Review 1：The resort is gorgeous. I enjoyed the breakfast at Coral Cafe and the dining experience at Sea Breeze. I love the swimming pools and the beach front. Staff are well trained and friendly.

Review 2：Excellent staff and the buffet was very good a well. We especially enjoyed going to the pool in the evening and because they have 3 levels of pools you can always find an area that's relatively apart from other people and quiet.

Review 3：Variety of food on the menu was not great and a little over priced. But that was the case all over Alona, in most restaurants.

Review 5：Staff are inexperienced and don't know their way around the hotel. The system of bits of paper to sign things to your room is poor and can lead to lots of mistakes - beware and check your bill carefully when you leave.

Review 7：The staff/service is a mixed bag. Some are friendly, others seemlike they hate their job. Staff do not know what is or is not availableat the different bars in the resort. I was sent to 4 differentbars/cafes to get some coconut juice and in the end never got it.

Review 13：The quality of service related to the beach and pool bars as well as lobby restaurant very poor (except new year's eve party): - staff is generally friendly but does not sufficiently pay attention to the guest's needs - you have to wait very long to get the menu, to make your order, to get your food/drinks and to get your bill. You always have to push the staff if you don't want to wait forever. - extremely annoying, if you are there with two little kids, who are thirsty, hungry and bored. No playground for kids.

Review 14：Good location at the alona beach. Nice and clean rooms. Nice swimming pools. Nice gym. Staff in general very friendly. We spent the new year's eve there and enjoyed the party at the beach very much (good food, nice show, staff was very motivated).

Review 15：The guests. I really hate it between the Chinese. They really act like they are at home in their private environment and they have totally no manners. They are also very noisy. Because of this reason I will never come back and I would recommend any European not to go there.

Review 17：1. They are very slow in handling the guests both checking in and out. We have to wait for two hours before getting our room. And we have to keep following up before we are given a room. 2. Their WIFI signal is very poor. 3. The time for your food to be served is at least 30 mins, normally it took more than an hour. 4. They can hardly produce vegetarian meals.

Review 18：The hotel has no focus; they are lost with there strategy. Wasn't everywhere as clean as you schould expect. Would not call this a 5 star resort. Very big and the service does not follow.

Review 22：Very little to complain about but just a rant here on a slightly annoying experience as we checked out. The hotel was full and when we were going out and needed to take the golf cart to our car. Another group of guests who were next in line just rode the golf cart that arrived and didn't even consider that we had kids and have some luggage. The staff did not notice this and I decided it was faster for me to walk to our car and go to the lobby area.

Review 23：The pools! If you want a lot of water to play with for the kids, this is the place to go! The grown ups enjoyed as well.

Review 24：Selection at breakfest is not wide enough. They often forget to reload foods, especially fruits. Front desk not 100% professional, sometimes uncertain, good, but far from perfect. Other staff is nice, cleaning staff is very nice.

Review 38：The wifi was terrible - although signal strength is excellent throughout the resort, the internet access wasn't available and we had to login every few minutes. In the end we used the business centre near the lobby (there are desktop computers there) to confirm to our families that we had arrived safely.

Review 39：Fantastic location on a beautiful beach, the resort has plenty of pool options, bars and exceptionally friendly staff. You can walk along the beach front to a number of restaurants, but the hotel provides great food itself. The breakfast includes a very large and well prepared buffet, and our room had everything we needed (direct pool access room). There's also plenty to do on the island, with the Tarsier sanctuary, Ziplines, Chocolate Hills and island hopping tours all within a days ride on a scooter. We loved it here and wanted to stay longer!

Review 51：Loved our stay at Henann. Pool is huge and clean and they have pool bars that you can swim up to - nice selection of drinks at reasonable prices! ? By far the best hotel on Alona Beach. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Room was spacious and very nice. Dinner buffet is superb if you can get a table outside and the dancing chefs are a must watch ? Alona beach is nice and they provide comfy sun bed cushions, it's just a little annoying with the 'lookie lookie men' trying to sell trips and sunglasses (although that's not the hotel's fault).

Review 52：The WIFI is an embarrassment. It is off and on all the time, and if there is a problem after 10 pm, they will make you wait until the technician comes at 9 am. It is a constant problem and the only blemish on an otherwise perfect stay.

Review 68：It´s not a baby friendly hotel: we asked for the crib for our baby and they told us that they will charge 500 pesos per night! So the baby slept with us in our bed! Regarding the food, they don´t have usual soups (everything is spicy or with seafood), only one, so she eat almost the same soup.

The room was ok except it was next to a room that was under construction and they promply started pounding and running power tools at 6am. There is no communication between staff members, when is the restaurant it is poorly mismanaged and the staff could care a less weather we were there or not. Took 40 minutes to get a lousy cup of coffee. And that was just the tip of the iceburg, As for the facility, the pools were dirty with a lot of floating debries as well as dirt on the bottom. This is the first bad review I have ever left for a resort but i am just that diasppointed, the cost did not match the condition of the facility. Amd it for sure is not a 5 star. They all need to understand what it means to call your self a 5 star. I got better service at the fast food restaurant.

Review 88：I like the service of The FO, they are really entertaining the customer and very passion. I remembered the one who assisted me during my check-in and check-out, her name is Yela. And there was another girl she also remembered the customer when I mentioned that I was recommended by my friend. They are really good.

Review 104：We payed for a poolside room and even payed for a upgrade. ended up on the backside facing a squatter/building site had to listen to a Grinder for 48hrs nonstop, addressed the problem to the staff that did nothing about it or not even offered a new room with the spec we ordered. Review 105：The resort is still not fully operational as there were facilities not open yet; but they charged the rate that is comparable to what 4-5 star resorts in Cebu or bohol charge. There were always construction workers around and some were barefoot walking around in the corridors and in the lobby. We were swimming in the pool and workers were staring at us. There was no toilet in the cafe and in the lobby. We had to go up to a room in the 2nd floor which they opened for use as a toilet. When we were staying there, we had problem getting a table and not enough food as they had a local dining promo which they opened to the locals for only P300; thus restaurant was overflowing and checked-in guests couldn't get in.
