Reviews for Riad Maktoub
Review 1:The water for showering was a little salty and the water was really small which made it slightly harder to shower.
Review 2:The room was really interesting and spacious.
Review 3:Rooms were really spacious, cosy and authentically decorated. Our room were overlooking the kasbah. The interior of the riad is really beautiful, the swimming pool is nice, the flowers, the plants are amazing. Everything were perfect!!!
Review 4:Tap water has some weird properties (however, it is an arid region in the early summr and water is a luxury by itself). It leaves the skin very dry when bathing or toothbrushing.
Review 5:Great location and views, courteous staff (who waited until our arrival at around 1:30 am), beautiful indoor decorations and pool. Very spacious rooms with additional sofa beds allowing our group of three to sleep in separated sections of the room.
Review 6:We visited in January: the bedroom and dining room were icy cold and the heaters didn't work. It might be more enjoyable in warmer weather... The architecture was interesting.
Review 7:The service of the stuff and the cleanliness of the place is worth a *****. We didn't expect such a good service in a tiny place as Ait Ben Haddou at all and we are more satisfied. The manager of the hostel and all his stuff are helpful in everything you might need and we - travelling with small children - needed a lot... Every room is designed in a different way and all of them are unique, pretty and cozy.
Review 8:Don't rely on the internet working. As this was a bigger riad than other ones we had been to, there was a large group of teenagers, who were not too loud, but naturally meant that it wasn't as relaxing as smaller riads we had been too.
Review 9:The atmosphere in this riad hits you as you walk in...it has a sense of peace and relaxation. The view of Ait Benhaddou is great from the terrace. The breakfast was also one of the best we had in Morocco - with eggs and a choice of things to eat.
Review 10:Bathroom is very small and poor, diner was inside and the diningroom was very hot and not air-conditioned. The food was ok but common.
Review 11:Rooms very spacious, breakfast ok. Very friendly staff, nice "look & feel". One of our daughters had her anniversary during our stay and they ordered a very nice cake which they did not charge.
Review 12:Excellent location with just a short walk to the ruins. Good breakfasts and evening meals. Good sized pool given that it is within the building, friendly staff.
