Review 2:It's too bad that it's not posible to make a conversation with all the friendly staff because they don't speak English. Fortunately Manuel did quite well.

Review 3:Everything was well organised. The ambiance was superb, the staff very friendly and helpfull.

Review 4:The AirCon dripped all the first night but was sorted out the next day. Dinner was rather salty and quite heavy plus there are no restaurants nearby.

Review 5:Beautiful small hotel, great decor and lovely pool. Wonderful garden. Very kind and helpful staff who seem to run the hotel - all in Portuguese except the owner who speaks English. Fabulous breakfast.

The garden is spectacular, the rooms are estetically great designed and the staff are very nice and serviceminded. The food is delicious, for all of your senses.

Review 9:The location is only slightly away from Tavira central, which turned out to be an additional asset. The grounds are even more serene with no sounds of traffic or people. You will want to stay here indefinitely!

Review 10:Everything!!! The grounds are unbelievingly beautiful. The staff is incredibly attentive, polite, and thoughtful. The view from the upper floor rooms is stunning across the farmlands all the way to the ocean. Every aspect of Quinta da Lua is well thought out and smartly designed.

Review 20:Leaving

Review 21:High standards but relaxed approach.Stylish yet comfortable ,Garden facilities, food Honesty bar

Review 22:Everything was perfect , the property, rooms, furnishings, service.

Review 23:That we were there for such a short time!

Review 24:Attention to detail, quirky little touches that make the place so special. Delicious breakfast.

Review 25:Pretty much everything, dogs barking can be annoying at night

Review 26:Comfort, great food, excellent service

Review 27:Having to leave so soon

Review 28:I loved everything. The gracious hosts, the serene beauty of the property. The chef is superb and Miguel , makes your life pure bliss

Review 29:the internet was way too slow and not always on. The air-conditioning was broken, there was no one on property to fix it (at night). Thus we slept poorly because of musquitos. Breakfast was too simple: coffee not from an espresso machine, no eggs.

Review 30:the beauty of the place, the beauty of the well kept garden, the interior decoration and style. Very good beds and bedding. Large swimming pool. Very attractive and quiet.

Review 31:Beautifull gardens, kind staff, very Good and comfortable room, very Nice breakfast . Enough to see in the area. Near the airport. We Will absolutely come back and recommand this beautifull place

Review 32:That we had to leave so soon.

Review 33:Take a night to have dinner at this lovely hotel. The cook is excellent. I am gluten free so I appreciated the fact that they took such care. They went out of their way to make sure that I was well taken care of.. Miguel the owner is a wealth of information so try to follow his lead when it comes to eating out and visiting the right towns so that you get the real flavor of this area. The grounds are beautiful and if you need a hideaway just to chill out, this is a marvelous place to relax. I felt like I stayed In a five star hotel. Every detail was taken care of. Did I mention that they serve you breakfast on your terrace every morning?

Review 34:This was our second visit since 2007. It was just as good this time as it was on our previous visit except the garden had been landscaped and was beautiful. The rooms are finished to a very high standard with an eye for detail, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was continental consisting of fruits cereal, breads cheeses hams etc. If you have a superior room it is laid out and served on your own terrace, a real treat! We had dinner a couple of nights and the food was delicious and ambiance very romantic. The Hotel is in an idyllic setting and very peaceful and relaxing. A car is recommended. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I'd highly recommend Quinta da Lua and will be going back there again.

Review 35:when you're in heaven, there are no complaints

Review 36:Very charming, so relaxing, details who makes the difference, a royal breakfast with delicious homemade products served on your own terrace, service of a highly recommended standard and in such a spontaneous, warm and friendly way, feels like heaven on earth

Review 37:Too many wasps at breakfast. Impossible to find without GPS.

Review 38:Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of nowhere. Superb breakfast - healthy and delicious.

Review 39:Highly recommended hotel!!! My husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary and we were so glad to have selected this place. It's an amazing spot, tucked in the middle of an orchard (you need a car and a navigator to get there). The place is perfect for a romantic getaway or for relaxation. The food is perfect, fresh and healthy. The staff is very helpful. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable. We spent a day at the beach on Tavira Island and we were positively surprised to find a designated spot for Quinta da Lua clients at one of the concessions. All in all, we were incredibly pampered and it was exactly what we needed.

Review 40:But ambiance is not so relax, others customers were a little bit stiffly. Noisy dogs in the morning or afternoon (barkling loudly), & I have dog.

Review 41:very nice experience, the garden is just lovely and everything is made to ensure a charming stay

Review 42:The quinta is some kilometers away from the city and the beach, so you obviously need a car. Some things like soft drinks and so on are too expensive.

Review 43:Romantic atmosphere. Great garden and pool. Everything is very clean. Great service, delicious breakfast and dinner. We felt very comfortable there and will come again.

Review 44:- location is quite isolated, hidden between small tavira villages. no way we would have found it without sat navigation. there are signs leading to it, but only on one of the at least 3 possible routes

Review 45:- very cozy, few rooms, a lot of privacy, multiple spaces outdoor (private balcony, public lounge, gazebos, terrace) - design of rooms very nice and authenitic portugese - flexible due to small size (guests can serve dinner at various hours, there isn't a restaurant, but owners customize service) -great food. breakfast served in the garden with a wide choice of healthy foods. Dinner only on request great fresh food

Review 46:The bed was very hard personally I love a soft comfy bed.

Review 47:Everything was just perfect and very, very beautifull from the delightfull breakfast on the terras to the very good dinner. Beautifull suite room and bathroom. The B&B is build 14 years ago,but is só well maintained as if it was finished 3 months ago. The owners have the perfect eye for detail and do everything to make your stay a memorable one!

Review 55:Luxury facilities Brilliant staff

Review 56:Perfect spot to get away from it all.

Review 57:Great staff, great location (if you have a car), good food and beautiful surroundings. It's a winner all round.
