a lovely place to be.
Review 6:The only problem I had (very little) was to find it since the location on booking.com was not adequate (you should pass the small village where the map showing this location and then the hotel is just before the bridge)
Review 7:everything (location, food, super friendly stuff, fantastic view from the terrace, quite area).
Review 8:A good place if you want to see Aït Benhaddou, which is really around the corner. Friendly staff, nice and simple food. The Kasbah is nicely decorated, although the rooms were quite simple.
Review 9:Great, clean, beautiful property away from the crowds. Great service from Abdil who attentively assisted and helped with all questions and queries, and arranged activities for us too. Friendly, warm, great atmosphere! Thank you!!!
Review 10:You feel like your sleeping in a small beautiful fort with a great view at the mountains. Best food we've had during our 1.5 week stay in Morocco (more choice than your traditional couscous, the chef is French), nice red wines and a cold beer, privacy and friendly owners. We were also the first people to try the new spa (just opened a day before). Great addition for a relaxed stay. Would recommend this place to anyone in a sec!
Review 11:Common areas not smoke free.
Review 12:Exquisitely beautiful, peaceful, isolated location. The lovely welcome. 5 star quality Restaurant. Designed to be a Morrocan experience, quite unique, like no other hotel of the many in which I have stayed.
Review 13:It's about 5 minutes further down the road from Ait Benhaddou but that's probably more of a plus then a minus. Just be aware you'll need to get there.
Review 14:Very cozy and nicely decorated. We would have loved to stay in a tower room but as we booked last minute we weren't that lucky. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot, and the food was excellent (breakfast and dinner). Best harira in Morocco!
Review 15:Nothing
Review 16:A few km away from the tourist centre of Ait Ben Haddou means it is peaceful. Smart and well equipped, also restaurant (with wine/beer) which made a nice change to choose your own food. So good we went back on our way back to Marrakech for another night
Review 17:A bit weird smell (probably because it had been raining a lot), shower water pressure very weak.
Review 18:Nice terrace and the view from it, good breakfast, easy to find.
Review 19:Everything about Kasbah Isfoula is excellent . Ait Benhaddou Valley. It is an oasis of peace and calm in the Ait Benhaddou Valley. The traditional design of the hotel by French owner Ben is unique. Each room is designed like a Kasbah tower, most being on the roof terraces, which again is traditional , and a great chill out area, looking out over a spectacular landscape. At night you can star gaze. Every feature in the hotel has been cleverly and thoughtfully designed and built by Ben. The restuarant and bar area is very stylish and relaxed mix of Moroccan and French Then there is Alex, a French chef, who is outstanding. He sources local produce to cook his interpretation of Moroccan cuisine, with lashings of chilled out music, his other passion. I stayed here just one night during my one month motorbike adventure in Morocco ...I wish I could have stayed longer! I will return to this amazing place . I highly recommend this fantastic hotel to anyone travelling in this fantastic area of Morocco. You will not be disappointed .

Review 36:The non ac room needs a fan.
Review 37:Great location, just a few kms from Ait Ben Haddou. The food was excellent and everything including the ice creams were home made. They also have a great bar. The owners and staff are very friendly and eventhough communicating in english was a bit of a problem, they made sure that we were comfortable.
Review 38:Wonderful location. Beautifully decorated. Amazing terrace. Friendly staff (they should improve their English! Although Europeans, French I think, we had the most difficult communication during our travel.). Don't forget to mention the tasty food, with vegetarian dishes also!
Review 39:This is one of rare hotels which are run because of passion. I could not imagine a hotel which architecture, design and atmosphere better fits the local environment and at the same time provide very comfortable conditions for a pleasant stay. I strongly recommend it to anyone who plans to stay for night in the neighbourhood of Ait Ben Haddou, as it was definitely the best hotel we had during our trip accross Morocco, if not one of the best hotels I have ever had occassion to stay in.
