Reviews for Robinson Club Agadir

Review 1:"External life" including restaurants and local market (souq) is too far away for walking so a taxi is necessary if you want to enjoy life outside the Robinson Club. If you stay in a room on a ground floor and do not want to use air conditioning then there is no way to open a window in a safe way. Window = sliding door and it is not possible to keep it open during the night without inviting local fauna...

Review 2:Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good choice and quality of food. Large and comfortable rooms. Very good relax facilities including in-door swimming pool and sauna. Very good place for a golf trip with convenient free buses to and from golf courses (15 minutes one way). The best are Golf Du Soleil and Golf De L'Ocean. Golf Les Dunes is also OK. Tazegzout Golf is very picturesque but a bit too new (greens are very hard and rather greenish than green). Avoid Royal Golf Club - 2.5 times cheaper but 10 times worse ;)

Review 3:Some parts are not the most modern today, as the SPA as an example. But very nice service.

Review 4:The location and food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful Always ready to help.

Review 5:long ways inside the club-area, evening-entertainment has lots of potential for improvement; beach is good for extensive beach-walking only, but not for sitting directly on the water; some days the beach was very dirty; Agadir authorities seem to have a cleanliness problem with the entire beach.

Review 6:You arrive at Robinson Agadir, and you feel immediately "transferred" to the holiday-world. Some highlights: location, club-staff, set-up of the club, variety of sports possibilities, salad-bar. Seeing the development and practicing of young Moroccan people in the Robinson Club Hotel School inside the Robinson Club Agadir, finding their way into the hotel services.

Review 7:Once outside the hotel, be careful with the Moroccans, they are all after your money, and you'll be hassled every time. They are very presistent.

Review 8:Excellent food, Available aal thru the day on different locations. Huge professional friendly staff, All in with premier brands. Very large area, lots of space Professional Spa & closed off nude sauna. Nice climate in January. Smokers bar inside on the second floor.

Review 9:Literally every single person at the resort was German, none of the brochures or signs were in English. No English TV channels (also German). I would have booked elsewhere knowing this. As a result I didn't know they had a spa until the last morning!

Review 10:Food is pretty decent and plenty of it (lots of choice). Rooms clean and modern. Nice beach access and pool area.

Review 11:There was only one thing what was not so much convenient personally for us, that the people sit your table at the lunch or dinner since it's a clubhotel. For us was strange that we had the dinner every day with different, unknown people.

Review 12:I could not tell anything what is bad because everything was very good in this hotel - staff, cleanness, food, beach, room, etc. But I would recommend the hotel mainly for German, French or Arabic speakers, since the 99% of the staff speak "only" these 3 languages, but no English or Russian for example. And I can recommend for smokers, they are very tolerant with the smoking.

Review 13:The separated beds. In the rooms there is 2 beds put one near the other.

Review 14:It's very nice place where u can relax, practice sport, take sun on that beautiful beach, enjoy the view & the air of its beautiful gardens. The quality of food they r serving is good, the staff working there is nice giving a good quality of service. I recommend that place to any person traveling alone, in couple, friends or family.

Review 15:no internet in the rooms

Review 16:The staff from the reception didn't always know what they were doing

Review 17:We liked the food. The staff attentif and the new general manager omnipresent

Review 18:I should not know

Review 19:Everything exept that this time there were no tables for two

Review 20:Perfect

Review 21:Smoking in the bar and on all the terraces outside

Review 22:The hotel gardens, staff, big rooms, fresh fruit and a lot of vegetarian food

Review 23:Dessert menu on the evening dinner over charge for good drinks and good wine Kids Club only in german

Review 24:Kids Club Beach Bed Beach Restaurant Taj

Review 25:I didn't like the security team and reception staff especially on check in. security on the Guate could not find our reservation so he left us waiting 10 minutes on the gate. The receptionist could not find our reservation either(German girl). She didn't even apologize nor smiled even when I showed her my booking confirmation. she just said go and seat there which I didn't appreciate and found it extremely rude and humilating .... For me first impression always count. A customer should not be made to feel that way even in ibis hotel let alone Robinson club. When I complained then the FO manager came out from the office and dealt with us with appropriate manner. Reception team need some basic customer service training to avoid complains.. Rooms are very clean and from high standard, the only down fall all rooms have twin beds which is no good when you plan to spend your honey moon.

Review 26:Hotel well maintained, clean and from High standard. GM welcome all the guests and always on the floor which is great to see. F&B team very impressive. Very high quality service and food. Exceed all my expectations. From beach restaurant waiter to the Head chef . Star man Abdel azize on the restaurant. Always pro-active and service with natural smile. Make you feel like king. And that exactly what makes the hotel 5 star. Housekeeping staff very welcoming more than the reception.

Review 27:Smoking was allowed inside the bar area, and we are just not used to this anymore. But there are Moroccan style "meeting places" in the bar where the smoke was not so noticeable, so it was OK in the end. The Spa was not great, be prepared for people without clothes on in the sauna.

Review 28:The resort is very attractive and large, there is a lot of space everywhere. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the food is amazing - lots of variety, lots of it and very tasty! Fellow guests were very chatty, especially when they found out we were not German as they got to show off their English. This resort is located at the far end of Agadir beach, so there is a walk (or taxi ride) to get anywhere but the town is not that big anyway, and worth exploring. Being all inclusive meant that our 5 day stay was excellent value for money.

Review 29:Not for me! I stay at hotels for approx 30 to 35 weeks in the year for 2 or 3 nights and this was bu far the worst. If you would like to be herded like a sheep, processed like a number, stay in unluxurious rooms, dine with limited food options and would like to learn how to speak German, then this is ideal for you...Good Luck!

Review 30:Location was useful.

Review 31:The reception staff is friendly, but no more than that. A simple 'welcome back' at check in would have been nice. (They knew upfront that we were coming back) Or at check out no inquiries about our stay. I worked myself at the guest services desk of a 5 star resort in the Caribbean, and those simple remarks make a guest even feel more welcome. (Maybe a hint for the future?) But for the rest no complaints. Great stay.

Review 32:Is was our second time, and it was like last year a wonderful stay. Facilities and room are very good, the food is great, fresh prepared and many choices, the staff (especially the local ones, like Nouredinne from breakfast and dinner and the staff of the kids club) is wonderful. Some of the local staff recognized us, and made us feel like home away from home. No complaints whatsoever, only the weather did not cooperate, but that's nature, nothing to do with the hotel. We will certainly go back next year, especially my daughter of 7 can't wait to return.

Review 33:Very poor coffee and the wine served was very light. Evening entertainment was very amateur, with staff members roped in to perform when it was not their strong point. The reception area is staggeringly unwelcoming and unattractive - for this level of hotel it is probably the worst I have ever come across.

Review 34:The setting right by the sand dunes and onto the surf beach was beautiful with stunning sunsets. The food was copious and constant and there were lots of inclusive activities, although some were chargeable. The rooms were comfortable and the staff usually very helpful.

Review 35:For those of you that don't know this is a predominately Germanresort, everything is in German and was a little challenging at timesbeing British. The other guests seemed surprised that we had chosento stay there. This wouldn't however have changed my choice tostay here.

Review 36:We had a fantastic time at this resort. The Moroccan staff were veryfriendly and the resort itself is beautiful. Great pool's, spa andbeach. The food was also amazing, some of the best food we had on thewhole trip!!! Would recommend.

Review 37:- club is too oriented for German - No animation around pool - Kids club is not interesting for Non german - bar hospitality with kids poor

Review 38:Location site is excellent Food

Review 39:When we just arrived we did not feel very welcome by the reception. Before we saw the accommodations we were requested to pay in advanced.(Although they already had a credicard as a guarantee). When we askedthe reason they said was the procedure for all "booking.Com"clients (???) which did not sound very welcome...

Review 40:Food was very good, many options and good quality. Very nice place tospend a holidays if you are with children.

Review 41:No scheduled transportation into town. And by that I mean transportationthat doesn't involve continually doing battle with Moroccan taxidrivers about outrageous fares.

Review 42:It was a heavenly break from rural Morocco. Everything was well done. The food was good and well laid out. The staff were excellent. It wasnot Morocco-but it was a great place to regroup and reflect on why onemay not want to relocate to Morocco.

Review 43:98% golf players, mainly clubs or groups. A lot do tables had beenreserved for golf groups. Difficult to find seats as a normal couple. This is very unusual for this type of club hotel.

Review 44:Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Nice and healthy food.

Review 45:Starting from the reception, the check in took ages and the staff wasacting up with an attitude, very cold no smile no useful information isprovided. Then when you go to the room it s even worse, the bed is notcomfortable at all not enough covers, pillows are old and torn. Deadmosquitos in the bathroom, very dirty place. The ac wasn't workinghad to wear my coat at night cause I called the reception a couple oftimes no body bothered. No slippers are provided and no rags on thefloor... I would recommend that they consider a serious relooking of therooms cause it dates back to ages ago.

Review 46:The food and the view on the beach

Review 47:no brainer - very German

Review 48:perfect club - really excellent service - no brains used while there

Review 49:Un hotel calme

Review 50:Too far.Hotel needs a bit of painting.

Review 51:Nothing

Review 52:Everything specially the staff, they are very friendly.

Review 53:Some girls at reception had quite an arrogant appearance and were not helpful at all.

Review 54:Friendly atmosphere. Good gym and great choice of classes.

Review 55:The hotel was Excellent

Review 56:No night clube inside hotel

Review 57:One of the best resort in agadir with large space room and best stuff

Review 58:Local staff quality service

Review 59:would have prefered if they had big beds.instead of two beds put together...not so comfortable

Review 60:great staff and perfect locatioon

Review 61:I asked for some essential stuff like slippers , never go it
