Review 1：you can connect only one device to the wifi. Missing a table and a chair in the room and at balcony also. If you have to use a laptop you can use it only on the bed!

Review 3：We were forced to wear whristbands to walk around the hotel on the first day. Felt really bad, like a dog that needed a leash. Thankfully they just stopped asking for that from the second day on (no explanations given)

Review 11：Great location, VERY CLEAN, sauna should be open in the morning for a couple of hours and then reopened again at the end of the day instead of just at the end of the day. Most of the staff was very helpful and friendly, specially Rodrigo from the front desk who provided an excellent customer service and Michele from the restaurant who was always very attentive to our needs. The "lounge" by the entrance is a plus. Just sit there and enjoy the view!

Review 14：Sadly, our experience was spoiled by 3 consecutive nights of disturbed sleep due to a festival taking place in the village which was centred on a stage right by the pousada. This went on until approx 2am. Our advice would be to check with the pousada before booking to avoid this situation.
Review 15：This pousada is excellent in so many ways. The staff were helpful and courteous. The position on the waterfront is great for watching the world go by. The gardens are pretty. The beds are so comfortable.

Review 22：We had a large group that basically sold out the pousada on a Sunday and Monday. We were pretty nice and calm. One of the daytime staff helped us out with letting us keep our bags there in a room on the checkout day. The owner showed up and got very angry and made us pay after the fact.... Really shows greed on the ownership lvl especially since we sold out the place for 2 off nights.... Otherwise experience was great.

We needed to reach the airlines to check on a cancelled flight. There was an open connection down the road that we found to do that.

Review 39：The pousada is right in the heart of the town! all of the restaurants and shops are right there. at the same time it is very quiet. we had no noise problems when we slept. if you are looking for a party style hostel this is not it. it also has a small pool, pool table and fooseball. they also have a nice breakfast in the morning. the staff was also willing to help and point you in the right direction on what to do on the island, however they didn't speak much English.
Review 40：Steam room was nice after a long day of hiking, but one of the days it never got warm enough. As with everywhere else on ilha Grande don't expect much in terms of internet or WiFi, but the computers in the lobby worked ok.

This hotel/pousada accommodates families with children. Nice room and air condition + fan. Helpful staff. Bathroom ok. Breakfast and breakfast interior really nice. Baby bed available as well. Banana and coconut trees on the property. WIFI really good.

Right at the seafront but still in the back to avoid the noise (well, except for the church "bells" but they only announce the hour at decent times not during the night or morning). It's a few steps from the dock (and the path up to it is suitable for luggage on wheels!), about 10 minutes walk from the closest beach. It has all the amenities you might need, pool is nice for a short swim, there's a fridge, good breakfast, friendly staff. Overall a good choice.
