Review 4:The owners (Mohammed and Rose) are gems!!!! They make your stay very special. Our room was clean, big and very comfortabel. The restaurant is the best in Ait Ben Haddou. Mohammed made us an excellent breakfast for take-away because we had to leave very early. I would highly recommend this place. It was our 3rd time staying here and we'll be back!!! Thank you very much for making our stay so special.
Review 5:The shower could have had more power. Stronger towel holder ;-)
Review 6:Very nice and funny owner who took his time to give us many tipps for our entire holiday route. The restaurant with heaters is cosy, good food as well. Nice and clean rooms. Perfect location if you want to visit Ait Benhaddou.
Review 7:Rose and Mohammed were amazing hosts. Handy location close to the Kasbah. Rooms were simple but comfortable. Rooms further from the entrance were a bit quieter.
Review 8:The food was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and showed us the way to Hait ben Haddou and even made nice suggestions for a walk to a little source. Very friendly.
Review 9:Everithing in this hotel is perfect! Owner Mohammed is very nice and assistant to plane trips around village. Hotel is clean and quiet. Food is amazing!
Review 10:Breakfast was very nice, but dinner was disappointing.
Review 11:Nicely located, very helpful advice from the owners on how to get to the ksar without getting swindled, and a nice room.
Review 12:It was such an amazing accomodation. Mohammed and his team supported us with everthing we needed, especially Mohammed spend lot of time organizing our next steps and optimizing our trip. Just awesome!
Review 13:Owners go beyond their way to be helpful. Food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Located just behind the Kasbah. Beautiful rooms. Just great!
Review 14:The shower head in our room, number 5, could not be fixated, which made showering a little more difficult
Review 15:The owner is extremely joyful and friendly. He is always in for a joke and always wiling to help. He also gives very good advice on a walk to a spring and how to enter the kasbah cheaply.
Review 16:Nothing!!
Review 17:We spent 2 nights at Bagdad Café and we loved it! Mohammed and Rose are lovely people! Mohammed gave us great tips about visiting the Ksar and the Oasis Fint. Breakfast and diner were both fantastic. Rooms spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Best hotel we visited during our roundtrip in Morocco!!
Review 18:The hotel is very close the the famous Ait Benhaddou. The owner is very friendly and gives a lot of tips. The restaurant offers a good breakfast and dinner.
Review 19:Perfect location, your host draws you the best map where to go and what to see. Very good breakfast and dinner, friendly hosts speaking French and English.
Review 20:The best place to stay in Morocco! The owner who spoke perfect English was friendly and helpful all the time. He greeted us with tea and home made pastry and explained us what to see in Ait Benhaddou. The room was big and beautiful decorated with perfect chromatic. The bathroom was nice and we had a shampoo with Argan oil. We served diner here and it was delicious (one of the best Tajina ever with lamb, plums and figs). The breakfast was sweet, good and filing. The WiFi signal was very good.
Review 21:Everything. This was a great example of how tourism should be made. The hosts seemed to be born for this business, everything they did and said was meant to serve the guests to feel good. They cooked a meal at our request even if in the middle of the afternoon outside lunch hours and it was delicious.
Review 22:Mohammed and Rose were fantastic, so helpful and full of tips on what to do in the area. They and all the staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional. Excellent food, clean and comfortable rooms. I'd recommend Bagdad Cafe to anyone!
Review 23:Broken shower A little dark room
Review 24:Really nice hosts Good pool and nice arrangement around it Diner tasted great Wide and helpful description of the sorroundings by the host
Review 25:The owners are very helpfull, great hospitality!!! Good price/quality and very good location to stay for one day and visit the kasbah and film studios. p.s. If you come by car take take the beautifull road from Ait Ben-haddou to Telouet to reach Marakesh.
Review 26:Rose was a lovely host, she welcomed us, gave us some local tips, suggested a play for our stay and was kind and easy to talk to. Her husband is very lucky to have her and the effort she puts in mothering 3 children and working full time :)
Review 27:The staff gave us warm welcome with Moroccan tea and tipical sweets. We have spent there 2 nights and enjoyed 2 abundant breakfasts (mixed French & Moroccan - we were happy to eat omelette) and 2 delicious dinners. Cuisine in the hotel is really fantastic - a three-course meal. You can enjoy also wine and beer together with the dinner. The owners and the staff are very nice and friendly. Beeing on road trip around Morocco, hotel owner gave us several useful recommendations where to go what to see and what to avoid. Thank you very much for that. The hotel is small, private and rooms are lovely decorated. There is a swimming pool with pleasure chilly water. Nice refreshment after the long sunny days. We spent nice time there.
Review 28:The host Mohammed and his wife do everything they can to make your stay perfect. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the facilities with the pool a very nice plus, and the food amazing. Mohammed took us on a walk into the desert, which was a great experience. As they only have 6 rooms it is very cosy and they have full attention for all their guests.
Review 29:Owner is very nice, gave us a map and some advice on visiting Ait Ben Haddou, great staff, spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable, restaurant was excellent.
Review 30:Everything! Such a wonderful experience and we felt so looked after during our stay. Mohammed and Rose went above and beyond, even arranged to have our motorcycle tyre fixed in the town nearby.
Review 31:Cafe Baghdad is a very short walk from the kasbah, which makes its location primo, but everything about it was without flaw - the room, the dining room, the delicious tagine, the outside areas and, especially, the gracious host, Mohammed.
Review 32:The hosts, Rose and her husband really made my stay memorable, they were so very helpful and knowledgeable. They also managed to answer all of my questions and meet my requirements regarding arranging trips and visits in the local area - and in doing so they 'exceeded all of my expectations' Thanks very much.
Review 33:The bed was a bit to hard for me. The swimming pool looked not so attractive.
Review 34:Very friendly welcome with tea and Marocaine biscuits, good tips to visit, excellent breakfast with a lot of variety, good dinner. Nice outdoor sitting area. We stayed in a family room. The room was very clean and met our expectations. Located at the entrance of the site of Ait Ben Hadou.
Review 35:Absolutely nothing!
Review 36:The tagine that we ordered for dinner ( with only an hour's notice) was perhaps the best tagine we have had in Morocco. Thank you Mohammed! The breakfasts were excellent too.
Review 37:The dinner was nothing special, the tagines were bland. I' wish they had something savoury for breakfast, and not just bread and jams (although there was egg as well).
Review 38:A lovely hotel owned by a friendly French-Morrocan couple. The room was spacious and eco-friendly (with solar-panels and bamboo ceiling and furniture). It's just 5min walk from Ait Benhaddou kasbah.
Review 39:Nothing.
Review 40:Everything. The room was big and super clean. Loverly decorated. The owner Mohammed is a gem! Dinner was very good. We highly recommend this place.
Review 41:The hotel is stunning with beautiful traditional decor, and the hosts were amazing - very friendly but also relaxed and gave great recommendations. The room was huge and had everything we needed. The hotel is walking distance from Ben Ait Haddou and easy to find. I highly recommend it, it was our favourite place in Morocco!
Review 42:Didn't get the impression that the owners understood that not everyone wants a hire car or motor home in Morocco. We wanted to follow a more unusual route and have an adventure, and they made it sound unfeasible. We did it anyway and had no problems; a fab walk from Anmiter to Telouet, a great visit to the Kasbah, before returning to Marrakech.
Review 43:The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and food was nice. The beer was great!
Review 44:its almost perfect, the wifi in the room could work better other than that flawless.
Review 45:the Loacation is away from the city, but this is much Much better than the city! Fantastic owner and a fantastic Nature experience.
Review 46:Gracefully handled a collection of 6 tired travellers and one surf board. Wonderful host, delightful breakfast and definetely one to recommend to friends and family.
Review 47:Nothing to complain
Review 48:Its a great pleace to stay, Mohammed and his wife are so friendly they really care about their guess. They helped us a lot and suggested place to visit in our trip. Regarding the food very delicious and the room so confortable the albergue is very well located, if you are loking for good place to stay near de ait ben haddou I recommend u Bagdag cafe
Review 49:Lack of attention to details. Unfortunately, we did not have running water in our rooms when we checked in and after complaining, the host turned on the water supply. Then we didn't have hot showers as the solar panels didn't work. Disappointing stay. The pizzas were overpriced and atrocious.
Review 50:The owner was very friendly and the rooms were nicely decorated.
Review 51:Mohammed, the owner of the Bagdad Cafe, has been far beyond expected, providing a warm welcome, assistance and a lot of useful advice. The BC is very well placed, next to the parking to access the kasbah of the village. Just 5 minuts, you cross the river and you are accessing the Kasbah. Our room (chamber 6) was big and comfortable, with good wi-fi (a plus in Morocco) and a bed king-size. Breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality -and beers can be found, also not so common in other accomodations. There is a nice swimming-pool, but since we have been in full winter, this was decorative. An excellent recommendation to visit Ait Ben Haddou.
Review 52:We were greeted as friends and treated so well, we could have stayed forever. The rooms are clean and have everything you need (just wait for the hot water, it will come and when it does it is hot and powerful - solar power system). They serve beer and wine with dinner, which is a good standard with everything you expect on a Moroccan menu. All the guests are friendly, which I think is because the hotel is a haven of calm and happiness in the hustle and bustle of this tourist destination.
Review 53:nothing! (-:
Review 54:We loved the warm hospitality of Mohammed who really looked after us during a short stay there. It was Christmas eve and travelling with your kids... We felt like at home. The hotel is spacious, has a lovely swimming pool in the centre, and has got just a few rooms around it which makes you feel very privileged. The food was great and we could sample some Moroccan wine for dinner!! It was nice to hear the stories about the café! Thanks Mohammed for your hospitality.
Review 55:Nothing! Everything was great!
Review 56:location to the kasbah was great. The rooms and the riad in general were clean and pleasant. The owner was very helpful and gave us good advice and directions. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and service excellent.
Review 57:Beds were a little too hard but otherwise the rooms were basic, clean, and suited us just fine.
Review 58:The owner (we only met the husband) is welcoming, warm and extremely knowledgeable about the area as he grew up in the town. He speaks multiple languages well. The breakfast was fantastic. The lounge/dining area was very inviting and we met travelers from other guesthouses who came to the cafe to eat and hang out. We were there in winter and the heat worked well. We loved our night there and recommended the guesthouse to other travelers we met later on our trip.
Review 59:Easy to find and owner Mr. Mohammad gave us a very nice and clean room for three of us. He was very informative and helpful with planning our next visit.Furthermore, dinner he made, claasic Moroccan "tajine" with soup was excellent. Next morning real good breakfast which was included in price of our stay. Carparking was free of charge and absolutely safe. Next day he advised us how to explore Ait Ben Hadou fortress. On foot only ten minutes away, no need to go by car. We can highly recommend "Bagdad cafe" to anyone, Mohammed was the best host we met in Morocco.
Review 60:Lovely little kasbah with great owner! Thank you Mahomed for the treatment you have us, we felt very welcomed and taken care of!!! Definitely recommend the place to everyone!
Review 61:Hotel Bagdad is an excellent hotel for a one night stop to check out Ait Ben Haddou. We arrived an hour or so before sunset and armed with a hand-drawn map and some simple but straightforward tips from Mohamed (as well as a belly full of mint tea and some good conversation) we headed up for a magical sunset on top of Ait Ben Haddou. We ate dinner at the hotel (with others from surrounding hotels, it seemed) and enjoyed delicious and reasonably-priced tagines and a dessert of orange and cinnamon. Quality of sleep was good. The rooms are simple, but spacious and quiet. Breakfast was varied and eggs cooked any way offered, which was a nice touch.
Review 62:Nothing I can remember, the beds are a bit on the harder side, but Iguess that is depending on what you are used to... Enjoy and don'thesitate to book your stay here
Review 63:The room for four was colourful and sufficient for our needs with anefficient ac as well as good bathroom facilities, welcoming hosts, closeto the ksar (kashbah); both the welcoming tea, dinner and breakfast werevery nice - good value for your money
Review 64:Mohammed and his wife are very friendly and open minded hosts of on Bagdad cafe inspired guesthouse. The rooms are simple but nice, eco friendly and there's a swimming pool. The food is simple but good. We stayed here for one night for visiting Ait ben haddou and would recommend everyone to stay here! Not only for the kasbah but especially for the hospitality. Mohammed took all time to look at our Honeymoon trip plan and gave us a lot of great tips we've really enjoyed! So thanks Mohammed and happy birthday (8th october)!!!
Review 65:Water and electricity went off but this was due to some small rain. No fault of our hosts.
Review 66:Beautiful property well located on the main street (easy to find). An inner courtyard with a big swimming pool is a great place to relax. Each room has an outdoor seating area facing the courtyard and pool. Here we were warmly welcomed with moroccan tea and pastries. Our hosts were very inviting and friendly. The best part of staying here was the food. Dinner was FANTASTIC and we could also get wine and beer with our meal. We were only here for a night but certainly wished we had made it at least two nights. Beautiful location!
Review 67:There is nothing that could be done to improve the experience
Review 68:Everything especially the host! Great food. Lovely to have a pool to cool off in after a long drive.
Review 69:The owners were very welcoming, warm and nice. All stay they paid a lot of attention to all small details and it made our stay very pleasant. I would recommend this place as the best in Ait benhaddou.
Review 70:nothing to dislike about this hotel
Review 71:Would highly recommend this ambient, comfortable and very conveniently located little hotel based almost on the Ksar's doorstep. Brilliant value for money, offering pristinely clean and simple tastefully decorated rooms surrounding a central courtyard and swimming pool, this layout creating quite a cosy and sociable atmosphere with comfortable seating/sofa provided outside each room within the central courtyard. Most memorable aspect of our stay however had to be the warm, attentive and highly hospitable couple who own and run this hotel, Mohammed and Rose. They prove a lovely pair, chatty, personable, full of useful advice and tips, and in my opinion the perfect hosts. Food was also delicious and plentiful, and in short, I would thoroughly recommend this family friendly hotel considering it a little treasure of a find.
Review 72:Staff is very benevolent, helpful, courteous. Breakfast and dinner tasty.
Review 73:Location, breakfast, kind and helpful owner
Review 74:Owner is definitely the gem of this place. Everything else was great too, but his hospitality is unremarkable and genuine.
Review 75:Awesome location right next to Ait Ben Haddou. Wonderful hospitality from Mohammad and Rose, nice rooms and delicious food!!
