Review 1：Dismal room with old and broken fixtures and furniture. No closet, just a rail on the wall with two coathangers. Low wattage light in bathroom was useless. Parking on dirt road behind the "Inn" was deep mud with no marked spaces. The charge of $140 for the night was outrageous!

Review 3：Poor locks on doors. Suggest proper hotel room locks. Room shabby. Needed a nice coat of paint. A strip of wood across the base of the tub would cover the gap in the linoleum. Oh and there was no light bulb in the beside lamp.

Review 5：The friendliness of greeting, the ease of getting to and from the location, the comfort and cleanliness of the room and the pleasant surprise of 2 very comfortable chairs with a table to sit at and enjoy our coffee and snack.

Bathroom just a whitewash of paint, mising tiles, rusty rad. Backlot parking not paved and muddy. Run down and needs repairs.

Review 9：The hospitality of the owners & their willingness to go beyond meeting your expectations was excellent. The room was tasteful, clean & quiet. The perfect lake view & balcony is such a treat & added to the relaxing atmosphere. Sure beats looking out at a parking lot like most accommodation does.

Review 10：This is not a big hotel with all the amenities. It is a lovely, quaint, extremely comfortable inn, with a spectacular view of Lake Simcoe. It is minutes away from local attractions. From the friendliness of the greeting upon arrival, to advice on where to find things in Orillia, to a most wonderful sleep in a spacious and comfortable room, my stay was fantastic. I can't wait to go back!

Review 12：I had a very nice stay (5 days), it was quiet and clean with a lovely view of the lake. The staff I did meet seemed very pleasant. The WiFi worked very well. Will definitely be booking again in the near future.

Review 15：Outdated room, electrical system using extension cords. Rooms really need to be upgraded. The bed was very well used and needs to be replaced. We found two spiders in the stand up shower when we arrived and we had to deal with them. This was the only available place we could find on short notice and we got the last room. The price we paid does not reflect the quality of the room we received. This motel needs upgrading and repairs to reflect the needs of the modern travelers.

Review 25：This motel was in a rural, residential area with a lake right across the street. Very quiet at night. Not far from Orillia and affordable. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good value for the money.

Wifi worked great. They even have a boat rental! It isn't a holiday in but it is a nice place to stay overall.

Review 40：the place is old and broken down IT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN the bathtub is very dangerous to get in and out there are covers closing off holes in the wall the air conditioning is in the window and you can't close the curtains without blocking it off no Kleenex boxes ,no microwave , no ice machines , everything is unplugged in the room even the fringe , bathroom fan don't work, a whole mess of wires hanging from the TV , a lot of stains on the cloth chairs . i would rather pay more for a better motel IT IS NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISE . its not a good place

Review 42：Very run down: Although bed sheets were clean and it appears they triedto up date some things at some point ,the rest of the room was so oldand run down it was dirty. Cabinets were dirty and broken, paint in thebathroom was primer only, coffee maker dirty, dead bugs on the dirtywindows. The pictures on Booking .com made it look much better then itwas. I couldn't wait to get out of there. As well my Visa wascharged before our arrival and I wanted to pay cash, I didn't findthis out until i'd reached the room and read the out line providedon the table. They prefer you not come into the Office to drop off yourkey, simply leave it in the mailbox on your way out, I imaginethat's so they don't need to hear how the stay really was.Won't be staying again.

Review 44：The only thing I can say is that the actual room was in a strange location. Beside the office. So you had to go thru office to get to our room. Its a little outdated but that is not important to me. Would be nice if they had an outside entrance to room(didn't really like the fact we were right next to office) or took room out and made office bigger, would be more inviting.

Review 45：The location was good, the price for room was very awesome. Since we just needed a place to sleep and weren't in the room long, all I really cared about was cleanliness and comfort which was both great. Staff is friendly and family owned. I would stay there again.

Review 48：We loved the location of the Lakeside Inn as we enjoyed sitting out on the lawn having a drink and watching the boats go bye. The staff was excellent and cleaned our room early in the morning as we stayed 3 nights. The other guests were friendly as well as the storm roared through they were BBQing in the rain and offered us steak and chicken!!!We look forward to staying with them again in the future.

Review 49：The Inn itself is very simple....the owners should clean or 'groom' the yard, front and back....little messy around the Inn. The office is not renovated and one light lamp. Needs to be attracted for guests and needs to be clean surroundings.

Review 101：I liked the location near the lake since my grandson was able to swim in Lake Simcoe.The Wi-Fi service was good,the king sized bed was comfortable.The TV was good for programs.The air conditioner worked good.The view of the lake was good.

It was close to Casino Rama...the room was comfortable and clean...and I found it relaxing out front looking at the lake...even though there was a road separating the Inn from the lake.

Review 109：We booked the 'smoking suite' which was a little room in a little complex in the back of the motel. The king bed was comfy, but we slept on top of the covers just in case. It's right by the lakeside, quiet, ten minute drive to the casino, five minute drive to the waterfront and shops. It was a good stay.

There was an extension cord to plug in tv, lights, computer router, etc. No electrical plug in bathroom to dry or curl hair. Stains over carpet and a musty smell. The next room had been renovated and was almost complete, but still had plaster on walls and a half painted ceiling. Why not close one room at a time and complete it before trying to rent it out. Then go on to renovating the next room?

We were given a substitute room, however it was under construction, and not customer ready as far as I'm concerned, but was glad to have a room, but don't feel it was valued at what it was while under renovations

Review 130：Not enough outlets in the room, if you wanted to re-charge something you had to unplug something else. Water pressure was terrible, both my husband & I almost fell in the tub even though we used the suction mat in the tub. There was not any space in the bathroom to put any travel or shaving bags, although there was lots of room to put a few shelves. Air conditioner froze up over night & made a terrible racket. The woman that showed us the room was not very friendly & I asked on the internet to have a room on the upper level & she wanted to put us right next to the front desk.
