Review 2：Watch out for the Bashō poetry on the ironically named Rode Huis. High level of comfort and interesting designer features. Fun bubble bath and awesome candle lit breakfast. Nice and quiet with no significant road noise. Handy for town. Friendly welcoming host.
Review 3：The internet did not work everywhere in the room. I had to go to downstairs to use the skype.
Review 4：The owners are very helpful. The place is in the middle of the city. It is the best place to stay especially if you are in the city for visiting the university. Also, breakfast is rich.

Review 11：Very nice hosts, colorful and tasty design, beautiful view to the canal, breakfast so thoughtfully laid out. I needed an iron which the hosts didn't have - but went to buy right away. Feeling like staying as a guest rather than being accommodated anonymously in an anonymous hotel. Helemaal leuk!
Review 12：My husband and I had an absolutely incredible. Time staying at the Het Rode Huis. Chris and Els made us feel so welcome. The accommodations were perfect as was the breakfast and the wonderful service that they provided. Our stay in Leiden with Chris and Els was the most memorable time of our 11 day trip between Holland and Belgium. I would highly recommend staying at this location. It is close to many interesting sites including restaurants shops and the beautiful windmill.
Review 13：Just 1 small point Internet. I don´t know if it was our computers but the connection with the router was good but the access to internet was a traffic light. Els said that she will check it so next time no problems anymore.
