Review 4：The staff were very helpful. The location was fantastic! The breakfast was great. Matthew at the front desk was very good and helpful.

Review 5：Nothing. The shower over the bath will never be as good as a walk in shower, but it's part of the style. I just had a bath and imagined Tito doing the same. Dinner was moderately pricey (although not by UK standards) but worth every penny.

Review 9：This was a beautiful villa that was formerly the summer home of President Tito. We had a suite that was huge and had all the comforts of home. The staff were incredibly helpful and personable.

Review 16：The room was very beautiful and the view was perfect. We could see the church on the island directly from our balcony. The staffs were all friendly. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent. I highly recommend this vila to everybody.

Review 17：fabulous building ,a delightful suite,but standard and presentation of breakfast and service very poor for a hotel that has such potential .There appears to be no manager in the dining room .For example I ordered a boiled egg ten minutes later no sign of it a waitress eventually brings a cold poached egg.That is just one of many examples.

They should also tell you about cafe belvedere which is just up the path from the hotel and looks straight across to the church. It was empty everything we went there

Review 30：The staff is trained very badly. They have no understanding of customer service. It is hard to even put in words the level of rudeness presented by the staff at the front desk. But it doesn't stop there, even the cleaning personnel are rude and have no boundaries. When we asked for the manager after an incident with the front desk we were told that the manager is not in the hotel and does not have a telephone, therefore cannot be contacted. Instead of tying to the resolve the issue we had we were told to leave. Never in all our travels have we come across such rude and obnoxious staff.

Review 32：The setting/location is marvellous and the property is peaceful and agreeable with the right number of rooms/suites. The staff we meet were all first class, helpful, polite, and interesting. The restaurant service and cuisine were excellent, as was the bar, breakfast, spa and massage.

The young gentleman on the front desk who checked us in was fantastic and shared interesting aspects of the hotel with us and even provided some very useful suggestions for our drive from Slovenia into Italy the next day. Review 39：Great location in a peaceful part of town with amazing views over the lake. The staff (especially Matjaž) was very helpful and attentive. The building itself has a piece of history and makes the stay even more interesting. The rooms are spacious and provide with great comfort which in other accommodation you would have to pay massive extra fees. Even though Bled is apparently a summer spot, we enjoyed the beautiful snowy ambiance of Vila Bled. Vila Bled is run by a Slovenian government agency and we were pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism in the hospitality business of the staff working there. Definitely would like to visit again.

This is worth the trip alone. Itis beautifully located by the lake in Bled directly opposite thelittle island with the church. The hotel has a number of boats youcan borrow and row at the lake. This is an experience. We onlystayed for one night, which for us was perfect. I can recommend tohave a look at the huge room on 1st floor with the enormouspaintings that cover 20-30 meter of the wall. A typical scenery fromcommunist art. Really spectacular. Tito and his crew did not save ona thing. A true experience. I must mention the few staff we met werevery nice and helpful.

Review 63：It was Tito's villa which located in the best location of bled lake. It is an old-fashioned hotel, but you will feel the atmosphere of history, and what's more, good facilities. The view is just wonderful. I love bled lake!

Review 64：The staff must have a smoking area that was located below one of our windows, so we couldn't open it without the smell coming in. We had to keep it closed most of the time. The free bikes that you can borrow are a little clunky and lacking maintenance, but they were free to use.

Review 65：We had a park view room, which also had a great view of the island on Lake Bled from our suite. We were really surprised by how large it was. The bathroom was amazing, with a large tub for relaxing. This was our splurge while we were in Slovenia and it was definitely worth it. There is a nice terrace for meals. The breakfast provided is excellent, with many different kinds of juices and options. We also had dinner one night at their restaurant, which was delicious. Their cream cake is amazing. We went in the summer. They have mountain bikes and row boats, which you're able to use for free. The front desk, which has really helpful staff, will give you a helmet and lock to use. They also have a dock for sunbathing and swimming where they provide towels, lounge chairs, and a lifeguard. You can walk down the long staircase and enjoy the 3.5 mile path around Lake Bled. Staying here is a really nice way to treat yourself.
