Review 1：The colors in the rooms are gloomy. I used to come frequently to this hotel back in 2004 to 2008 and used to have at least a small bottle of water in the room. Now no welcoming gesture at all

Review 2：Service was ok , food was not good . Breakfast was very poor. The lady at the gift shop was very rude and unfriendly .

Review 27：It was cold, ok it's December but the heating in the room didn't work. There was no alcohol served in the hotel. I didn't see that on their website. The manager told me it's alcohol free. It's ok if you just want somewhere quiet for a week to read a book but if you want a bit of fun stay nearer the marina.

Review 34：The first reception was slow. The hotel is at about 50 minutes by walking to restaurants and the restaurant of the hotel close to the beach was not excellent in contrast with those in the city. Wifi is only available in the lobby and its quality varies during the day.

Review 38：The room was dirty. The staff absolutely not prepared, For every question the answer was i don t know. We had to carry by ourselves the luggages without anything for almost 300mt. The only restaurant open it didn t have any plate of the menu, and was very expensive for that poor quality. The room was at 68€/n maybe not so much for a big hotel like this, but over all was a bad experience.

Review 40：Almost everything horrible , I don't know how to start.... But let's start by the staff:Poor customer service at the reception ,you have to keep on calling and asking until they respond but you end up by being disappointed most of the time ....Watch out when you eat food , make sure you are not eating a row chicken ... I had a horrible night owing to a uncooked chicken which caused a looseness of the bowels and sharp abdominal pain , I have called the reception for help, but someone told me that they don't provide medication at the hotel ,I was dying from pain because of the hotel's food poisoning . I kept on asking help on the phone but none came to see me in the room .. Even though I told them to pay what ever cost just to get someone or medication to kill the strongest infection I've ever had ... The receptionist called me back to let me know that no pharmacy was open .it was very humiliating to hear that the pharmacies were close and no action was taken ... It was an issue of death or life for me ... The only option I had was to call the kitchen staff to get some cumin and hot water ... Fortunately , I got some cumin which I used as a medication . But it didn't remedy the pain which got stronger , I really cried the whole night alone in the toilet ,because of the strong diarrhoea . I slept around 4:30 in the morning .. I woke up very late with a little bit of pain . I couldn't have breakfast . I went to the reception to find out about the last night . One of the staff felt sorry and said that there is normally a nurse in the hotel and they can call a doctor in case of emergency ... The only excuse that they provide which is a big joke again was because of a trainee staff who doesn't know the hotel's services yet.Very ridiculous !!!!, how would you imagine that a trainee staff doing a night shift alone !!!!!!!I've heard that the kitchen chef is not happy as not getting a logic salary .....

Review 41：The weather and the beach ... Morrocan city was lovely ..Agadir is stunning But, The hotel " Palais Des Roses' (place of death) where I stayed was so horrible , dangerous and food poisoning . Reception staff rude and helpless

Review 42：The only think is restaurant! While everything else in the hotel was just perfect and made us happy. The restaurant and it's staff was dissaster and it make me for the firs time in my life to go complain. There was not enoug staff available and these who were present were not helpfull. Everyday was difficult to find free table because they didnt clean the used ones or they prepared just half of the tables available in the restaurant. We has to always seach for cutlery, tissues, cups....And for 7 days we stayed there was no change in the breakfast menu.

Review 43：The hotel has good design with amazing swimming pool and the hotel has good location right by the beach.Hotel and the rooms are spacious with nice view. The staff on the reception was always very helpfull.I think this hotel is perfect for families with kids as well as older couples.

Review 44：The hotel rooms smelt of stunk, had spiders hanging down the walls, over 30 bugs flying around the room, the bed was broken, the phone was not working, the safe was not working, towels are a luxury there, demotivated staff, dirty pools... Etc. Now when it comes to breakfact, it was an experience of its own; no food, no seats, no service and very dirty. As a result, we had to checkout and move to the Sofitel next door. Just to clarify, we went to Palais Des Roses two summers ago and the experience was different. Although it wasn't top luxury, it was a fair and comfortable 4 star hotel. Whatever happened next will remain a mistery for us. Next again for us!

Review 46：- the hotel from out side is awsome. - from inside is very old with a woody smell which was annoying . - the staff at the reception were not smiling with a very dirty uniform . - I arrived at 12.30 at the after noor , when I want to do my check in the staff ( ahmed ) stated that I have to wait until 2 pm from my check in without any appology or excuses. - He was very rude and arogant . - I m ashmatic and I requeted him to give me a room with a good working AC and he stated that the AC is centralised and He can not do something about it . - It was only one elevator which was working among 2 . - the room was clean however was very old , and did not deserve the price . - The room was not equiped with an iron , and shampoo , we have to beg them for the shampoo every day . - No drinking bottles of water were offered , they stated that we have to buy it . - the houskeeping were very loud , you can not sleep properly . - The AC was not working at all and they do not provide u with a FAN . - the internet is not working in the room only at the lobby . - No busniss lounge was provided forthe guest. - the location is wrong as u have to pay more than 50 MDH to reach the city . -The worst breakfast you will get at the hotel , only scramble eggs as a main dish . - Not recommended at all

Review 93：The worst hotel you will stay in. Although the grounds look nice. Staff are very lazy and rude. Service is incredibly slow. Food is of a poor standard. Please do not go here unless you are severely deluded or a party animal who will only see it as a bed for the night.

Review 94：the smell of the rooms like if it was closed for ages, that was a big disagreement for me with my asthma. The staff was not answering immediately our requests, we had to call 3 times for the same request and went to the reception to have it done.

Review 98：The food on offer at breakfast is not great. One one morning, we struggled to get a seat or even a cup of tea because of a large group which the hotel seemed unable to cope with. Many of the rooms could do with facelifts as they are dated and a bit worn.

Review 99：Best thing about this place is the lovely swimming pool and the views from SOME of the rooms which overlook the pool and the ocean. The lobby area is also pleasant. Hotel is right next to the beach and the sea so easy access to both. Be aware it's a long (but pleasant) walk along the promenade to get to the centre of Agadir.It's nice to be away from all the noise and crowds but is good to bear this in mind.

Review 100：The daily flood in the shower as drainage was lamentable spreading to the room .Action to empty by staff was effected immediately but there must be a fundamental problem in the system. Probably blockage/damage. It is an alcohol free hotel - but you can bring it in to consume .Surprising but I suppose reflecting the local religious belief . Anyway it did us no harm. Good actually !

Review 102：The staff were very nice and pleasant . I liked the breakfast. It is peaceful. I went in early March to recharge in vitamine D as advised by my GP , I certainly got the result I was looking for. Plenty of sunshine, Walk on the beach every morning, then gym for 1 hour then Thallasso for the rest of the day. 3 day cure is £200 and well worth it. I will do it more often as it really helped me . The hotel general manager is so professional . He made sure I had a very good stay.

Review 111：The swimming pool (main selling point of the hotel) was out of use for one week during our stay and the hotel management granted us a rebate of merely EUR 40 (=1.6% !!!) over a total bill of EUR 2400. All the facility except the Spa needs complete refurbishment. The same piece of classical music plays constantly in the lobby turning you crazy after a while. This hotel currently deserves not more than 2 stars.

Review 113：The pool needs cleaning the floor bottom has a brownish color which is not very attractive. In the special request I clearly asked for a room with sea view. Once in the hotel nobody knew about this request. Of coarse I was offered a room facing planet jupiter... I had to pay extra for a room facing the pool and sea. There were plenty of rooms available. It almost looks like you are getting the opposite of what you are asking for in order to make you pay. What is the purpose of the special request with booking.com?

Review 114：The location was excellent. Also the breakfast is really nice in the morning.

Review 115：Food! Only ever 1 restaurant open for lunch when they advertise multiple restaurants. The buffet lunch was not really Morrocan and it wasn't good Mediterranean either. When ordered a la carte, the pizza was so bland you couldn't tell it was pizza. Long way from the Marina or any entertainment. If you don't happen to get good weather (and in July/August it is quite possible Agadir will have a lot of cloud) you will be bored in this hotel. Finally after 2 days of listening to Mozart, Bach, Chopin and Beethoven...we were sick of classical music...it permeated through all public areas excluding the spa. Generally the decore is a bit run down as well. We thought the hotel was 20 years old only to find out its about 10 years old. Regardless of age it is still run down.

Review 118：Easygoing and convenient with a rather good ratio quality/money. Transfer organized to & from the golf courses. The spa is convenient with °C 34 seawater to relax after golfing... Nice people at the spa.

Review 119：On booking web site it is note cover swimming pool but in fact it is aspa center with swimming pool and cosi is 20€ per day for one person. Wechoose this hotle becasue weather was not so good and to enjoy in theswimming pool but we never enjoy there. For me this is falseadvertising.

Review 121：A wonderful scenic garden with pool. It's own private beach with staff to bring you snacks and refreshments. The staff were very friendly and make you feel welcome and part of their family. The hotel is some distance away from the touristy corniche and restaurants but it's quite and alcohol free which is great as you don't get the rabble from drinkers. There's no night club or trash woman normally scene in other hotels. This hotel is very professional and suited for young families who just want to relax and explore the locality. There is a children's club where you can leave the young ones for a couple of hours whilst catching a tan. This hotel was great five star!
