Reviews for FantaSea Resorts at Atlantic Palace

Review 1:Staff was not very friendly :( .,.: parking was horrible ..!!! The view to the suite face the back other buildings:/ we keep the drape close the entire stay .

Review 2:The suite was spacious .. The shower and jet bath was great comfortable bed

Review 3:Not enough staff at checkin, not enough indoor parking ended up in outside lot. Restaurant was under construction not a good value even though we had a discounted rate: bed and pillows were not comfortable

Review 4:Location, easy to find clean

Review 5:The property was very nice rooms were very clean expected I also did not expect the Jacuzzi I thought that by coming for New Year's eve I was just going to get a charged up overpriced room but I was happily mistaken thank you very much

Review 6:Room service would make this the absolute perfect hotel but the kitchenette kind of helps you forget.

Review 7:the view from the room we stayed in was amazing, the location is perfect, walking distance to almost everything you need.

Review 8:That my short vacation was over.

Review 9:I enjoy watching the sun rise in the morning and watching the sunset in the evening. I love being able to walk on the boardwalk or watching the boardwalk from the beautiful view of my room.

Review 10:room sound isolation is not perfect, almost can clearly hear talking from the neighbour room

Review 11:the location is perfect the sea view at high floor is amazing the studio kitchen things are convenient

Review 12:There is a guy in information area offering 50 bucks back if you participating a tour and you have to pay upfront to be in. Looks suspicious and don't understand why no one was there stopping him. Stuff is rude as well. The whole experience is not good at all.

Review 13:Loved the apartment. We were there for 5 days for the miss america pageant, so it was nice having the extra room. My 83 year old mother came with us and she loved it, especially the view. The hotel staff was so helpful as well.

Review 14:They pressure you to take tours for the time shares. My husband and I went there for our 1 year wedding anniversary and didn't want to be bothered. They asked us when we checked in we said no, they then called us the next day to ask us once again.

Review 15:The room was beautiful!

Review 16:The room were worn and tired. The air conditioning functioned poorly leaving the room uncomfortable. The price far exceeded the quality.

Review 17:The front desk staff were excellent in terms of helpfulness and friendliness.

Review 18:No complaints...

Review 19:The check in process was so easy, and i love the fact the parking was very convenient. And I loved my ocean front room that I was promise.

Review 20:No free wifi

Review 21:Staff helpful, huge rooms, parking low cost right next door, gorgeous views. Had elderly mother with us, staff gave complimentary wheelchair.

Review 22:The rooms should have walk in showers, especially for older people

Review 23:I Love the view of the ocean and boardwalk. went you check in the people at the desk were very helpful.

Review 24:No balcony, no light at the shower place , old Merror at the shower place, no closet , beside the bed,the reception was ugly to us ,accept a tall gentleman , rude color 50's lady , the flooring wasn't hard wood , was just Earthenware that it .thank you

Review 25:I like the view from the top , the swimming pool and the gaming place, and the one step to the board walk ice machin

Review 26:Could not check in until 4:00 and staff was not accommodating letting us use the facilities before check in. Also did not like the sales pitch to participate in the time share

Review 27:Location and the layout of the studio apartment

Review 28:Calling for info regarding surrounding area and being told I don't know and then being given incorrect information.

Review 29:Pool area, front desk check in staff

Review 30:My experience was great! The only thing I didn't like was that the hallways are very dark and depressing.

Review 31:It was a really great price for the location and the cleanliness of the hotel.

Review 32:We booked the hotel through booking.com, and having never been there, we were confused because we got an email for fantasea resort, and couldnt find the hotel because it just says Atlantic Palace on the hotel. also our search to find our hotel was based on Free Parking, and Free Wifi and this hotel is what came up, so that was disappointing. nobody wants to pay almost 13$ a night to stay at their hotel.

Review 33:The area was nice, and the room and views were very good

Review 34:One of the check in personal needs to get some Patience. Only three elevators which the staff also uses. This brings the expirence down alot. Whoever designed this property didn't think it through to well!

Review 35:Location and room was the best about this stay.

Review 36:Some rooms were remodeled while others were clearly not. The elevators took forever!!

Review 37:The size of the rooms were great! It was near the boardwalk and located near Ceasar's and other nightlife.

Review 38:The location on the boardwalk, was hard to find with directions and the parking garage was very very small and tight to move around, cars were getting hit while trying to park!

Review 39:The ocean view room was beautiful, we got lucky to have a new room very clean and nice!

Review 40:Elevators were a major problem. Only 3 to share between 31 floors of guests and maids, bellhops, and other employees. Wait was at least 20 minutes and stopped at every floor! Ridiculous!

Review 41:Location! Pool was nice but small.

Review 42:Check in was run poorly Took almost 20 minutes to get Elevator after being allowed to check in then took another 20 minutes to get elevator to leave room After spelling in

Review 43:Very rude reception except one. Erica and manager are completelyunacceptable at their position. Compliant to booking.com but no help .only inputs no output received.

Review 44:Nothing

Review 45:The jacuzzi was dirty. The mini fridge made loud noises One front desk clerk was a lil rude. Had to pay for parking. Indoor pool size was not what the it appeared to be in the photos. (5x5 ) Pull out coach was horrible.

Review 46:Location and view was the best thing that we enjoyed. Also enjoyed use of an in-room safety box.

Review 47:The only negative thing about the room was the Furniture, Bedroom TV's an the Appliances were outdated for the price we paid an the beauty of the hotel.

Review 48:We loved the beautiful Ocean View we had from the living room and Bedroom. Also the size of our room fit our families needs . The jacuzzi In the master bedroom was a added bonus. I loved the fact we could walk out of the hotel an be right on the board walk. I will most diffently stay at this hotel again an also recommend This hotel to family an friends.I also loved the fact that the bell staff was there to accommodate my baggage an the car port was succure an in walking distance. I'll most diffently return to this hotel in the future !

Review 49:Had no tub, only stand up shower that leaked water all the way to the living area. No full length mirror and no closet or dresser for clothes., elevators take long, no room service, only food open late was vending machines.

Review 50:The view was nice

Review 51:I like that it was secured. U have to walk pass the front desk/security to get in or use one other door, but need your key to swipe. Other hotels have a billion doors u can just walk in and do what ever u pleased. The room felt like a mini apartment. It had everything u needed down to the kitchen supplies. Bathroom tub had huge mirror connected. Eating table, sofa with pull out bed attached, nice TV with cable, our bed was soft, swim pool/hottub and our view of the ocean. Everything was great!

Review 52:That I had to eventually leave. Lol .

Review 53:The staff was very nice , hotel and room was clean . Swimming pool was beautiful and great view of the beach from our room.

Review 54:The door to the hallway rattled when the window was open. May not seem like a big deal but it got annoying after a few hours. Nice option to have a window to open and hear the ocean though.

Review 55:The room facilities and the view were great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was right on the boardwalk, which got a little loud at night even on the 9th floor. The area around the hotel is a little shady with a few strip joints but it is Atlantic City after all.

Review 56:Hotel was a little outdated. The signage from the rooftop outside needs to be replaced and maybe can add something to attract Guests to stay at the hotel.

Review 57:It was quiet with no interruptions. From the room, looking out from the window you can see the beautiful view of the beach and Boardwalk. Staff was kind and check in was done in a timely basis.

Review 58:I did not like the fact that room we had did not have an oven to bake! But I heard that there were some that did . I would just request that kind of room next time! I love to cook

Review 59:the staff were nice! Even tho we did a late check in there was someone at the desk and attentive ! They were familiar with the area n knew all the places that people in my age group would like!

Review 60:Apparently this is a 'time share' facility so be prepared for 'the sales call' which came at 4 in the afternoon just as we were all napping /renergizing for the night. I was also shocked that I had to clean my own room - stripping the beds, taking the garbage out, piling the towels which seemed a bit offensive after paying $180 a night. I'm sure we could have stayed elsewhere (for less) and not had to deal with that. Paying for wifi that was basically dial up was a huge turnoff and the game room on the second level entertained my three teenage boys for less than a 1/2 hour…they felt it was pretty dated.

Review 61:The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to walk to all the casinos and the pier mall (which was our favorite). The room was spacious and clean..but the shower was VERY dated and with lots of standing water while you bathed…kinda yucky. The view from our room was beautiful..sunset and city lights (that could easily be blocked by the drapes so no worries about that keeping you up). The diner downstairs was handy with nice folks working there- but EVERYTHING was served with plastic and coffee in a styrofoam cup- so made me think about the amount of WASTE. Overall fine place to stay. We were there for a family reunion so it was nice to have us all under one roof and have mini kitchenettes.

Review 62:-Even though they stated it was a queen bed. They stated it was a "hotel queen bed" however it was the size of a full sized bed. -For my 3 night stay house keeping never showed up even with all the complaining I did with the front desk.I had trash overflowing and a large pile of towels piling up in bathroom. -Parking garage was very trashy and NO ELEVATOR. Was informed after had to pay $12 a day for parking. -After my checkout I did do a fair amount of complaining so they refunded the parking fee which I didn't know about and refunded a nights stay. A very horrible experience will not go there again. BEWARE!!!!

Review 63:-Was a very modern room -Lobby was nice -Hotel right on boardwalk -Leather sofa -Nice kitchen area -Good view

Review 64:No one came to clean the room even though we give a heads up first room had no heat

Review 65:view and location of room front desk dealt with the issue that our room never got cleaned in a very professional manner after first room had no heat, front desk ensured we got moved to a different room with a better view.

Review 66:The staff very unfriendly. It took about half an hour to check in, they could not find my reservation even though I had my confirmation number. Then they could find me to check out, saying we never checked in. Not very caring or professional.

Review 67:The location was excellent. The room and view of the beach was awesome.

Review 68:First and foremost no wifi, you need to go down in 2nd floor to have it, garage is seperate which is not even connected to the hotel building, no free parking, walls are not soundproof, noisy hallways, bath tub is dirty. Its not worth staying, ill never come back here anymore, its not worth the money you pay.

Review 69:Nothing except the view outside.

Review 70:Not that I didn't like it, but was disappointed that we couldn't have gotten a 2 bedroom suite. But I understood the hotel was booked. We will Definitely be doing another stay.

Review 71:My Friends had never been to AC, so I surprised them with a stay there. The rooms were awesome, great views and being on the boardwalk was perfect for exploring. The Staff were very helpful Especially Dewy, who assisted us with our baggage during check in and check out.

Review 72:It was on the boardwalk, and had a great view of the ocean

Review 73:The manger Kelly was very rude, and not interested in helping solve the problem with the brown water, the maintain lady was extremely rude and impatient.

Review 74:I requested a front view because it was a honeymoon didn't get it. The water was brown asked to change rooms instead was told to run the water for 15 minutes. Parking was an inconvenience since we had to park on the 5th floor them to find out we had to go downstairs walking to get to the hotel (I have a bad foot).

Review 75:I like Everything here at Bluegreen...This is my 3rd time staying here this year & I've been coming here for 2 yrs. I'll be back in April 2015!!

Review 76:Hotel parking expensive, wifi only available for about 10 minutes in the morning, male member of staff very unhelpful, rude and lazy.

Review 77:Location, cleanliness, well equipped apartment, good sea views and along the boardwalk. Security staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Review 78:Upon viewing my bill once arriving home found a charge on my card for 132.10 that I had paid for on 4/14/2014. My bill that I had okay on my card was 456.30. I have called twice to be told that manager are in meeting. My bank has been made aware. Just be aware.

Review 79:View from my room.

Review 80:ROOM WAS SMALL, BUT VERY NICE ! PARKING GARAGE WAS TIGHT. RESTAURANT COULD BE A LOT BETTER

Review 81:SECURITY VERY ATTENTIVE,STAFF EXCEPTIONAL,LOCATION GREAT,PRICED REASONABLE.

Review 82:Would have preferred a two bedroom Air conditioner control was either on or off, could not regulate temperature

Review 83:Nice Bed Well Equipped Secure Accommodating Staff

Review 84:The room was just okay, but the staff was not very accommodating. We needed bathroom supplies and they never delivered. They would not let us settle our bill the night before and it took about 45 mins to check out at 5:30am the next morning making us late to leave.

Review 85:The location was good.

Review 86:THE FACT THAT WE HAD TO LEAVE THE WATER RUNNING BEFORE BEING ABLE TO SHOWER DUE TO WATER BEING YELLOW!!! THE PHONE CALL INTERRUPTING MY SLEEP TRYING TO SELL ME TIME SHARES!!! JUST WISHED YOU WOULD HAVE INCORPERATED THE PITCH INTO THE CHECK IN PROCESS. CERTAIN RCI RESORTS IN LAS VEGAS USE THIS METHOD.

Review 87:Ocean view was awesome. Staff was cordial.

Review 88:Nothing to complain about.

Review 89:Closeness to Boardwalk ,cleanliness of the room, excellent view of the Boardwalk from my room and kitchenette made me felt like home away from home.

Review 90:The lobby and check-in process was somewhat disorganized as folks who were staying at Atlantic Palace Suites (different from Atlantic Palace, a Bluegreen Vacation Resort, where we were staying) were in line to check-in, but of course their reservations couldn't be found as their check-in was down the hall. Better signage and more than one person working check-in on a holiday weekend at prime time (5-6pm) would have been helpful. Having to wait in line to check-in then go get a parking permit from the tiny security desk, where the security person and bell hop were more concerned with ordering dinner than helping guests, was inefficient at best. Apart from Sebastian, the overworked check-in clerk, who was quite pleasant when he finally got to me (maybe because I remarked on how he needed some help - I had heard him tell an upset traveler the manager on duty had stepped out - at this time of day???), the rest of the staff we saw, security, bell hops, were not at all professional or engaged in helping guests but more interested in talking amongst themselves and ordering dinner. There appeared to be no management present at the time to oversee efficiency or attention to guests. Fortunately, the clientele at the time didn't seem to have high expectations, perhaps because of the price, but having stayed at some upscale hotels in AC, such as the Water Club, these employees had no "hussle" or professionalism, and no tips either! (Generally, in order to get a tip, you have to do more than push the button to open the handicapped door for someone with a cartload of suitcases.) The other issue was parking, which we thought was included in the price of the room, but for which we were charged $12 per day.

Review 91:We had read the reviews and requested an oceanfront room on an upper floor well in advance of our arrival since these rooms had been recently renovated. That is exactly what we got and it was quite nice, particularly for the money - and on Labor Day weekend no less! The studio room was somewhat small but certainly adequate for two, with spectacular views of the ocean and boardwalk. It was nicely renovated, clean and comfortable, although we were surprised the only bed was a queen-size and the sheets were pilled. But these were minor concerns given the dirt cheap price (under $150/night with all taxes & fees), great view, direct access to the boardwalk and nicely renovated room. It was not a luxury suite but it was certainly much nicer than most of what's available on the boardwalk, and much cheaper. If you want luxury, go to the marina and pay for the Water Club, but if you want to be on the boardwalk, as we did for a concert at Boardwalk Hall, this is a great value.

Review 92:I wouldn't have called it an ocean view room. You had to tilt your head to see a small portion of the boardwalk/ocean. The elevators took forever. Had to walk five flights of stairs to get to our car in the parking garage. But these things aren't deal breakers for me.

Review 93:The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was right on the boardwalk and not a far walk from Boardwalk Hall. It wasn't obviously dirty (I'm picky).

Review 94:My only negative was that the unit had a very musty smell to it, as if it had not been rented in a while, and the A/C turns itself to a warmer temperature automatically at night, causing the unit to warm up.

Review 95:The location of the property is excellent, it is in the middle of the boardwalk, making everything accessible. The accommodations are terrific for the budget conscious travler who would like to spend less on food (full kitchen, minus an oven). Nice to have a quite location to sleep and relax away from bustle of the casinos.

Review 96:We sat through a resort ownership presentation ..... A resort employee approached us in the lobby and asked us to sit through a one and a half hour presentation. Now,we had sat through this presentation once before many yrs. ago and decided that this was not something we would use, so we declined...no problems., The employee told us how things have changed and we should really check it out. His offer of free dinner to get us to attend turned into seventy five dollars in cash, two free show tickets, and a free weekend at the resort. We finally said yes we will go. Upon arrival, we met with the salesperson who was suppose to do our presentation. He was one of the rudest people I have ever met!! He actually said to us "I hope I am never in a position where I have to sit for two hours to collect a lousy one hundred dollars ." I was very offended by his remarks. Throughout the whole time we were in there we were informed of his position of wealth. How he owned many food establishments in the casinos and in the other places. Also has many properties he rents out. Now my husband and myself are both hard working people. We do not beg for money on the streets to survive. I was never so offended as I was by this man who made it sound like we had to come and collect our money from him or our family would starve. Never again!!!

Review 97:Loved having the conveniences of home all in one room!! The spa bath was also a welcome surprise. Everything was very clean and in good working order. We could not have asked for more. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Review 98:Room was spacious and came with a great view of Atlantic City. We had a slight issue with the bathtub and staff corrected it in a very timely fashion.

Review 99:Not enough elevators for its size. But you can always take the stairs down or even up if you are not at a too high level. We took the stairs down a few times from level 25. But really if you are on vacation there is no problem. Guests and staff waiting for elevator were all relaxed happy and friendly lots of jokes/laughts. Fun times!

Review 100:Clean room, friendly staff, the possibility to use the kitchen is geat especially if you go with kids and want to be able to heat milk/soup or boil an egg. Close to the sea. The pool was clean and water warm. Good quality for the money spent.

Review 101:The refrigerator and freezer did not give ample cooling, so any bottles we placed in the freezer did not freeze at all. I would have hoped that the staff at check in and check out spoke about the security deposit, there was only a paper that explained it but if someone missed the paper then it would have been a surprise. One of the parking attendants was a little condescending and rude to us at entry to the garage.

Review 102:The staff inside was very welcoming and they were always there to help in anything you needed. The room was more than what we expected and the view was breathtaking, straight onto the pier and the ocean. The kitchen was bigger than what we expected and there was so much room in the studio. It was very convenient to have an exit straight on to the boardwalk.

Review 103:The Floor Wasn't Glued Proper SO It Was Sticking up. Could cause injuries. The sheets had stains and they don't clean the floor. The bathroom sink keeps getting clogged up. If it wasn't for the view I could of just leave

Review 104:The view.

Review 105:the elevators were horrendous walking down from the parking lot was nasty its a long walk

Review 106:loved the room and the view bed was so comfortable staff was pleasant and happy pool was clean and nice loved the game room

Review 107:The room was a bit rough around the edges. The dishes were not cleaned from day to day and the complimentary coffee was not replenished.

Review 108:The staff was excellent.

Review 109:Trouble checking in with same debit card I used to pay for 1st night over phone. Had to finally use cash. Booked a room with 2 double beds, as shown in picture. Instead got 1 bed and a pull out coach. Rediculous!! My daughter had to pull out, make her own bed, and sleep with bars in her back!! Unacceptable!! Elevator not working. Had to wait up to 20 mins. every time we needed to take elevator up or down. Had a lot of difficulty getting in and out of tub. No where did it say that u had to be able to get into a tub that was so high! Paying $6.95 for WiFi for a 24 hr. period. Unbelievable!! Any hotel I have ever stayed in offers free WiFi!! No maid service! When they knocked at 9am, I said to come back in a little while, they never did! Ran out of towels, and toilet paper!! I would NEVER go back and will caution all I know not to book there!

Review 110:We were very happy with the room. The kitchenette allowed us to cook breakfast, make lunches for the beach, and keep our drinks cold. We loved exiting the front door, crossing the boardwalk and being on the beach. Sebastian at the front desk is fantastic! Great room for the price. We will go back again!

Review 111:I can not something that I didnt like , all was perfect

Review 112:All is amazing but Htl so comforysble no smoking all clean and wonderful Ocean View , and all personal that work there are doing great job THANK YOU BLUEGREEN!

Review 113:The food shops could of been better more brochures in lobby maps oflocal resterants pool needs renoviated

Review 114:The hotel location was excellent staff was friendly room was clean

Review 115:The bed could have been a real queen sized bed...even though it wascomfortable. There was no one available to talk about acquiring aBluegreen timeshare, and the front desk agents had no informationto provide.

Review 116:I loved the full ocean view from our window. The efficiency suite wasreally nice and the bed was comfortable. The Jacuzzi worked great. Allstaff was pleasant including the parking attendants. Plenty ofhandicapped parking was available.

Review 117:Parking garage is not attached to hotel. Majority of staff was unpleasant. Man at desk for parking voucher was clipping his nails and didn't acknowledge us pleasantly. Also, lady at front desk didn't greet us, she just looked at us with an annoyed look when I told her we were there to check in. Both started the first impression on a negative foot. Poor quality of paint in bathroom, when showering the paint was coming off mirror on side. The bathroom also smelled, and pieces of the outside of the tub were lose. The towels were old, and in order to get a change of towels each day you have to call and ask, they aren't provided with the daily cleaning.

Review 118:Location, (on boardwalk) views,(Full row of windows with beach view) kitchenette and updates. The gentleman who helped us bring our items to our room was quick, helpful and friendly.

Review 119:Slow Elevator The pool is not very deep The television did not have many channels There wasn't enough maids There was no free wifi

Review 120:Beach View Hot tub Mints at the front desk the room was clean and the air worked good Arcade The exercise room is like a personal gym The big -bathroom and tub

Review 121:in march, we booked a room facing the ocean, when we got there, it was not available. We booked for 3 nights, had to leave after the 2nd night, could not get any refund on the 3rd night. Asked someone at the front counter if they had newspapers here, said no, next day saw the USA today on the counter. asked about shows at the casino, front desk had no info. Casinos did have very few shows on random nights, no bingo, and tried to play in a poker tournament, 2 were cancelled because only 4 to 5 people signed up the other 2 tournaments only had 14 to 16 people. our time share is in vegas and we were very disappointed in atlantic city.

Review 122:being on the boardwalk

Review 123:Refridgerator was too small for a 4 day stay. Had requested at booking for full size fridge for diabetic diet so if you plan on bringing food to cook, there is no room in fridge for food. Only a small bar size fridge.

Review 124:wonderfull hotel. Everything was fantastic. Secure Parking, attentive Staff , housekeeping, amenities.

Review 125:Bicycles couldn't be brought into one's room which is rather inconvenient for people there to participate in a triathlon. But they do have a secure room into which the bikes can be stored/and retrieved by security.

Review 126:The room has great amenities: stoveop, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker. Opened the cupboard and there were dishes, water glasses, wine glasses. Opened a drawer and there was silverware. In another drawer there was a salid mixing bowl, pots & pans. Plus there was a block with various sized knives and scissors.

Review 127:How slow the elevators are in the morning. I had to take the stairs or cram myself on an elevator from waiting for half an hour. The tub was filling with water when I took a shower and would not go down the drain.

Review 128:The studio amenities. The quietness in the hallway. The hotel is on the boardwalk and across from the beach. The restaurant inside of the hotel serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner of many variety of meals.

Review 129:Parking

Review 130:Parking needs to be free..

Review 131:No breakfast

Review 132:It was convenient to the location we were attending.

Review 133:Parking fee of $12.00 was high. Should be free if you are a guest. Wasn't aware of fee when booking.

Review 134:Staff was very friendly. Room rate was great.

Review 135:They didn't have utenils in the kitchen

Review 136:I didn't realize it wasn't a King sized bed

Review 137:Comfortable bed nice room
