Review 1：Location was great, just a short walk to central Leiden. Breakfast was wonderful as well and changed a bit from day to day. One thing you can really tell that Jan, the owner, takes much pride in providing a clean, quality stay for his guests and that really says a lot these days. Really enjoyed staying there and in fact, booked another stay again soon because we appreciated it so much, thanks again!
Review 2：One small negative aspect. The shower cabin was designed by somebody who never takes showers, it was impossible to do that without getting the whole bathroom wet.
Review 3：The room, or rooms, if you count the kitchen, was more than ok, with a lovely garden - which we couldn´t use, it was January. Breakfast was of very good standard, without bacon and other heavy stuff, though. Food enough? Definitely.
Review 4：Jan and Wim were extremely friendly and we really enjoyed talking to them. The room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect: convenient to the train station, a nice little park, and in a quiet neighborhood. And we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. Jan takes a lot of pride in what he does and it shows. We had a GREAT experience.

Review 16：I rated the location as fair and I feel I should qualify it. If you are in Leiden for business or studies at the Bioscience Park, the location of this B&B is outstanding. A short and extremely pleasant walk through a lovely park and you are at the Bioscience Park. However, if you are in Leiden just to tour the old town, the B&B is a bit of a hike. The B&B is extremely clean and my room was very comfortable.

Review 43：It didn't get off to a good start when the owner said we didn't reply to his email or phone call where he asked for our arrival time. We responded to both via email and showed him proof. The owner then demanded payment upon arrival. We didn't have sufficient cash (he didn't accept credit cards) and said we would visit an ATM. We returned after diner around 2230 and instead of the owner simply waiting to receive payment early the next day at breakfast (it's not like we were going anywhere), he invaded our space and surprised us with his presence demanding payment. Also, the following evening, there was loud work being done in the house with machinery (drilling?) which lasted until 2200. The noise was very loud and annoying. We will not return.

This place was a perfect location to see the sights. Beach is nearby. Very quiet neighborhood. Free wifi and great free parking. The owner was incredibly helpful and prepared and delivered our breakfast each morning. This place is a superb value and perfect for people wanting more hospitality than what you would get at a chain hotel.
