Reviews for Old Leura Dairy
Review 1:I loved not having to see anyone to book in or out. We had our own little place and doors everywhere leading to greenery. So pretty. Hen we arrived it was all set up and ready. Already recommended it.
Review 2:Just the pesky bathroom shower. Even tucking the shower curtain in didn't seem to stop water from leaking onto the floor.
Review 3:The full range of well thought out amenities - everything necessary for a comfortable stay was included. The well thought out and attractive decor with recycled materials. The commitment to the environment.
Review 4:This place is both one of a kind beautiful, and cozy - we loved everything! One of the nicest boutique accomodations - overflowing with good vibes - such a pleasure to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay.
Review 5:I loved the cosy feeling and the setting. Felt totally pampered and private. Real plunger coffee is a real plus. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay.
Review 6:The accomodation was beautiful - a perfect mix of rustic and luxury. Soft towels and linen, home made jam, plunged coffee and tea, a comfortable bed, beautifully decorated lodge with all shampoo, conditioners and bath oils handmade and mixed with essential oils.
Review 7:The (spring) mattresses were a bit saggy and the pillows too soft. The noise of the fridge was annoying. But small detail compared to the rest of the place!
Review 8:The cuteness and style of the individual Cottages with old bits and bobs from the original dairy and re-purposed furniture gave a loving feel as soon as you saw it. Loved the personal gas barbie, courtyard, trees and rosellas.
Review 9:Despite the appalling weather we were very comfortable in the studio, which was just as well as we spent a lot of time inside. Heating was more than adequate.
Review 10:Bed was a bit too firm and you had to use bathroom sink to wash cups/fill kettle as there is no kitchen sink
Review 11:Rustic feel and cutesy charm. Hot tub was welcome after a long day.
Review 12:Nothing!
Review 13:Amazing surroundings, location, furnishings, bathroom, barbecue and outside space. We were very well looked after with a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived (part of our honeymoon)
Review 14:We did not get to meet the owners but everything was well organised and easy. We had the studio apartment which was lovely. The setting is beautiful and relaxing and location was perfect - set a little out of Leura central which was actually great - away from the busy area.
Review 15:I enjoyed the feeling of seclusion due to separate accommodation units and beautiful screening garden plants. It is about 15 min walk to the village which means it is far enough away from the highway to feel peaceful. The staff were welcoming but not intrusive. My husband had to do some work so the Wifi was very useful.
Review 16:Wish we had stayed longer

Review 18:Can't think of anything! We'll be back.
Review 19:The Milking Shed had all the modern conveniences you need from pots and pans to a slow combustion fire. It also had rustic charm in the form of a claw foot bath and antique decoratives throughout.

Review 45:we stayed in the Milking Shed on the coldest, windiest day of the year. Fabulous. Wind whistling outside while fire roared inside (and we watched the World Cup). Sat in the outdoor hot tub under dancing gum trees. Didn't want to leave.
Review 46:None.
Review 47:The charm of the milking shed is unbelievable. It's peaceful and quiet. The place is equipped with practically everything from washing detergent for the washing machine to extra towels. The place was so cosy that we did not want to leave! The location is perfect, near to amenities such as cafés, restaurants and supermarket. It is just less than 15 minutes drive to the Echo Point! The host provided us with clear instructions to enter the shed as we checked in late in the evening. We loved our stay at Old Leura Dairy! Thank you!
Review 48:You may have to get close to the office to get wifi, we sat in the giant chess board garden to connect. Not really a negative, just a tip.
Review 49:This was an amazing place to stay, the cabins are so private and beautiful. The wood stove and hand made eucalyptus bath products were an unexpected bonus. The whole "dairy" is an extremely charismatic and inventive design. A highlight of our trip through Australia!
Review 50:The quiet location and the interior style of the cottage that we stayed in. I loved the cottage gardens full of old farm yard materials and the flowers and herbs that are dotted everywhere. The buildings were unique and unusual which added to the country charm of the place.

Review 52:We loved the location and the quirkiness, the fact that a lot of the cottage was recycled only added to the charm - it was clean, comfortable and very well done. We had all home comforts including WIFI and Ipod docs.
Review 53:No staff to greet us. The wood burner made the bedroom very hot and then when the wood had burned it got very cold at night. Lots of screaming kids running around too that belonged to other people. Not a great experience.

Review 55:Leaving it.
Review 56:Quiet surroundings, rustic charm of place, garden setting, friendly staff, value for money - allowed a degree of independence as a guest that I appreciated.
