Review 1：The room smelled not so good, but we covered the smell with incense stick. You can buy these at the Island, so all was good again.
Review 2：The lady of the hotel was really really nice.
Review 3：The pousada lost power connection many times during our stay, which made our nights rather hot without air conditioning, without lights in the evening and no power to cool the refrigerator.
Review 4：The pousada is a nice little place right on the beach in a good distance to the town centre. The staff was very pleasant, but not speaking or understanding English.

Review 6：The location was perfect, right on the beach with lovely views. Away from noisier part but very easy walk. Its a very pretty pousada. Pool was great and all kept really clean. Staff were really nice and helpful even though their English wasn't that good... We managed to understand each other!! Good WiFi which only lost signal for one day.
Review 7：Located at the far end of Abraao beach, it was only a few minutes walk away from the main dock, near to the nicer beach front restaurants and bars, but far enough away to feel we weren't in the town. Beautiful pousada with a pool, which was wonderful after a days hiking and touring the island. Rooms were clean, with good showers, and breakfast is included. Staff were incredibly helpful and we were able to fill up camelbaks each day with drinking water (essential for the hikes to remote beaches). The location is the main draw here, we didn't spend much time in the rooms as most time was spent on beaches, boats, hiking or at the restaurants 3 mins walk up the beach. Pousada do Canto has some taxi boats right outside and is next to the start of the hiking trail to Lopes Mendes. You can pay on card, worth noting there are NO cash points or cash back facilities on the island, even with brazilian cards. Would definitely go back as a couple, solo or with friends.
Review 8：The location was totally great for us, it's about 200m away from the main pier - a very short distance and a lovely walk. However, if you've got large suitcases that need to be dragged/rolled then this is a no-no as it's sand the whole way.
Review 9：Nice breakfast, room was very good - better than we'd expected. Beds were nice and comfy and bathroom was good also. We stayed 3 nights and it was really wonderful! Good option. There was also a lovely pool which is a bonus.

Review 20：Fairly long walk to the jetty. Staff spoke only portuguese with no smiles. Strange urine like "odour" in room but one got used to it. Mainly OK considering the environment and price paid.

Review 24：Wifi didn't work and looked like never does! If you don't speakportugese staff can come across as quite dis-interested, not un-friendlyjust a bit cold. We were on ground floor and no safe which made me a bitnervous for our belongings but island seems very safe so no problems.
Review 25：Very clean, great breakfast, efficient staff and excellent location - onthe beach but far enough from town to be peaceful and avoid all thetourists but close enough to be able to walk. Perfect for what we wanted- great value for money and perfect location but we wanted somewhere tojust crash and were out most of the day.
