Review 1：Never had a bad experience. The place could use a major makeover as it now looks a bit tired.

Review 2：As I have mentioned before the place has a sort of quirky elegance to it. The staff are all friendly and make me feel at home, I have been staying at the Excelsior on and off for the past 25 years. The rooms are spacious even though the pillows are not the best

Review 4：I stayed at the Excelsior for the first time back in 1990 just a year after Stroessner was deposed so it's partly a nostalgic thing. The staff are always very friendly and the place is inexpensive.

Review 5：The pool was way to far from the rooms and the furniture at the lobby is too old. The restaurant for dinner which also offer live music , the music was good but the food was not so good the service was excellent specially mr. Ariel .

Review 6：The cleaning ladies specially mrs. Miguela and the front desk ladies were also very nice specially Noella she was very attentive to our needs.the waiters at the breakfast were also nice. The room was very big , the bathroom needs everything new , and the colors should be white and not dark brown as they have now

Review 13：By paying with credit card they charge the amount in paraguayan guaraniand they use a much higher exchange rate. The hotel is old and needs arenovation. The Windows were terrible. You feel as if there are nowindows. This was also the reason why I couldnt warm up the room eventhough there was a heating in the room. It was cold cold cold. There arebetter choices in the city for similar rates.
