Review 1：The restaurant is awful. Only grab western food to be safe (hamburgers and sandwiches) as the asian food is really bad and we had to leave it on the table more than once. Also, they organize noisy and annoying entertainment for dinner.. We had to wait until it's finished before going to eat. We had to pay to go to Alona beach at nights, for a resort of such level this is really cheap.

Review 2：The beach is AWESOME! Very quiet, white and relaxing. Nice walking in the morning but need to get up early to grab a good spot on the beach beds.

Review 8：Beautiful resort - my wife and I realy nejoyed being there four days. Everything is perfectly clean, our room was big, the same with the bathroom. Great swimming pool. The service is really top, everybody very helpful (the girl at the reception, I think the name is Geraldine was super nice and helpful). Breakfast is very good, as well as dinner - latter at very reasonable prices. The hotel offers car with driver to visit the area - which we did - again at reasonable price. They also arranged to get ferry tickets. We stayed there for New Year eve -and it was lovely, with music on the beach and fireworks.Lovely place!

Review 13：It was a great vacation with my husband. Peaceful getaways from the city. Spacious private white sandy beach, kind staffs, great foods, and neat room... We didn't need to leave this place for 5 days. Will come back for sure.

Review 14：You can't swim in the see (not enough deep and rocky) and also pool is quite small. You could be a little bored after a few days and transport to Alona beach is over priced (no problem, when you accept resort prices, just you could feel ripped, when you know fer price)

Review 23：I lost my pouch during my stay but the staff really went out of his way to help me. I was not able to get his name though but he was really very helpful. They were very organized in reporting the incident to surrendering to the appropriate person. In a matter of few minutes, I got my couch back. Aside from the accomodating and wonderful employees, the place was excellent! The beach and its fine powdery sand was outstanding! I love it's exclusivity and its calm and serene atmosphere. The food was delectable and the room was exactly how I pictured it out! Highly recommended especially if you're looking for privacy.

Review 34：They used to smoke the grass roofs with some stuff to kill bugs I assume. I didn't like the smell, nor the fact to breathe it. Well, just happened once. Some announcement would have been good so we could've gone somewhere else for that time.

Review 35：First time I ever stayed in a resort like this. Great and calm place. All me and my girl wanted, to relax and recharge. Rent a scooter and the island is yours. you can get them between 300-600 Peso. Depending where and automatic or not.

Review 36：Really only regret was that we hadn't checked out water sports rentals at place next door, which had a bit more than one at resort (though we utilized snorkeling & kayak there). Next door had wave runners though we didn't see until too late. This is not a knock to resort though -our own failure to explore earlier. OH-one negative! The breakfast was great first day but choices bit less exciting second & third day & pandesal was always lame day old (& no other choices like puto or ensaymada etc). But overall still good & loved omelette station plus Filipino choices & garlic rice etc.

Review 37：Rooms, staff, beach and restaurant all excellent. I was there with my adult nephew & we both loved it for a couple of days. People talked about how sleepy Bohol was & we could see that but even so while there 3 nights we didn't even get to the fun looking restaurant next door between the resort's restaurant & couple places in town.,nephew got an in-room massage that was outrageously cheap & we heard they are opening a sports bar, which should be a plus.

Needless to say, you couldn't avoid the heat and enjoy the sea view at the same time, and flies and mosquitoes pestered you while dining. Oh, and I think they should replace their heavy wooden beach lounging chairs with something that's lighter and more modern looking.

Review 44：This resort probably has the best beachfront in Panglao island. I headed to Alona beach not long after my arrival knowing that was the island's center of activity but was stunned to see an unkempt beach with topsy turvy resorts and shops that leave very little room to walk comfortably on the shore. The new Hennan Resort was the only place which redeemed that entire beach. I was only too glad to return to Bohol Beach Club, stroll along its well-kept and fine-sand white beach that stretched more than a kilometer to the hip-looking South Palms Resort.

Review 45：Need to take taxi or tricycle to alona at 300peso if arranged by hotel. But I like here more then alona as alona is busy and noisy. Wifi was very slow.

Review 50：Service was excellent! Travelling with 2 young children, my husband and I appreciated the staff's friendliness and the hotel's provisions for kids. There was a welcome pack for them which included things you would have probably forgotten to pack (beach bag, hand sanitizer, neck pillow, beach ball, etc.). There were floaties available for use at the pool area, lifeguards were alert and administered first aid on my son when he scraped his knee. The nurse at the clinic had ointments/creams on hand when my kids needed them. The hotel is quiet enough that adults could relax and because the beachfront is expansive, it never felt crowded during our stay. Food was good, reasonably priced, and their servings generous. Booking, hotel transfers, and check in were a breeze (considering we booked 1 hr prior to departure from Manila!). We would recommend getting the tours that you can book via their transpo partner. If you get a private car (no tour guide), rates are the same as outside and you'll feel safer.

Review 56：It's in a lovely location, private beach wonderful setting. You truly feel as though your in your own little paradise. It was always so peaceful, right on the beachfront. He rooms are nicely decorated, comfy beds although mine was very creaky! Didn't eat at the restaurant other than breakfast. Breakfast was nice a good selection mostly omelette, eggs to order, fruit Hammocks on the beach and away from all the hustle and bussle of alona beach. We loved it.

Our room faced the pool and ocean, and everything was so near. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the way you have a view of the sea from it is fantastic. The beach is also the best we've been to----and we were just in Boracay before this. The sand was white and so fine and soft. The free glass boat tour was a great addition! Saw lots of fish and coral in the nearby reef. Breakfast was amazing too! Great selection, with a view of the ocean. This place is pricer than others, but you won't regret staying here. Love the peace and quiet too, compared to the noise of Alona beach. Will definitely return.

Review 82：the wifi is very slow. and for the romantic dinner, it will be good if they will put more lighting so that couples can enjoy the sea view.

Review 83：I like that the room has a king size bed and that it has complete amenities such as cotton buds, conditioner, lotion. I also like that guests can use their game room for free and that a free bottom glass boat ride is also free for in house guests. howeer we haven't tried it because we enjoyed the beach and the pool. the breakfast is ok but I think they must improve the Filipino breakfast station. We also availed they're romantic dinner by the beach and it was great, there's a hefty serving of food, and the table arrangement is beautiful. they also has a group who serenaded us.

Review 84：Taxi rates were more or less reasonable but I didn't understand why the taxi rate to a church that I want to go to is the same price as that to Tagbilaran Airport. The distance to the church was half of that to the airport.

Review 88：The hotel was pretty isolated and because they don't have metered cabs on the island, they charge $600 peso (about $20 AUD) to get to town about 15 mins drive away. A bit pricy compared to other parts of the Philippines, but somewhat typical of the quality resort that it is. This isn't really the hotel's problem, but travellers should be aware. You can catch a trike (or motorbike side car) for about half the price around Bohol, you can fit one big person or 2 medium sized people in them, or a small Phillo family in them.

Review 89：Everything was catered to, the hotel was very well finished (working taps, toilets with toilet paper, mattress wasn't horrible) and it was exactly what we were after; a resort where you could just hang out all day, chill in a hammock, read a book, order a drink from anywhere and the staff generally spoke pretty good English.

Review 90：The pool closes too early. It closes at 9:30 and the person who rents out the srimming masks stops work at 4:30. This was inconvenient but it didn't impact on our stay. It was beautiful.

Review 91：Everything was good. I especially liked the birds and the band at this beach and the next one. The view from the beach is stunning. The breakfast was good. I lost my phone one night while staying there and went to the restaurant. I found a lot of staff were trying to locate me. It was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

But I realize that this is something that might not be in control of BBC and wasn't a major issue. I didn't come to a beach resort to sit on the Internet, so this issue doesnt bother me much. Review 104：I liked many things here at Bohol Beach Club. The things that stuck out the most for me was the staff, very friendly, helpful, and good English was spoken by all staff that I encountered. I was also surprised to find them cleaning the beach in the early morning hours, overall very surprised and satisfied with BBC, would definitely consider staying here when I come back to Bohol!

Review 105：Sunbeds and chairs at the beach are dated and uncomfortable. Beach is not as nicely cleaned as the beach from the hotel right next to it. Wifi was terrible. Well worse then the two other hotels we also stayed at in the same area. Mixed feelings regarding the staff. Many were very friendly but there were also quite a few which displayed unmotivated behavior resp. even hit on my GF when she was alone at the beach (FYI: They didn't start talking with me when I was alone at the beach).

My husband and I enjoy the cleanliness of the beach and also the landscaping. The Room attendants or Housekeeping staff were all very efficient! The Security Guards were also courteous.

Review 115：It's right there! Right in front of white beach!! From the restaurant and the swimming pool, we could see the ocean and the white beach and feel the sea breeze. The best thing about this hotel is their friendly staff members. They served us always with smiles and made our stay really wonderful. Nothing is more important than professional people serving for us during our vacation. Every night they had entertainment live music by the restaurant and we really enjoyed the music with sea breeze coming from the ocean 50 feet away.

Review 116：Slow service at the restaurant, the first two nights we were there we waited a very long time for dinner because the resort was very full. I remarked about this, the following day the trainee manager apologized again for the slow service in the previous nights and since then we did not wait very long anymore. I did not enjoy most of the food during breakfast, but they had great variety for other meals, and the food was generally decent. Some people might not like the fact that it is located far from Alona beach, but for me that is exactly what I needed because my objective was to relax, and the beach there was great .

Review 117：Private beach, very calm and not crowded. The staff very pleasant and responded to any request easily, they were also very observant and anticipated guests needs. At the restaurant I asked for hot water and lemon and or ginger once (which is not standard in the menu, every time I went back to the restaurant, any of the waiters would ask me if they should bring me the hot water. The resort has a small clinic on site, which came in handy since the resort is not close to the main beach beach were most shops are located.

Review 118：I had a trouble connecting. Mac addresses had to be manually permitted by hotels technitian. The speed is not good either. The sun bed reserve policy should be changed. Advanced hotels introduce policy to remove unattended things from beds. Your own personnel reserves beds and they stay unused for hours. This is unnice for other guests.

Review 122：The breakfast buffet was good but restaurant food was mediocre. The location was beautiful but inaccessible to other beaches and destinations on the island. The resort was so private that a car had to be rented to get in and out of the property.

Review 123：I liked the white powdery sand, the clear blue water, shallow and calm enough to just soak it all in. The nice cool breeze and the clear blue skies completed the picture perfect scene.

Review 124：Beach lacks maintenance. Staff could clean the beach with leaves and the resort can invest in removing the stones and sea urchins from the water
