Review 1：Restaurant doesn't have great ambience. Coffee bad at breakfast and hot water for tea not hot.

Review 20：We found the hotel off a road, which led towards the coast. You can't miss the yellow walls and the fact it stands alone outside Peniche. Parking was not a problem as there is plenty of parking space, albeit we were there in October amongst very few guests. The receptionist was quick and efficient and we were soon up in our complete with bed, large WC adapted for disable guests and a balcony. There is a mini bar for those who want a late night snack of drink. About 100 metres away to our right is a swimming pool, which guests will surround no doubt during the height of the summer. I will comment that it is not that big so perhaps during the summer if you are keen for a dip you might need to be an early bird. Breakfast is on the lower floor and there is - as always plenty to select from bread, cheeses, hams, fruit, juices, cereals and you can select either tea or coffee. While continental breakfast are too carb heavy for my breakfast I can say I did not leave the hotel hungry. Overall this is a pleasant hotel with good facilities and, which I recommend.

Review 21：Hotel staff were absolutely helpful and attentive to our needs. The location is literally at the edge of the Island which creates expansiveness and incredible view from the balcony, we could not get enough! Beach is close by, lovely 30 min walk along the coast or 5 min by transfer from hotel (very cheap). There is also lighthouse, great and posh restaurant inside to have delicious lunch or dinner. If you want surfing experience just ask at the reception and they call and arrange it for you. I would TOTALLY recommend this place to stay while in Peniche, Portugal. Thank you!!! Review 22：This hotel is in a wonderful location with views over the lighthouse and out to sea. Nice, clean pool area, although could be a little small in the height of summer. Our room was at the front, with a little balcony, so lovely to sit and watch the sun go down. Breakfast was reasonable, and dinner was very good. All in all, good value for money.

Review 74：We booked a 'sea view' room thinking that the location would be ideal for a view to the ocean. A couple of things. Firstly the sea is quite far away, so the sea view doesn't make sense. Having read previous reviews about smelly rooms I thought they would be exaggerated.. The place does smell. There are plenty of cheaper properties around, that are certainly worth more.

Review 78：It could be really nice but the rooms are cold and sterile, the flooring is lino which is absolutely horrible for a hotel, it ruined the look of the room totally. Nothing was thought through properly, to turn off the bedside light you had to get out of bed to reach the night switch? You could not use the electric adadptor in the bathroom for hairdyer as the switch was too close to the vanity cupboard that you could not fit the hairdryer plug in. We were disappointed in the room

Review 84：We were a little bit surprised about the position of the hotel. Because we arrived late in the evening, it was not so easy to find it. Hotel has a very nice big terrace with fantastic view to the ocean, but what we didn´t understand was, why breakfast is served in the basement and not on this terrace. Restaurant was also on the ground floor - such a shame ! It can be realy fantastic to get breakfast on this terrace ! It will give also to this hotel better chance to have more guests and also to put the prices more up, because, finaly, position is very good and this place is very quiet.

Theview from the seeside is indeed great, ocean is direct in front of you.We had smell problems, a water cleaning factory is in front of the hotel, and the wind directions was sometimes bad said the man at the desk. We had just bad luck.

Review 96：the hotel was a very new building, was very clean and the room was very spacious. i also liked the huge bed, and the breakfast was really nice. its a great place to stay if your looking for something away from all the noise and congestion of a town and be near the cliffs and the ocean and watch the sun sets.. If your comming to peniche to go surfing or shopping its probably a bit out of the way. that said, you can walk to town in roughly 30 minutes, or a taxi is only about 7 euros...
