Reviews for Hotel Pakaritampu

Review 1:I had an unpleasant encounter with one male staff member, but everyone else was very nice. The resturant leaves a great deal to be desired--except for breakfast, which is excellent.

Review 2:It is a beautifully designed and thought-out facility.

Review 3:Very nice grounds. Not much bad to say, overall I think the biggest issue if we were to stay longer would be cleanliness. Overall clean but kinda dated and not that clean , but for 1-2 days the awesome grounds and views are far better.

Review 4:Wi-Fi signal is strong but throughput is not acceptable. Either they are throttling the bandwidth or they do not paying for enough bandwidth. So do not expect any Wi-Fi even close to the source.

Review 5:Quiet place. Great place to rest. Unpolluted air.

Review 6:Wi-Fi was horrible throughout hotel including reception and lobby. This must be fixed for the travelers of today.

Review 7:Hotel grounds, lobby with fireplace, location

Review 8:The Wi-Fi was poor.

Review 9:The hotel and grounds were beautiful and reminded me of a small oasis. Seeing the women in their native costumes on the lawn really topped off the experience. The restaurant's food was also excellent and convenient.

Review 10:The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The place is quaint, but in a good way. The food was very Peruvian, and very delicious. The staff did everything to make us feel welcome. Lovely place, and we loved the llamas, garden tiers, flowers, and birds.

Review 11:There is a restaurant/club nearby that played loud music for the entire evening so it took away from the serene setting. Couldn't hear it much through the good windows though, just when sitting outside.

Review 12:Beautiful setting and only a 3 minute walk to the train station and an 8 minute walk to the ruins. Breakfast had a great variety. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Nice big blankets to keep you warm in the winter. Sat outside on the terrace with the resident llama to watch the stars at night.

Review 13:For the location (remote), this hotel is amazing!!! Great service with Amazing view from our room (backyard)...Walking distance to the train station (we took the train to Machupicchu) I will most def recommend this hotel to everyone!

Review 14:Nice, comfortable, good wifi.

Review 15:The surroundings mountains were beautiful. The hotel was outstanding. The flowers were spectacular.

Review 16:Wi-Fi - overloaded and frustrating

Review 17:Beautiful property with open spaces. Convenient to train station, restaurants, etc.

Review 18:Inconvenient access to boiled water. Not in room.

Review 19:Convenient, good rooms, peaceful

Review 20:Very convenient location, helpful and knowledgeable staff, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, nice mountain views, great breakfast.

Review 21:The bathroom had poor lighting, not enough hot water, dark colored decoration, dirty ceiling, tiny soap bars and no tissue paper.

Review 22:The garden was very pretty.

Review 23:Very very poor internet; did not work 95% of the times I tried. Staff not very helpful with respect to Internet, blame problems implausibly on local regulations preventing antennas. Although grounds and buildings are pleasant and clean, and shower works well, the price seems very high.

Review 24:Beautiful garden with views on mountains and Inka ruins; good breakfast. Staff helpful with storage of luggage during trip to Machu Picchu.

Review 25:The grounds are beautiful with flowers everywhere. The breakfast buffet was very good and diverse. The staff were outstanding!! My husband got sick and they took homemade chicken soup to the room for him (at no charge). They were also very helpful in booking transportation to Cusco airport and other private tours. Would absolutely recommend this place!! Lori from Pennsylvania, USA

Review 26:Hotel restaurant not quite up to the rest.

Review 27:Hard to believe a hotel of this level is in Ollaytantambo. It is right near the train to Machipichu, but you would never know it. Room ambiance delightful. Grounds well kept. Service impeccable.

Review 28:Food at the hotel restaurant wasn't that great. This was really the only negative. But as there are tons of places to eat nearby wasn't that big of a deal.

Review 29:The hotel grounds and location was incredible. Beautiful views from our room windows. I would recommend it for couples or anyone who wants to enjoy nature and gorgeous views. Try and get a second floor room so you can see things.

Review 30:The Garden, the proximity to the town and train station. Very good location.
