Review 1：The staff really needs some customer training. Specifically I want to mention the poor behavior of the lady who was at the concierge desk during my stay and the one in the travel agency, I have NEVER experienced such indifference and unwillingness to help during my hundred of hotel stays around the world. One exception, the receptionist called Aleksandra has been always very kind and made an extra effort to help.

Review 3：Reception is closed at night. Security little bit strong concerning your visitors, requires passport details of them. No refrigirator in the room. No air condition, quite hot in the rooms when the weather is good outside.

Review 5：No aircondition in the room. It's a problem to get an invoice at company name (there are some new requirements - you need an official document that you're authorized to get an invoice at company name). Such a problem I've never met in other hotels...

Review 14：Excellent location of the hotel, the reception staff are great, the hotel has two restaurants at the top of magnificence and all the staff at the restaurant of their services is very excellent, and heating the hotel excellent, especially as the temperature was -9, I would recommend doing so, and I will return to it again

Review 25：Room is small. Internet not convenient. You buy for an hour and each time you log in you have to give the login and password numbers. It took sometimes a lot of time before login page appeared.

Review 31：You have to pay for your hotel stay in advance upon arrival, a newexperience for me. Restaurant and breakfast need to be paid separately.The minibar in the room is empty and never filled. The rooms are largeand clean but slightly outdated. On national holidays the staff is notso friendly as on other days, complaining that they have to work and abit arrogant. Still, all in all good value for money.

Review 32：Ah, Kaliningrad.... A very modern and nice city, not at all the badplace some Westerners might think it to be ! This hotel is very largeand you get a large and comfortable room for relatively little money anda very nice view of the city. A very large and beautiful entrance hall,very helpful staff, all of whom speak English, who try to help you withall of your questions and issues, safe and guarded parking around theback (free), located right in the middle of the city with on one sidethe beautifully restored Old Town (just across the bridge) and thebeautiful new city center only a 15 minute walk away. All touristicsites are within easy walking distance, including the Ship Museum whichdisplays an old nuclear Soviet era submarine (amongst other ships),except perhaps the Amber Museum which is an estimated 2 km away.Inconspicuous armed guards in the lobby. Located right next to thecity's main road but still quiet. 2 western restaurants (1 sushi, 1international) located within the hotel with good food and low pricesand are open until very late. For the real Russian experience however,have a taxi (right in front of the hotel) take you to a real Russianrestaurant like Solyanka. Don't get ripped off, should not cost morethan rub 100 - rub 150 (ask first). Driving yourself is an experienceand requires some strong nerves and don't forget that there is azero percent alcohol tolerance in Russia for drivers. A good breakfastwith lots of choice is served in a large breakfast room (not included inroom price). All in all reasonable or even cheap prices all around and agreat place to visit and stay. Will come back here, definitelyrecommended.
