Review 15：“Medieval style” with old and dusty carpet floor and no air-condition. After 5 minutes, all family started to cough and have allergy snot. Matrasses and pillows are very cheap and uncomfortable. Rooms faces private houses with dogs burking the whole night.

Review 22：This is a fabulous hotel based in the centre of the Citadel. It is beautifully appointed and full of character. The staff are amazingly friendly and dedicated. The restaurant is superb, the waiters very knowledgeable. We took friends to the hotel who had never been to Romania before. They were blown away. We will be staying there again.

Review 27：Top floor rooms are hot and dark (small high windows). I had the free-standing fan on at all times. No mirrors at all. Poor lighting. Dark hallways. The hallway very dark. No English news channel on TV. The restaurant was soso and music too loud. Breakfast was inferior -- no fruit, bad coffee. No access to the fortress wall to go for a walk. Very little or no English spoken by staff. No change and no city maps.

Review 30：On the expensive side, I must say, for any hotel in the middle of Romania. And a lot of the planned/promised facilities were closed or not yet finished, which could've motivated them to keep prices down a bit for now.
Review 31：Magic looking place in a magic setting. Couldn't have asked for a more fairy tale experience. The restaurant was equally excellent and kept up the medieval atmosphere. Staff in castle costumes and the red carpet made us feel even more like royalty. The breakfast room was a dream, with gorgeous view of the crisp white snowy landscape outside.

Review 41：Medieval Hotel is not a 5 star hotel. They have problems with the hot water... In 3 days that we spent there they didn't solve this issue. We found that this problem was for every room in the hotel.. The food: We ordered an ordinary rice with truffles and they brought us uncooked rice... You get the same menu for breakfast everyday..
Review 42：The location is awesome full of history. You'll not get bored in 2-3 days. First you'll have to check the schedule of the main activities to get most of the shows. Cannon volleys are breathtaking... as well as the basement tour. You'll find there the location where Knights Templar meet.

Review 45：The quality of the food needs to be upgraded for a 5 stars. The quantity of the food served needs to be reduced, it looks like home food. The time between each dish and the bill needs to be reviewed. 45 minutes however the reason, it's not good for a 5 star hotel.
Review 46：The outlook of the Hotel. The bedroom had fantastic features. The location. You feel like leaving in a small medieval city. The breakfast is nice and simple. The staff are great, always smiling and very helpful.
Review 47：Its not possible to have aircool in the rooms due to the thickness of the walls,plus the building is protected so its very warm at night making it difficult to get a good nights sleep and there are no ventilators either.Sleep with windows open and it can get very loud and wake you early in morning due to other noisy guests.

Review 93：We made a reservation for a certain kind of rooms and we received something else. The food in the restaurant was terrible: my salad was so old I fear it was recycled, someone else's steak was also old and difficult to eat, one of the glasses from the table was dirty, with traces of lipstick. The restaurant was empty, the waiter was not busy at all but he never attend our table - even when we wanted to pay we had to wait a long time. It was an unpleasant experience - definitely not 5 star services! It is a pity - the hotel have a huge potential.

Review 103：Very poor breakfast, cheap juice; the WC was leaking; the bed was not comfortable, the sheets were abrasive; the radiator in the room kept making noises even after we turned off the heat and this was disturbing at night; small window and small TV vs. room size; the rooms had no AC, no mosquito nets. Despite the fact that there were only a few rooms booked in the hotel, the staff gave a room to someone just above our room and many noises could be heard, considering also the wooden floors and ceilings. When we checked-out, the receptionist was not at all communicative and we had to wait for 10 minutes until she had the rest of the money.

We waited for this episode something like 10 minutes till someone got in to the room to confirmed... - we wanted to take our dinner outside in the garden, as we saw other people there eating and a table was free and not reserved and the waitress refused us and meant that the others made before a reservation, respectively they don't are allowed to serve the dinner out there and this is also not optimal for them as personal.
