Review 1：During my last stay at this hotel was really bad. Firstly the power was off many time. Cold in the room even if i told the receptionist they were not able to solve it. Later on during one of the night the power was off and we didn't have heat in the room for more than 4-5 hours. Imagine that with two little kids. As well the water in the swim pool was really cold. I told them about this issue but nothing changed for the next days. The swim pool was one of the reasons i choose the hotel but unfortunately i couldn;t use it. Sorry to say but this was a bad experience and i wouldn't repeat it with this hotel.

Review 2：the personnel from the bar was nice, the food also good altough a bit expensive

Review 3：The sleeping room of the duplex suite is extremely unconfortable to access and to sleep - steep stairs and awfully unfonfortable huge bed. At night a soffocating experience. Not advised for claustrophobic people. Staff spoke hardly English. the carpet was dirty.

Review 5：We arrived at 12 noon, got a room at 2.30 p.m.. I booked a room with twin beds and a balcony, first they said it was impossible. We refused the room which had no balcony and a double bed and we had to wait another half hour and then we finally got what we booked. Absurd. Room was not cleaned daily.

Review 7：mainly the staff were helpful, but sometimes not. the room was advertised as being air conditioned, but actually the bedroom bit was not and it was stifling as it had a low ceiling and tiny window. I asked for a fan and without even saying they would check into it they just said 'no'. Also it's a bit remote and taxis were quite expensive even for Romania. people are raving about the hotel and decor, I found it a bit strange..

Review 9：The swiming pool is inside a building and - in the summer - the air is hot on the s pool area. I recommend to the hotel open the swiming pool room, during summer.

Review 11：-ugly exterior design of the building; -although the owner spared no expense for wooden furniture and decorations, the other gear in the room (sink, toilet bowel, shower cabin, etc.) is of poor quality; -no AC available in the rooms; -no card system available to open the room - just the old key;

Review 13：We had a duplex suite reserved, but we couldn't sleep at the superior level, it was extremely hot, we couldn't breath. So, because there were no rooms available they suited us with one single bed we connected with the 1m sofa. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep 3 persons on 1.20m, and I am pregnant. They moved us the second day to o standard room which hadn't air conditioning and the shower from bathroom was leaking in the room when we were taking a shower. It was very disappointing, I was expecting a 3 days vacation to relax, but in exchange we confronted a lot of issues, not acceptable in a 4 stars hotel.

Review 14：Rooms well equipped, nice decorations. The staff was very polite and helpful,nice pool, good food but expensive.

Review 15：We booked an apartment which should have, according to Booking.com, AC and 2 bedrooms, suitable for 4 adults. After a short look over the available pictures, where only one bedroom was shown, we called the property by phone – once again, we were assured that 2 separate bedrooms (each one with a private bathroom), are available (we mentioned that we are 2 families, i.e., 4 adults). The cruel reality was: one huge living, with AC, but one bedroom without AC (and having the bathroom with no private entrance); the other bedroom was in the attic, with no AC either, with no entrance door (!), very small – only kids with 1,20 m high or less could use it (and the adjacent bathroom was even smaller). It was very hot – the small AC in the living worked 48 h without success for any of the bedrooms. We try to switch the apartment with 2 normal rooms, but we found that no other room of the property has AC (in fact, neither hallways nor stairways, neither the restaurant nor the lounge), despite the information on Booking.com; we try to leave, but – according to the policy of Booking.com – we were informed that the first night will be cashed anyway… This is a terrible weak point – who is responsible for such incorrect information, and who should pay for this??? They gave themselves 4 stars (but in the attic there were no chairs, no wardrobe, only a bed which effectively fill the room!), ask for a 4 star price, and show only convenient photos of available rooms – and Booking.com let the tourists to be robbed??? I expect some compensation! We ruined our weekend staying 2 nights there, in a terrible heat (under the roof there were 50 Celsius degrees or more), with two of us climbing the narrow stairs and kicking their heads… and the price was not at all very low! We should mention also that Wi-Fi was very weak in the living and almost null (i.e., useless) in any of the bedrooms?

Review 16：Even though we were supposed to have our room at 14.00 (as booking condition said), at 15.20 it was not yet ready. As we had to wait we asked if we could to a late checkout, but of course it was not possible. We had the duplex suite. The bedroom was upstairs and it was so damn hot in there because the air conditioning unit could not reach it.

Review 17：Located a bit out of the way, you need to take the car to get anywhere. Minimal outdoor space, just a paved, unattractive car park at the front and a small sloped garden at the back. Not child friendly in that respect. Sloppy room cleaning.

Review 18：Comfortable room, friendly staff, good restaurant and service. Good overall impression. They have obviously made efforts to give the place a boutique hotel feel, but the results border on kitsch.

Review 19：I really enjoyed the breakfast. My husband prefers a more American/ English breakfast, so if you are looking for hot potatoes or bacon, you won't find it here. Also no elevator, but that didn't affect us at all. We had an awesome stay. The apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room space. Plus several balconies. Pool was clean and warm. Dinner was outstanding.

Review 27：The food was bad and very expensive. I wouldn't eat there even if it was free. Breakfast was poor. I strongly recommend eating somwhere else in the area. To go to the spa area you have to cross the restaurant to go outside and enter the other building. This is not elegant.

Review 29：We stayed one night at the Emire and were most impressed with this luxury hotel. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with shower. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. A highlight of the stay was a few hours relaxation around the swimming pool-lovely clear water and excellent bar service. Very well positioned15 minutes walk to the Bran Castle. All the staff were most helpful. We will certainly stay here again.

Review 53：Although it was not a big problem for us, there are some hotel policies that made us feel that we are being treated as thieves instead of customers, like having to pay upfront without even a 5 minute delay to freshen up, breakfast was very strict (only a very specific tea flavor included - for any other flavor you have to pay), you cannot have breakfast on the terrace just 1 meter from the tables inside, etc. A lot of weird various restrictions that you don't typically encounter in hotels of this type.

Review 58：The room was great, very clean and nice decorated, as the entire hotel is. The stair connecting the living room to the bedroom has made our daughter’s play-ground but has one problem: the door connecting the stair to the bedroom is rather low so you need to take care not to hit the ceiling. The restaurant is ok – you should try the curry chicken. The breakfast was perfect to our taste. On the Saturday evening they had an event featuring traditional dishes, a campfire and live cooking along with traditional drinks (it is charged extra if you want to attend and it worth every cent). The hotel has a swimming pool and spa center. The pool is heated and very clean and it is a pleasure to relax in a cool November evening. The only draw-back is that is no direct connection between the hotel and the pool and you need to go outdoors (5 meters -but they matter when is cold and you have a small kid with you). Nevertheless they said that their plans are to build a connection between the pool and the main building and a tennis court in the near future.
