Review 1：The pool is small & needs an update. It becomes congested & noisy with families/kids. Slide door between bedroom & ensuite needed update-would not close without extra effort.

Review 3：The tv pixelates quite a bit possibly cheaper digital model on older type antenna system. Did not watch too much tv and forgot to advise the front desk about this minor problem.
Review 4：Great location, most comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, air conditioning plus overhead fan above bed. The apartment 101421 was spotlessly clean and well maintained paintwork. Kitchenette adequate for two.

Review 6：Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was perfect - close to shops and main beach directly opposite. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. We had an enormous balcony - was great on rainy days.
Review 7：The rooms do not get cleaned. We were there for 7 nights and nothing is done in this time and we had to provide all our own coffee etc other than the very small amount that was in the room initially. You don't even get fresh towels,you are expected to launder them yourself. The room we were in cost $225 a night for a bed, bathroom and kitchen area, all in the same room and was complete self service, I find this very expensive. There is no way you could cook a full meal in the kitchen as it only had 2 hotplates and a microwave.The room was not very clean either, moldy areas in bathroom, probably due to lack of cleaning. Staff were non existent. The air conditioning was excessively loud and prevented a good nights sleep.

Review 13：We had no air con for 3 days we paid top dollar and we weren't even compensated for it wasn't happy as you pay for air con and we slept badly every night . Very stuffy and disappointing !!!! The staff should have compensated us for the inconvenience of maintenance men comming in and out of our room . And paying top dollar for no air con bad customer service from landmark reception staff.

Review 15：The rooms are set up so badly that unless you are on level 6 or above or have a beachfront room you just look into other people's rooms and have the very noisy pool area facing you. The standard rooms are very small. We had a spa bath that wouldn't fit an adult and it doubled at the shower area which unless you were young and fit you would struggle to get in and out of. We didn't get a nice feeling from staying here, the service and atmosphere seemed cold and regulated. We did have one lovely lady at the very end when checking out.

Review 17：Uncomfortable bed and chair. Bathroom unacceptable for our needs, walk in shower was requested and only a plastic stool provided to enter tall spa/shower. Not practical for older people who need easy shower access. When reception were approached they didn't seem too concerned that we couldn't access shower easily. The response was "didn't you get a stool?"

Review 19：When we arrive one of the two lifts was being worked on. Had to wait a very long time for the lift, and if it was full we had to wait again. We planned to barbecue on Xmas day, looked at available times in the barbeque area in the roof top, went up and checked the location on Xmas Eve. Xmas day we went to the roof top to bring our food at 11:00 am for an early lunch, the gate was locked. Checked again at 11:30 the gate was still locked. Went back to our apt called 9 and the young lady that answer our call said she could not help us. Had to cook our lunch in the tiny kitchen in our apt. The electrical plugs in the kitchen were not working, had to heat our tea water in the bathroom. When we checked out, we spoke to the lady in charged in reception, and argue with us saying that she had checked in the afternoon and the gate was unlocked. Not very good customer service, did she think we were lying? Unfortunately, our Christmas day did not go as planned, and our departure from the Landmark was less than satisfactory

Review 25：Rooms are individually owned so it's pot luck what condition your apartment is in. Ours had a broken door between bedroom and lounge room and a very strange off-putting smell.
Review 26：Studio apartments are very very pokey. It's all you need for a weekend but wouldn't recommend for any longer amount of time! The spa baths in the studio apartments are very small.

Review 32：No washing up detergent but pretty minor in the scheme of things. More detailed check out information needed. Couldn't find the early checkout box for keys. Lift wouldn't work without key so needed to take car out before leaving keys at closed reception. Cleaner took the keys.

Review 36：This is a completely cold, impersonal if not downright unfriendly place. Once reception is closed there is no one on the premises to deal with questions or problems, which is a bit of a shock, considering that this is a ten-storey block. God help you if you come in late, or have mislaid your key! There is no way to get into the building, and no phone or number to call. Generally you feel like you're in an expensive prison. You have to use the key to make the lift function, or to get access to the pool area. Everything costs extra, which in a place charging $200 a night seems mean in the old sense--stingy and grasping. Towels for the pool are extra; Wi-Fi costs extra. And there are threatening notices every there about how you will be charged for things (eg. $25 for every half hour beyond 10am when you are supposed to have checked out!) I can't recommend this place at all.

Review 40：The first room we were given had a very strong air freshener smell, after a bit of searching we found that the bin smelled of smoke. So our non smoking room had been smoked in and the cleaners had tried to cover it up. It was very unpleasant so we moved rooms at a $40 cost. The next room was much better and we had a great stay.

Review 49：Having to pay for extras like toilet paper, coffee and shampoo. I've never stayed anywhere that didn't supply these things. Two rolls of toilet paper, a few sachets of coffee and one small tube of shampoo isn't enough for 2 people for 5 days. Good for a cheaper place for a wedding trip but wont choose to stay here in future for a holiday.

Review 84：The Landmark may have set the standard 20 years ago. Unfortunately, it is a little dated and requires a coat of paint and some TLC inside and out. Having said that, I believe the exterior was just about to get a fresh paint job. The beds are hit and miss depending on which unit you stay in. Initially, our first room had a horrible bed. We paid a little more and upgraded and the second apartment had an awesome bed!

Review 99：The fact that they tried to charge us $25 for not washing up a couple of dishes and that they rely on guests to do this, there is no quality control for the next guests and I find this unhygienic. The reception is only manned between 8am-4pm

Paying for wifi is a rip off. That was complete rubbish and it had been advertised as free wifi. we were cheated = good trick!!!

However staff quick to attempt basic repair with cardboard as apartment owner not available to authorise full repair - feel customer should have been made aware of this prior to booking or offered discount for room that required maintenance. Would have preferred free wifi at the hotel instead of limited paid access.
