Reviews for Hotel Belvedere
Review 1:If I have to write something here, I think that cloakroom and pool needs maintenance...
Review 2:Great hotel! My husband asked me, if he is Macaulay Culkin in Home alone 2 lost in New York :D Really, there is a lot of possibilities what to do, if it is raining - bowling, golf, billiard, bar, fitness, spa, pool, restaurants,... The highlight of food was breakfast - amazing! And I had the best AYURVEDA massage ever! :) Tatras behind the balcony, Krupowki street 10 minutes by feet :)
Review 3:To short stay and we booked already next year and can't wait for it :)
Review 4:Great swimming pool area and other hotel facilities, very good breakfast, great food especially ''trout tartare with beer paulaner'' and great view in top restaurant, everywhere close from the hotel, I travel often in Europe and this is one of my favourite hotel now :)
Review 5:No tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Review 6:Very friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable, upon arrival we requested different room as ours had bad smell of clening detergents and was worried about our 2month baby, within minutes we have been escorted to 3 rooms for us to choose from. Was offerred small baby bath and kettle as well.
Review 7:the hotel charges for ice if you want some in your room. the only hotel I've come across to charge for frozen water.. the other thing-lack of air con in all rooms- its not a problem in the winter but we were there in summer with some really hot days
Review 8:The breakfast was amazing-freshly baked yeast cakes and baked cheesecakes- the best we've ever had! and freshly squeezed carrot juice just added to that..the only thing-lack of fresh fruit during the best fresh fruit season. Instead we had dry oranges and tasteless watermelon and apples - while there was an abundance of fresh peaches, cherries, pears and raspberries to name a few. Very comfy beds, polite staff where nothing was too much trouble.
Review 9:some staff could have beenmore pleasant.breakfast staff were more obliging.although quiet was a long walk to town.noindividual toiletries provided.
Review 10:plenty of places to relax in hotel,good pool,bowling,wellness spa.Braekfast good,served until11a.m.,
Review 11:Had 1 spa service that was quite nice, however we had another 2 spa services that were substandard. Would have appreciated free parking with the prices we paid for the rooms.
Review 12:Really enjoyed the pool, sauna & spa area. Offered a good breakfast. Upstairs restaurant was charming. nice to have a kids' playroom. Staff was generally friendly & helpful.
Review 13:Don't expect a friendly smile or greeting by any of the staff. But that's a Polish culture thing rather than a blight on the Hotel. Also WIFI was only available in lobby
Review 14:Breakfast, big comfortable rooms, great pool with sauna, steam room etc.. and nice public areas.
Review 15:hard pillows :)
Review 16:food, food, food, interior design of the hotel (modern and old fashion Polish charm), SPA & water center to relax, very nice helpfull staff and their hospitality... great value for money, beatifull memories...
Review 17:None of the rooms have a bath, despite booking.com's advert. Very few power-points (unless you move their furniture and unplug tv or radio).
Review 18:Very friendly to all ages, very good location for walkers, and being some way from the town centre it is quiet. Several good restaurants in the hotel means eating out not necessary.
Review 19:Dinner shoud be better (no panga as the fish, no lower category of sausages and ham for the breakfast.
Review 20:Big room, nice interior, polite staff, nice, calm location
Review 21:No air conditioning but we left window open and that did the trick. Building work was in progress but it did not disturb us Thank Goodness!
Review 22:All the facilities, staff, room, activities ...everything. Great value for money!
Review 23:A very enjoyable stay.a map with alllocal walks and length would have been helpful . Also in english ? Also some kind of entertainment within music after dinner would be nice the hotel is gared very much for families . Thanks

Review 39:Location , facilities ,service
Review 40:Could do with a little modernising, rooms and reception were a little old-fashioned
Review 41:We had to leave earlier than expected but there was no fuss made about refund of monies paid up-front
Review 42:Great location for walking in the mountains and not far from krupowki too. Lovely view from room of Giewont. Comfortable hotel room, good pool and good food.
Review 43:Would have likeca kettle and tra & coffee making facilitiy in room at no extra charge.
Review 44:Liked all, great facilities and choice of resaurants within the hotel as well as being as close as possible to mountain slopes and forest.
Review 45:Rooms are spacious, swimming pool is big enough to really swim, a lot of choice for food at breakfast, a small sport center, two bowlings alleys and billards.
Review 46:We were there in mid august and the hotel, and the town -was full of families with children. In future we would avoid school holidays. Noise was an issue as the rooms are not airconditioned so need to leave windows opened at night but it would not be an issue in winter.
Review 47:Excellent facilities. Excellent breakfast. Good location out of the middle of the town but not too far to walk there.
Review 48:My family and I had an awesome time at Belvedare Hotel and Zakopane. The hotel is perfectly situated on the way to a beautiful hiking in the Dolina Bailago, has awesome views towards Giewont Mountain especially from where we were staying, room #206 with beautiful large terrace. Staff was great and breakfast and supper which was included in our room charge was bountiful, delicious and beautifully presented!! Cant wait to go back there in winter season!!
Review 49:Last 2 days I got food poison from the hotel restaurant. Salads beenold, and one pickled fish with sour cream was not kept with propertemperature and looks like head chef did not heard about haccp before.I been suffering for five days now. Make sure food is fresh beforeeating it.
Review 50:Really nice and cheap bowling area, 12 minutes of walk to Krupowkistreet, lovely swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi. In one word this hotel isperfect for family's with kids.
Review 51:Looked slightly dated, room we were in could do with a new /nicer carpet.
Review 52:Liked the hotel overall, breakfast was amazing. Staff were nice and helpful. Location was good.
Review 53:The room is a little bit small, the double bed was extremely small, and uncomfortable!
Review 54:The hotel location is amazing, the kitchen is excellent, the staff so friendly, we can recommend this place to everyone, who wants to take some rest in the mountain, or hiking.
Review 55:The hotel was marketing to families for a all-inclusive vacations. Lots of kids and dogs. Pool could be really busy at times.
Review 56:Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet large and all items were delicious. Swimming pool/spa big plus for two "mature" travelers.
Review 57:Only one lift a little 10 mins walk from town (not really an issue)
Review 58:Clean, large room, helpful staff, excellent pool, Breakfast bery good spread. Dinner in restaurant excelent.
Review 59:1. Payment for car park ???? 2. No bellboy. 3. No easy access to rooms with trolleys. Not to mention disabled. 4. No animation for children. 5. My room was billed for laundry which I didn't order. And no reasonable explanation at check out was provided.
Review 60:I liked 1. the location, 2. swimming pool, 3. lobby bar, 4. helpful staff at the reception desk.
Review 61:the standard rooms are not 4 star quality, very much in need of re-decorating
Review 62:the hotel was very nice from the outside and inside your room was not 4 star quality, but they were very kind and gave us an up-grade at no extra cost
Review 63:One person in our large group was a wheel-chair bound adult. Thisaccentuated the difficulties described below.Access in the hotel was good providing the main lift was working. We came across it twice when it was out of order. There was a second lift but it was out of the way and the door to enter or leave the hotel next to the lift was locked and we had to ask for the key at reception. The second lift didn't go down to the pool either, so we could have been stuck down there. The wetroom in the bedroom shared by the disabled adult was good but we did have to ask for a shower-chair and got a plastic garden chair (ie. no wheels) so he had to transfer to his wheelchair to get to his bed to dress. Also, there was not sufficient floor-space in the room for manoeuvring the wheelchair (especially with three people sharing the room and little storage for cases). Also, the pool was not accessible for wheelchairs and we had to lift the disabled adult out of his chair across a foot-bath to get him to pool-side. We were very impressed by the Hotel Belvedere on other counts, but seriously disappointed about the lack of attention to the needs of the disabled, especially as advance notice of special needs had been communicated at the time of booking.
Review 64:For someone paying in £ sterling, Hotel Belvedere represents excellentValue for Money, in terms of overnight rates, facilities, food anddrink prices.
Review 65:the staff were shockingly lazy and very dull, in the bar/games room you had to ask them if it was OK if they stopped watching the television which was on the wall at the end of the bar just for 2 minutes and if you could be served. When we checked in there was no option to pay via a different bank card as my credit charge was only meant to be used as a guarantee as I wanted to pay from a different card but they had already taken the money on my arrival without asking me if I wanted to pay by any other means and all drinks and food had to be charged again on departure. the hotel advertises that they are only 10 minutes from the town centre yet it took us a good 20 minutes to walk quickly. the hotel advertises that they have 3 restaurants and yet when we arrived we were told that there was only one restaurant open. the price of some drinks in the bar were extortionate
Review 66:No air-conditioning; no kettle in room; refused to find a fan for an over-hot baby!!! No baths in rooms, only showers (despite what was listed on booking.com)!
Review 67:Exceptionally vast and varied breakfasts, most of the staff helpful; very friendly to children
Review 68:Room was not Cleaned properly during or stay. This was the only fault
Review 69:Very romantic with beautiful views of the mountain. The hotel setting was incredible- having a drink on the roof terrace over the mountains was unforgettable.
Review 70:No spare electric points you had to unplug tv, fridge or light to beable to use a socket to charge your phone, could do with another socketin the room, only a small gripe.
Review 71:Very nice hotel, the staff are friendly and speak good English, we eatin the restraunt the meals were good quality and good value. Plenty ofparking over and under ground. A five minute walk to the center ofZakopane, all good
Review 72:Unfortunately we didn't get to use the swimming pool but would have been put off slightly by other guests being able to watch from the bar area. Not a big problem though. We chose the Hotel for its facilities, but unfortunately hadn't really time to use them on this occasion.
Review 73:Check-in was very fast and simple. We had a beautiful mountain view from our room and it was nice and airy. For the first time in all our travels the air conditioning worked! And alternatively when we had a wet day - the heating worked - all at the touch of a swith. The heated towel rail was brilliant. The beds were soooo comfortable. The breakfast was really good and we appreciated the availability of packed lunch which you could choose yourself at a very low cost. The location was super - just a short walk into town. Lovely wee bar that served coffee or tea until midnight, which is great after a late night stroll. I enjoyed watching the antics of the turtles and fish - it was somewhat different than a normal fishtank and very interesting. The fire in the Reception was very welcoming on one of the wet days. Reception ordered a taxi very quickly and they were very reasonably priced. Overall - we were very happy with the Hotel - perfect choice.
Review 74:no tea or coffee in the room, i would have paid extra for that so if you need a cup first thing in the morning you have to call room service, app £6 a go thomas jeffrey
Review 75:everything about the hotel was first class, the breakfast was outstanding, a choice of hot and cold or both if you wanted, overall a very high standard, and would return. thomas jeffrey
Review 76:We could get lost in the tortuous passages.
Review 77:Lovely views; good restaurant.
Review 78:very thin walls in hotel, you hear neighbours or noises from the sports club
