Review 5：We booked one of the simpler rooms as there was no availability on villas or superior rooms. The pictures looked nice enough and we were only staying there for three nights. Room was decorated with furniture that looked like it was going to fall apart, noisy and dark. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived and dirtier when we left. It had not been cleaned once. Room keeping had to be called in for, otherwise they'd forget. Staff was nice and professional, breakfast had lots to choose from and it was fresh. Location was good once you ignored the coming and going of several airplanes throughout the day. The resort is very close to the airport and you could hear and see everything. You'd be laying at the beach and an airplane would fly over you. Not the most relaxing experience. Overall I think they do a better job keeping the garden nice and green than they do maintaining the rooms. This is an average resort for me at best, personally I would not return to this resort at least in a simple room. Who knows? maybe the villas and superior rooms are nice and clean after all...

Review 6：They had a thief working in the laundry service. Luckily we've made a list of all clothes we sent for washing. Which we could refer to. As many times berore in Thailand branded clothes are missing. This time we lost one item of Calvin Klein. We approached the woman which stole our cloth. Plus the staff in the reception. But nothing happened. We assume stealing is ok in Thailand and in Chaweng Garden Beach Resort. We will never return!!

Review 8：You will not get a good nights sleep here, you hear the music from the local clubs. It is a very chav like resort with patrons not being respectful of others at 3 in the morning. You will have a constant sewage smell from the local drains. If you are looking for peace and quiet do not stay here.

Review 21：Resort paths are covered with sand to allow a feeling of a village, which is very special. However, it is almost impossible to enter the room without having sand all over the floor until next morning room maintenance. Other than that - very good hotel!

The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive. We had a walk along the beach and I noticed that all the other hotels were fairly empty. Definately the place to stay, would stay here again.

Review 78：Only downside which wasn't really an issue was the planes flying over low of the resort, I would say on average there was 4-5 a day which can be very noisy if you are at the pool but they do not start until 10am and there are no planes after dark so it wasn't really an issue for us.

Review 79：I stayed here for a week with my partner and family as we were visiting my brother who is travelling Asia. He recommend we stay at Chaweng Beach as it is the 'lively' side of the island. The resort was fine, clean, big rooms, nice pool, breakfast choice is fantastic they have a bit everything and the beach is also gorgeous with lots of activities if you wanted to do water sports. Food and BBQ on site was great, wine was very pricey but we found that with most places in Thailand, we generally spent the same (if not more) on alcohol as we did with our food. Just note this is great location if you want to be close to bars and restaurants but if you are looking for a relaxing haven in Thailand this is not the place, however the resort is very calm compared to the street / nightlife just outside. We couldn't hear any of the party bars music down the street so if you wanted a quiet night you could stay in the resort. If you are looking to stay at Chaweng I would recommend this resort and I believe it is one of the biggest in this area. We no complaints about our rooms or staff but note, the hotel (and many of the local bars / restaurants) speak very limited English so you will need to do a lot of pointing at menus, and if you order steak anywhere, generally expect it to be very well done even if you ask for it pink :)

Review 83：A couple of us friends stayed here and the room was nice. Although we thought we had paid for a villa, this was definitely more a room than a suite or a villa. Pretty basic but the shower was good and the proximity to the beach is great. It's right on a really lovely beach. It can get really noisy at night because it's right of chaweng road. Good place to stay.
