Review 1:A non smoking room with an strong smoke scent. When we asked for a different room we were offered a lower quality room, which I think is not fair since we are paying for the higher quality
Review 2:Price of $375 for one night ridiculous..rooms aren't bad but expected more of an update for that amount. Lines were to long for promotions to receive a first time players card considering i was only there one Day.

Review 9:I was extremely UNDERwhelmed with my experience. I found the room to be musty, was woken up by housekeeping WELL before checkout time, and through the vent of the bathroom I could smell smoke (on a non-smoking floor). I will most likely not be returning, very disappointed.
Review 10:They got our reservation wrong it the beginning of our trip. They gave us a smoking room. We wanted a non-smoking room. Also they had us leaving a day early.

Review 15:The staff at check in placed us in the old section of the hotel after over half an hour where Linda the receptionist was unable to comprehend that we booked the two rooms under two different names and that some of us arrived earlier and needed to check in. The rooms were falling apart and the ventilation system was not working properly so it's either turning it off and living with the smell of smoke or switching it on and being cold.
Review 16:Nothing. It was an overall disastrous waste of money. The only highlight was the burger bar at the hotel.
Review 17:Great stay for the colder months. Didn't have to leave the Troppicana- so much to do right in the building. That being said, rooms were still quiet and relaxing.
Review 18:The Hotel is conveniently located on the AC Boardwalk , has great staff that are always asking if you need anything or can help. With the variety of shops and restaurants you never need to leave the hotel. We will be making this stop a favorite from now on.

I didn't know we were not aware and that they were extremely rude was a turn off.

Review 38:They don't tell you that every person needs a key to get into the elevators to get to their room and each key is $30. The rooms are SO small and so ugly. Stuff is broken and looks awful. The rooms are sooo hot and even if you turn the AC on it stays so hot.

Review 40:Upon check in the employee was unfriendly and chewed as he ate his lunch during the entire process. He offered no information on the hotel even though it was our first time to ever visit there. Our two rooms were outdated, furniture was old and chipped. There was dust all over the lamps and table tops. There were coffee stains on the floor in one bathroom upon arrival. The toilet did not flush properly in one of the rooms and backed up twice in the middle of the night. There was construction noise on the floor above us starting at 8 am with continuous hammering for hours until we just got up and checked out on our last day there.

Review 44:Hallways and building were super hot, could tell the heat was blasting. Took atleast 15 minutes to be able to get on an elevator all of them were constantly packed with people. Elevators were so hot you felt like you couldn't breathe.
Review 45:I loved the accommodations, they were much more than we expected. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the ocean and the city lights. Definitely recommend the Havanna Tower, very nice rooms and close to all the stores and restaurants. Also easy access to the boardwalk. My wife and I really enjoyed our 10th year anniversary celebration here at the Tropicana and the price is incomparable. This trip will be one to remember for years to come. Review 46:The wifi in the room wouldn't work and they said it's just an amenitie so they don't guarantee it will work even though the website says wifi in all the rooms. Lights were burned out in the bathroom and there were no shower hooks to hang the towels. There was no thermostat in the room and it was a little cold. We were given the wrong room and they couldn't switch us to the correct one. As a hotel guest you also had to pay $10 every time you left the garage.

Review 60:The room was in disparate need of an upgrade, wood around bed was chipped, furniture was also chipped, coffee maker dusty, carpets were very old and spotted. The valet damaged our vehicle and the Risk Management staff (Gary and Tammy) both supervisors, were unprofessional. The front desk supervisor needed a class in customer service. No one apologized for damaging our vehicle. Very poor customer service.

Review 74:I had a room with double beds. The carpet in the room was filthy and dirty. The room smelled like dirty carpet. The lamps cover that were on top of the night table next to the bed were very dusty and dirty. The only thing that was actually really clean was the bathroom. The lobby to the hotel is nice but the rooms need an upgrade.

On top of that the staff is super nice, the hotel is pretty big, so there a huge help as far as getting you to wherever you need to go. Not to mention the variety of the places to eat & party. Review 90:Too much inspection when going back to room. My friends were staying in their boyfriends room but the boyfriends hadn't gotten there yet and we were going to wait for them in my room and we recieved a problem because there were too many people and not enough room keys

Review 109:Upon check-in the staff said I had two reservations. The only explanation I can have for this is that when I call the Tropicana directly to simply check the price and told them no thank you they took it upon himself to put it in as a reservation without a credit card. I had to provide my name when checking the price since I am part of their players club. This may check in a little confusing but I told him I booked it through booking.com and wanted to ensure I would not be billed twice. They quickly figured it out. But beware.

Review 111:Upon arrival though early the systems were down and wasn't given an option for a manual check in even though there wasn't a line. We told to check back in an hour when the systems were up and upon arriving back to the front desk the systems still weren't up, but now there are 25 people a head of us doing manual check in. Called room service for a cork screw and was told that I couldn't get one because my name isn't showing up in the system (mind you; the systems were down) even though they could see what room I was calling from. I was then told it was going to be $1.61 for a cork screw and it will an hour wait. Called front desk to complain and got it in 10 mins. One hour for a cork screw is ridiculous!!!! And then to charge for it!!!!! The gym charges $10 for guest to use it!!! I started feeling like this was Spirit airlines that charges really cheap for the rooms, but hit you in the head for every single thing. I'm surprised they didn't want to charge me extra for additional towels. I will not be staying here ever again.

Review 123:My key card got deactivated. It took security almost 2 hours to allow me into the room.. After such an ordeal I went to lay down there was a ROACH in the bed.. I called the front desk Ceaser told me to file a complaint.. He never suggested for housekeeping to cold or to switch my room.. I asked for housekeeping to come change the linen.. I couldn't even sleep there.. The manger Karen acted all Non chalant about them having reaches in their beds.. Terrible stay .. Terrible service!
Review 124:The staff treated us very very poorly. I got there late because I had totake care of things at home before I left my trip. I booked a doubleroom and when I got there they didn't have one available. I was nottold it was first come first survive when it came to the rooms and whenI got there that is what I was told and when I was unhappy about thatrespond, by a manager named mary. Mary also told me and my sister at 2am that we should contact the 3rd party booking company we booked theroom thru (Booking.com) and find another place to stay since wedon't like her option. The only reason I stayed was because it was2am, I was tired and it was my birthday trip. I will never stay thereagain and they can thank mary for that.

Review 130:Tropicana is usually a wonderful time for me and my significant other but this time we had a bunch of wild party goers constantly banging on our room door and we couldnt get any sleep they trashed the rooms and at around 9 am we were woken up by maid who politely let herself in with no regards what so ever the purpose of our trip was soley for relaxation especially because our schedules are so busy and we never have time for just leisure or sleep for that matter we love tropicana but this trip was so disappointing and we didnt get to relax the way we had desired. Im unsure if i will return.
