Review 3：The reception staff werent really welcoming. The enterance of the hotel was really bad and not clean. We were surprised that there were 2 buildings, one on the beach side and the other one is on the other side (we were on the other side). The lighting was bad in the room, no hot water to shower u have to wait 10 min under water or more to get hot water. No air condition in the lobby on ur way to ur room. The gym is not a gym.

Review 4：The food wasnt really good, there were insects over the food although the paltes were covered. The quality of breakfast wasnt good

Review 5：The first night we had a very good sleep. The second night the aircon started to be very noisy so we had to turn it off, then it got to hot in the room, so no sleep. We told the staff about the aircon and they didn't do a thing about it. Third night was terribly cuz of the aircon. We told the staff again and they "fixt" it. We had a good night sleep that night. But the night after that it started again etc etc. and in the second day one Off our four pillows was missing and we didn't get it back. And sometimes they just left one towel to the shower. The staff in the reception was never smiling and said never hello even if we did it, I think that's rude. Wifi was not good in our room, but worked by the pool/beach.

Review 9：Wifi does not work in the room, you have to go on to the landing. Only one router per floor, and if you are more than two rooms away from it then you can,t even see it let alone connect to it. And then when connected it's very very slow. Rooms very old a tired, whole place is desperate for lick of paint and referb. Bottle of water by the pool 50 bht, family mart 7..... Only bought the one ! Man on reception rude ( other lady very nice) seem to have a problem with mosquitos, hotel is surrounded by them, ( probably not helped by having fish ponds in the grounds) 3 weeks of traveling not had one bite got here, and was eaten alive. Part of the sprinkler system fell apart in the middle of the night. And if you have a room with a door to the next room it has no sound proofing whatsoever ever, and you can hear everything from the next room, it's if your in the same room. Even thought the hotel was only about half fall they had no rooms with double beds left which I thought was strange. Only half the power sockets work in my room.

Review 10：Good location but a bit of a walk to the main centre, where all the bars are which I did not mind, but may not suit everyone. Nice pool and right on the beach.

Review 11：Really old hotel swimming pool was dirty and old, playground dirty and old with a lot of mosquitoes,rooms on the ground floor smelt funky end where really awful, cleaning was badly and bedsheets where dirty and had big hols in it. After mentioned to the reception we got a room on the 4th floor which was a little better but I would not recommend this hotel in this condition. The where do doing a large renovation on the other Hill side (across the road).

Review 22：The rooms were dirty, I have seen some hairs in the linens so I think it was not was not changed before we come. Rooms windows and lobby were very dirty also. The staff was so rude. Wireless was hardly working in the rooms. I don't pay this much money to this hotel...

Review 23：1) They charged our Credit Card twice in error for the 4 nights. A week and a few emails later it was refunded. Currency fluctuations meant and extra cost to us of +€16 which is not that material. 2) The noise from Chaweng Town can be a bit annoying at night. 3) Wifi or the lack of it was problematic for us. 4) We also spent 4 nights in the Samui Palm Beach for roughly the same price, and had a more comfortable stay there.

Review 24：We spent 4 nights in the Ocean Wing and had a fairly pleasant stay. The Hotel is located in a central position in Chaweng. It has a good pool and provides Sun loungers (and towels) on the Beach which is very nice, but space can be limited. The There is a snack Bar and Massage Services near the pool.

Review 64：Internet speeds were extreamly slow / non-existen on the lake wing (apart from a sweet spot I found on the 3rd floor near the pool area). However it did seem to work very well in the pool / breakfast areas on the ocean wing. I would not stay here again because of this problem, but for a lot of travelers this might not be such an issue. The toilet was leaking, but I managed to fix it myself. Rooms are a bit dated and need a facelift, however they are clean and pleasant.

Review 65：Good location, most places you will want to go are with in walking distance. Pool area is nice. Bell boys were always very pleasant and attentive when I was leaving / entering. Airconditioning works very well, the room was icy cold.

Location is the best with beautiful beachfront. The staff were all friendly and helpful keeping in mind there is a language barrier. The shower pressure and temperature were great which can be a problem at some other hotels I have stayed in Thailand. I could not fault this hotel in any way.

Review 74：There is nothing positive to say about this hotel. Here is a list of reasons not to stay here: -staff. Never encountered such rudeness and lack of help from a hotel from start to finish. No proper welcome and when problems occurred with wifi, etc we were told it was our fault not the hotel. -wifi. Didn't work at first and when asked for help were dealt with rudely. Even after the problem was fixed it kept dropping out and remained unstable. Stink. The open air area next to the lobby stunk of sewage the whole time we were there. Disgusting! -dirty room. There was dust all over the furniture and mould on light switches and on the floor. Bathroom was filthy and towels smelt damp. Found spiders in the bed. -dated, old room, needs to be updated. -housekeeping. Had to ask for shower gel several times and were ignored the whole time. Only got some after bumping into a maid in the corridor! Poor service again! The worst thing about this place is the staff. We left after two nights and had booked three. Didn't get our money back as they refused. Will be happy to see all the staff sacked. Strongly advise not booking this hotel. You can find a much better one for the same price in chaweng! I've been travelling in south east Asia for four months and this is by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Review 75：The rock hard bed had BEDBUGS that gave me an allergic reaction. Lake wing building is not very pleasent, ocean wing is better. Staff at reception were not very helpful. Rude staff at pool bar.

Review 78：on arrival we realised we had booked the lake view room which had no view of the lake only a dirty back street. when asking the reception for an upgrade an would gladly pay the difference they tried over charging us for what was displayed on your website. when showing them the priced out layed they yelled at me, I asked for a manager an they did nothing. Again on arrival my boyfriend also said that payment was in order and they said it had been payed for when your website states that no money will be taken from our bank account, after coming back from dinner they came to our room for the payment, my boyfriend went down stairs to fix this situation and funny enough there was now a manager on duty, we explained the payment situation an the upgrade which we asked for, in his reply was "you have to pay" I tried to explain the room we had wasn't what we wanted and he didn't care at all just wanted our money. after 15 minutes I said to him we would pay for the first an only night we stay in the horrible resort. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone!!!!

I may as well not had wifi in my room as it worked for 5% of the time (ocean side, wifi was strong in reception area which was lake side so maybe those rooms got better signal).
