Review 1：Loud noise of doors opening and closing. Woke by the noise of others coming in and out.

Review 7：House interior looks haggard and not as expected as compared from the exterior of the house i.e. worn out main door - desperately need wood shellac. Haggard looking furniture. Beg bugs, not too much, but there is. TV sound is not in good condition. Too many stuff being dumped outside the house makes it look messy and dirty.

Review 30：There's no flyers/info regarding the nearest grocery stores or place to eat. We have to search the area ourselves as there was no one to ask.
Review 31：The area is quite and near to Teluk Cempedak and town. The rooms and toilets are clean. It's the most comfortable homestay I've ever been.
Review 32：The staff were basically nonexistent for questions like restaurant recommendations. If you don't have a car, finding out things like where to catch a bus is difficult if there is no one around to talk to. The woman who let us in and then disappeared didn't speak English.

Review 34：The owner is a great guy, great service also apart from being a very clean house. Its value for money is oustanding. Its near to the city, only about 10 minutes away, and from the local hotspot teluk cempedak is only 5minutes away. So whoever that is planning to go to kuantan, i would highly recommend this alor akar homestay. Cheers!

Review 39：On the first night we slept on a terrible mattress, the springs were all coming out. The next day we got a better mattress and it was soft and sinking.
