Review 10：This place does not get off to a good start as it is slightly out of town and at the bottom of a bit of a miserable road if dark. That road also seems to be a bit of a race track at night. The hotel does not help itself as it is not very obvious where the front door is, strange that may sound. The main reason for going to a badly placed Hotel is to get a night 's sleep and the bedding seem to be the cheapest plastic filled pillows and duvet is this just meant that you were sweating throughout the night until you threw off the duvet to then put it on again 10 minutes later. The room was pretty tasteless and it has been a while since I've seen cork tiles being used as a feature other than on a floor. The view from the window is simply of other people's bedroom windows, The mirrored ceiling in the bedroom simply denoted that this hotel is probably used for other types of guests as well. As if the bed been poor enough,the staff started vacuuming at 7:45 AM on Sunday morning. Great lack of power points in the room.

Review 12：I asked for a no-smoking room. The room I got was clean, nice, and I could not feel any smell. Anyway, I realized that the room had an ashtray and it was Not marked as "no-smoking" room (the room across the corridor did have a sign). I just wonder why I got a room for smokers even though I chose No-smoking room and added a comment through booking.com.

Review 14：If something is broke in your room, and it's a weekend , good luck at getting it fixed. The shower door was broken the entire stay. Reception told us that they don't have anyone during the wknd to fix mechanical problems. That's not a 4 star hotel answer

Review 16：The quality/price ratio is low. We asked for a large double bad and we got two singles joined together. There is little attention to detail, particularly in the bathroom and especially regarding the shower. Breakfast could be more diverse for the money. And it is served in the basement in a restaurant that could use some more fresh air. The desk in the room is very narrow; difficult to finish the late work on the computer.

Review 17：The free parking in a crowded central area was definitely a plus. The location is convenient, close to both the city center and the university conference halls. High speed internet everywhere was also a plus. Spacious rooms and a nice elevator.

Review 20：Loved the modern look and feel of the hotel. Loved the only room on the 6th floor with ceiling windows and large balcony. Breakfast was very good. The elevator with lights and music is a nice touch.

Review 25：The breakfast became a little repetitive after a week of eating it but it was still good food. The view from the hotel room wasn't fantastic but the location made up for it. And with snow falling, it didn't matter what you looked at because it all looked beautiful!

Review 26：We visited this hotel for our honeymoon and after a couple of hours it really felt like home. The staff were so friendly and willing to help in any way they could. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk into the old town through some lovely parks which makes it very convenient although there are shops over the road for everyday items. We ate in the restaurant on several occasions and the food was fantastic at great prices. Cocktails, drinks, coffee.. All great! We paid a little extra for the room as it was a special occasion and had a suite but it was luxurious. Lots of room, a jacuzzi bath that worked and was a wonderful way to relax. The hotel organised a day trip for us with a local taxi company that took us out for the whole day touring different sites. Brilliant!

Review 27：Not really a negative issues - but our bathroom had one of those large tubs with jets & everything; we wanted to just take a quick shower but it splashed some water around, which wasn't that bad, but a bit unpleasant; shower head wasn't the best either.

Review 28：The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from city center, park, restaurants - everything! The hotel has a free private parking that is monitored 24/7. We had a suite which was really clean and comfy, large bed, nice TV, clean bathroom. Breakfast area is maybe a bit small, but wasn't crowded; food selection is limited, but enough for a consistent meal.

Review 37：-when I did the check in I had to ask myself all the questions instead of being given the information (I had to ask about wifi, about th spa, about the breakfast) -as I arrived earlier and the room wasn't ready, I just left the luggage at the reception. When I came back to get my room in the evening, the luggage was still at the reception while I was expencted to have it brought in the room -as I was a single traveller, I had a mirror on the ceiling above my bed. I found it really bad taste. -breakfast was very poor for one who doesn't eat meat nor cheese (didn't appreciate it much). While the room for breakfast has no windows -in all, it doesn't look like a 4 star hotel but rather 3 and I would definitelly not go back nor recommend it

Review 38：Booking.com had promised us a very early check-in, 6am instead of 2pm.Miscommunication between hotel staff and booking.com led to us standingthere at 6am without a room, after 12h on the road. The Ambient staffoffered us another room and promised to solve the problem during theday. It ended up with both booking.com and Ambient offering us the"extra night" without extra costs. Ambient manager was verynice and emailed us the info during the day.

Review 40：I would give 3 stars with a lot of generosity. I was only at the end of the stay informed that the baby park will be additionally 10 EUR charged. The hydro-massage bathtub was not properly cleaned, when used mud and old hairs started to come up on the hydro-massage pipes. No room service after 23.00. The staff not so friendly. During the breakfast, there were 4 staff people chatting and nobody offered to serve the drinks even if there were only 2-3 tables occupied.

Review 107：A very modern hotel in a historical city, with a warm ambiance and helpful staff. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a beautiful view of the city (opted for a duplex on the last floor). The parking lot is spacious and the staff can reserve a parking space for you. The breakfast was various and very good!

Review 108：The lift wasnt working and we had to climb the stairs with our suyycases. Nobody asked to help us, they were sitting quietly in the reception. At check out day, even if the hotel wasnt fully booked, we were called many times from reception and by housekeeping on the door.

Review 113：The hotel has its fitness and spa/sauna facilities accessed via aconference room. We wanted to access the fitness/sauna/spafacilities on the Saturday afternoon of our stay. The particularconference room was in use at the time and we were told that we were notable to use the fitness/spa/sauna facilities until 9pm thatnight! As far as we were concerned this was unacceptable given that itwas a 4* hotel, that we were guests and should be able to access suchfacilities as and when we want, and because we chose this hotel becauseof its fitness/spa/sauna facilities. An argument ensued after Iwas told that we would not be able to access the facilites straightaway. After I asked to speak to the manager and receive partreimbursement because the facilities were not available (I was deniedboth of these) the fitness/spa/sauna miraculously becameavailable and everything was ok. The outcome was good, however in myopinion the facilities shouldn't have been "out of bounds"in the first place.

Review 114：Excellent (extensive) breakfast, good range of other foods in therestaurant, comfortable and spacious rooms, spa/sauna/fitnessroom is good - there are different types of equipment in the fitnessroom, the sauna is hot (85+ degrees) and the spa is very comfortable.

This old guy, came to me and asked me to move the car from the parking, even though there were a lot of spaces, and even though I told him that I was booking the room right then from my laptop.
