Review 1：Parking was below the villas which are built on a hill, with car access only to a few. We had to climb 63 steps to reach our villa. The villa was very clean but on arrival there was a smell possibly coming from drains as it possibly was not used for some time.,

Review 2：the villa was finished to a high standard with high quality equipment. There was a very good view over the beach below, even though the buildings are very close together. The resort was almost deserted at the end of October.

Review 3：We didn't like the beds . They were pretty uncomfortable . I accept that's a personal thing . Also , I didn't like having to pay to use the outdoor pool at PDF

Review 7：second visit here and was given a villa at the end/ corner of the complex which didn't have much of a "view" at all. Very overlooked by other accommodation and view of a road. I did mention my disappointment to reception and we were moved three days later when a villa with a view and a garden became available. They were also good at letting us stay for late check out which was helpful and welcomed. Wish they would leave beach supplies in the apartment - we always leave our parasols etc that we buy there but I see in reviews that nothing like this is left in the apartment. Also lack of cleaning supplies - again left loads behind. No pool/beach towels provided this year.

Review 8：Salema lovely location - pretty clean beach - good places to eat/coffee Quiet away from it all feel.Complex quiet, clean we didn't stay around during the day as sterile feel but we stayed here as good base for lovely Salema just a short 5 mins fall down the hill. Pool nice size for doing lengths and water lovely and warm. Accommodation basic IKEA kind of feel so not luxury but good and beds were really comfortable. Nice to have tumble dryer.

Review 9：There is a serious problem with the internet. Jacuzzi on our roof did not work

Review 10：The first thing that strikes is silence. The place is in the middle of the resort but is so quiet, that it is almost unreal. Swimming pool is great, location is nice - close to a lot of restaurants and nice beach. The View will no longer have perfect view from every house, it is however great place to rest few days.

Review 11：The wifi did not connect in the villa and we felt the kitchen utensils were limited, nothing provided to clean a pot.

Review 13：We didn't realise at first that we had to check-in up at the golf club resort. Took ages driving around and figuring this out. Perhaps we hadn't read the booking details adequately. It wasn't easy at first to find the apartment either, despite being given a map. Best thing to do is park on the road and then walk around and find it. The car parks are along the road, so be prepared to carry your bags up the plentiful stairs up the terraces.

Review 14：The apartment was excellent and the views fantastic. It is a short walk down the hill, or drive, to great restaurants in the town near the beach. Apartment was excellent and the pool facilities really good.

Review 15：Our unit was wonderful. Excellent view, very clean and one of the best equipped rentals we have ever stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in lovely Salema.

Review 16：Other than Vitor, everyone we came in contact with was rude. We were unable to use the facilities we were told we'd be able to use (I.e. Spa and pool areas). I would not recommend this place because it was in an abandoned townhome area, meaning they built a few homes and then went bankrupt so most were unfinished. I felt uncomfortable the whole time we were there

Review 25：Check in was at a separate location, a few miles away. That is alsowhere all the amenities are, except for a local pool. We had troublewith the tv, ( usually this is of no consequence to us, but the factthat it rained every day we were there, it was a problem. The tv wasalso hooked up to the phone system, so we could not call and report theproblem. Had to drive again to the check in reception. Area off site.Everything was handled immediately and efficiently, but it was aninconvience. My only other complaint is that these apts are set up fortourists who come to the beach. For us, who traveled from the us, we didnot want to pack beach towels that took up valuable luggage space. Therewas nothing in the apt nor anywhere nearby where we could purchase theseitems. The apt was not even furnished with dish towels, or pot holdersor anything like that if you wanted to cook a meal.This surprised me.

Review 26：Gorgeous sea view. Comfortable, modern accomodations. Just what we werelooking for as part of our two week vacation to Portugal, an apt thathas laundry, kitchen etc so that we could truly relax and enjoy theSalema area. Convenient location to beach, relatively easy walk.

Review 27：To book into the resort you have to go to another premises 5 kilometersaway. The resort also insists that you book out from this location. Thisis a hassle if you do not have a car as we did not. You are onlyinformed of this after you make the booking. The reason given for thisis "renovations". This clearly not the case and appears to bea cost cutting measure.At the apartments the phone system does not work and we were unable to contact reception 5kms away to inform them of this and other faults. We were only able to get hold of someone by hassling a cleaner the next day. When a maintenance man did come he informed us that the phone system had not been working for some time. Some faults such as the television not working he fixed but others such a the BBQ not working he did not. This was the only accom we have stayed at in the past six weeks where there was no wi-fi. Given we are travelling with laptops and not mobiles, this inability to speak to staff was a significant flaw and unaccceptable. This whole operation appears to be geared towards time-share management and not travellers such as ourselves. Given the price point which this facility occupies it is definitely not recommended.

Review 28：The basic apartments are good but there are significant support issues.

Review 29：We only stayed one night. The apartment was amazing and we had all weneeded up to the last little detail. There's a big community swimmingpool and we had our own private hot tub on the roof. Guests can even goto the resort area and use the indoor swimming pool and otherfacilities. Check in is at the entrance of Salema and not at the actualapartment complex. Salema beach is small and there are severalrestaurants. There's a big supermarket in Sagres to stock up the fridgeand that's 20 min away. You will need a car for this area of Portugal.

Review 30：The staff was very attentive, friendly and understanding since I could not find the lodging. The facilities were excellent with a water view. Also, the kitchen was very well equiped and the washing machine included a drying option which was great. I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends.

Review 31：We would have appreciated receiving an email telling where we should check in. We went right to The View and found out that we had to drive back out of town to a golf resort to check in. It's not far, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Review 32：We had a 3 bedroom villa with a wonderful view of the ocean. The man where we checked in was friendly and very helpful. There were amenities offered that we did not use--golf, spa, etc. We thought the villa was a real value.

Review 33：We were there offseason so there was no staff onsite. The check in deskat another resort did not give the best directions as it took a coupleof tries to find the place.

Review 34：The Vew was very nice(both the place and the actual view(no pun)). Thequality of the construction and amount of space was better than what wasin the pictures. Very quite and could not hear the other bedroom. Allnecessary appliances and utensils including gas grill on the deck wereprovided. Excellent choice to stay there.
