Review 1：I was traveling with a friend for New Year's Eve, and we booked the last king bed. I included my friend's name on the booking, and when we arrived at the motel, the staff could not find the reservation under my name even though I had paid with my credit card. They asked for photo ID for both me and my friend, which was fine. You had to either leave your keys with the front desk or park in a lot down the street. The couple at the front desk were very nice, but the man who ran the parking lot was very pushy and rude. The room was non-smoking but reeked of cigarettes. The bathroom was not very clean either. The only reason we chose this motel was because of location, but otherwise not worth it.

Review 9：NOt bad, but we kept getting locked out of our room when we were gone for an extended amount of time. We were gone for hours at a time shopping and 3 days in a row we were locked out (stayed from Friday-Monday).

Review 17：I ask for a NON Smoking room,but as soon as you open the room's door, U feel like someone have been smoking in that room forever and there was a smelly ashtray that we place out of the window. Bathroom wasn't clean at all..pee stains on the toilet, hair and dust on the floor, sink drain clogged, we could barely use it; when brush my teeth spit on the toilet.

Review 19：Coffee that you have to wait for and a packaged Danish, crammed into a lobby that holds 4 people maximum is not my idea of a continental breakfast. The standard of cleanliness was far below what I expect. Seems to be the norm for many of these hotel owners now but it is not the accepted norm for me.

Review 24：I have never once complained on where I stayed but this experience was the worst I have ever had. When we got to the hotel I had reserved a king size room and got a double single bed room. The room looked like it had never been cleaned. There was ash all over the nightstand. The floor was a complete mess and hadnt been vacuumed. I went to go to the bathroom and there was pee and hair on the seat. There was an empty condom wrapper by the toilet also. the shower curtain had stuff all over it and the bath was so gross I wore my flip flops in it. We also got a phone call from a creepy indian person saying how beautiful we were. Freaked me the hell out because we are two girls, so I went to the desk to tell them I would call the cops if I got one more phone call. Didnt get another phone call until 11 o clock p.m again just to have us come out and show which car was ours even though when we checked in we gave them all of our information at. There was a woman who worked the front desk who i saw walking around looking in the windows of other rooms so I made sure to keep my curtain closed the whole time. I know you get what you pay for and it was very cheap but I would never in a million years stay there again. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time! Again this is my first and only complaint about anywhere I stayed. I would look somewhere else!

Review 26：This was an absolutely horrible and disgusting experience from the second I arrived to the second I left. I booked online for two days for just myself and the room came to $254.00. I figured it's not bad considering that it's the weekend and close to the boardwalk and boyz II men were in town for their show. I arrived at 11am expecting that they'd have my room ready because I requested early check in. Not only was it not ready, they told me to come back at three. Before I walked out upset, they called me back and said " they'd do me a favor" and check me into a room that was already clean. Their idea of "free breakfast" was expired cheese it crakers and a plastic container offering a choice between packs of moldy blueberry muffins and expired honey buns. I went into room #125 and it was filthy. The furniture was extremely out dated, damaged and the room reaked of cigarette smoke when I requested a non smoking room. All of the towels and wash cloths were horribly stained, and the carpet was gross and sticky. The shower curtains had holes and stains and hadn't been changed probably in months. The phone in the room was taken from another hotel , the small chips of soap they offer was barely enough to wash my face, the tv cut on and off when it felt like it, the wifi was a joke, And there was caked up dust every where. My sister arrived with our cousin because I figured, If I paid $250 for this room for one person, I might as well have company, as soon as they show up, they tell her she can't park there... Even after I show proof that I'm staying in that nasty room. After going back and forth,They say that she can park there but to leave her car key so that they can move it later if they need the space. We said just call the room and we will move it, they said no, they don't do that. So we went back and forth again when we threatened to call the police, they left it alone.

Review 34：The cleaning crew either needs more training or more supervising to do their job right. I always bring a bottle of Lysol or disinfecting wipes with me in any hotel I stay in so I can disinfect everything in the room, even the remote control ( my advice to everyone out there, especially if you stay in hotels often ...). When I cleaned/disinfected the table/desk and chairs, I couldn't believe how dirty the room was. The carpet had cigarette burns on it and the pillows (or pieces of foam I should say) seemed to have been purchased from the nearest $1.00 store. For a hotel in such a great location, the owner needs to put his/her hands in the pocket and spend some money to make some much needed changes/upgrades in this hotel. I don't know if the inspectors even gave a passing grade here, but someone needs to look into that. The so called AC is just a big noise-making unit which I doubt will work during the hot summer days. The ice machine is in the office so guests have to go there to get ice, such an inconvenience. We paid over $100/night, not worth the money. There are cheaper motels in better conditions. We picked this one because of an event we went to see at the Tropicana.
Review 35：The location, the location, the location!!! Also, the staff acted promptly when we asked for a room change because the one prepared for us smelled like someone had just finished smoking his/her lungs out. The front desk staff told us that their rooms are all smoke-free but people don't care and nothing is done to make them obey this policy, unlike in larger hotels where guests are charged for smoking in non-smoking rooms. I appreciated the free wifi even though the code was put on the key without anything being said to us until we asked. . The refrigerator is a plus if it could be cleaned from time to time.

Review 46：Terrible stay! We did not sleep all night!! the guests above us must have had a party. thought the ceiling would fall on us!!! Loud talking, banging, sounded like they were wrestling on the floor. Doors banging shut, people coming and going, shouting!!! This went on almost all night long!!! We were afraid to complain for fear of retaliation by the group. We will never stay here again!

They didnt give me a refund offer a free atay or half my money back and the second room we moved to had blood stains on the sheers we complain about that the manager act like they disbt want to get someone to change the sheets either no good customer service at all as much as i stay there after that I will never again or recommend anyone
Review 62：*HEALTH CONCERN BEWARE* My fiance and I stayed in a very dirty room where there was NO heat. When asked to move rooms, we were told that they were "booked", even though there was only ONE other car in the lot. I told the guy who spoke very broken English that that was not acceptable. He said he would send technician and I refused demanding another room. We were moved directly next door and in the middle of the night we both woke up with a very strong cough. It is a day and a half later and we still have a scratchy, irritable cough. The room was NOT clean and the air quality in the room was poor at best. The state needs to look into this. HEALTH ALERT! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!

Review 68：Extremely dirty place, the renovation hasn't been done for ages. Thebathroom door was broken, the mattresses had the springs sticking out.And by the way, the room was $198 per night!!! When we checked in (onSaturday, the 6th of September) we discovered some cloth, flip-flops andother personal belongings still in the drawer and in the cabinets. Whenwe called the front desk to report the discovery the receptionist askedus if it's of any bother. We said that not really, and the reply waspretty simple: "Than leave it alone". Interesting, if the maideven bothered to come to the room to change the sheets. In the morningwe witnessed the following picture: the maid was throwing the bags withthe trash from the second floor terrace (to lazy to bring it down), oneof the bag broke and all the rubbish was laying in the walkway, and Imean the garbage (food leftovers, etc) was laying around in the radiusof 3-4 feet covering the walkway and part of the parking lot. It waslaying there for 40 minutes at least, before the maid came down andunenthusiastically picked it up not even bother sweeping... Should Itell more? People! Stay away from this place!

When I spoke to the managerhe said it was nothing he could do. Dust balls all on the carpet. Verydisappointed. This hotel should not be on your list of suggested hotelsto say in. Even in a dire situation, I would never stay there again!!!I would rather sleep in my car!!

Review 77：Went to Check in at 4 pm on a Wednesday as was told there was no parking spots available. I said to the clerk, "But you are a motel, you are required to give me a spot to park my car." After 15 minutes someone moved a van and I had a tight spot on the very limited lot. They gave me a room at street level, no choice was offered to me. You walk in, within 5 feet is the first of 2 double beds, well worn carpet,and a bathroom smaller than some airplanes I have been on.Flat screen mounted on cinderblock wall, they put a govenor on the volume control, it only goes so loud. Bed linens totally uninviting, I slept on top of the bed spread with a towel as a buffer. I still walked away the next morning with bed bug bites. Next time I will sleep in the car, it's better than this place.
Review 78：Location is just steps away from the Quarter Entertainment Center at the Tropicana. The area is so busy and well light there is little chance your room will be broken into or you will be robbed going in or out of your room. You can view your car easily from the small parking lot they provide directly in front of the rooms.

The carpet in the room wassoaked. I notifed the staff and they gave me the plunger and told me tofixit! I told them no, and the guy, finally came in. Once fixed, theydid not give us anything to dry the floors, so, I had to use thecomforter to dry the floor, so beware of the comforter you sleep with.The manager would not give us another room, or even our money back. Theyblamed us for the horrible stay! L&I should shut this place down! Ihave no idea how it passes inspections to stay open.
