Review 1：My stay had a half-board package, which meant breakfast buffet + dinner buffet. Unfortunately neither was particularly appealing, felt a little on the cheap side ("let's fill the buffet with cheap dishes so it looks like a lot of options" and I wouldn't choose this again). The breakfast was OK I guess.

Review 2：Lake Bled is amazing, and the staff and hotel overall was good enough. The hotels and the touristy areas feels a little like touristy areas past their prime, but again: Lake Bled and the area is outstanding, that's what you should come here for.

Review 3：Certain food was not supplemented during the dinner so we were in a way pressed to have both dinners outside the hotel, despite we had dinner included in arangement. SPA zone is quite modest, with an ambient like in horror movies, requested for being with no clothes inside saunas, but nobody except us were doing so.. Room with poor and depressing view, 2 beds which were joined instead of twin bed, so they were tended to split during night so one could easily fall in between..

Review 20：Disappointed with the room, we upgraded to a Lake view room but we weren't told this also over looks the car park for the shopping centre with daily deliveries at 4am. After staying at the Best Western in the City this Best Western was very disappointing. Rooms were old fashioned, small and the air con was as noisey as the jacuzzi.

Review 25：Only 2 minutes from the Lake, large very comfy room solidly built with no noise disturbance. Air conditioning excellent (no limit on temperature), big choice of pillows!! Fluffy bathrobes and plentiful, good quality towels, changed daily. Cant't praise the breakfast enough - amazing spread of cooked items, homemade yoghurts and creams, homemade fruit jams, wide selection of delicious breads to suit every possible taste and always plentiful - early or late. Simply outstanding. Front desk staff very efficient and friendly - particularly Neza who gave us excellent advice for a rainy day trip to Trieste. Likewise the restaurant staff were charming. Restaurant is good but not exceptional. Wifi worked very well.

Review 28：Great location. We had a family suite and it was very roomy. Bedding and towels were great. Also, our son has a peanut allergy and it was so nice that all the food was peanut free. Great breakfast buffet!

Review 29：Our air conditioner did not work and we were told that all the rooms have poor air conditioners. The bath was dirty. The layout of the bathroom makes it impossible to exit the bath safely so I suspect that the maid does not clean the bath.

Review 32：The hotel Lovec is a really nice hotel in a central location. We paid extra to get a balcony and a view of the lake and I think that without the view, I wouldn’t have rated this hotel so highly. The room is a bit small but everything is up to standards (great beds/minibar/tea/coffee facilities/flat screen tv/ nice bathroom). Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi. We struggled a bit to get there (from the bus station) go around the station and take the road down until you get to the lake, keep walking until you see a plaza of restaurants and shops. you can then decide to cross the plaza and go up the stairs to you left, cross a car park and there you are. If you want to avoid the stairs, walk left on the pavement up the hill until you see a car park and the Lovec grill.

Review 65：The lake view is disturbed by an ugly parking lot + ugly building, but you do are able to see the lake and the island there, which is nice anyway, but the door to the balcony wasn't opening. Also, something we don't like about European hotels is that huge covered blanket, and no separate top sheet, so either you're too hot in it or too cold without it.

Review 66：The hotel is well located, near everything (not that things are too far away in Bled). The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished. We found the beds a bit too soft, but they were very comfy for one night. Breakfast is great, with lots of choices. There's also a restaurant within the hotel, that is handy for a lazy evening dinner.

It has all the right services...outdoor café, good restaurant, clean comfortable rooms with all the trimmings. The hotel is about 100 yards from the lakefront walkway. The breakfast was various and they had freshly squeezed orange juice, handmade cottage cheese and jam from farm as well. The dinner was really cool we eat once from menu and once in the restaurant a la carte but both dishes were great and the waiter was really helpful to us. We used the wellness every day it was really pleasure that it wasn’t crowded so we could relax. Altogether the Slovenian hospitality is exemplary. We will return! :)

Review 92：several dirty breakfast dishes, dirty balcony, staff was abrupt and acted inconvenienced to do their job the key remains in the wall for power so if you have a pet, you need a second keep to keep in the wall or your pet sits in the room with no lights or anything.

Review 94：Whilst we had a nice view of the lake from our room, there was an eyesore in between. Not a fault of the hotel. One member of staff in the restaurant/bar area was quite rude when we simply tried to get desserts after eating elsewhere. She didn't bother to listen to what we were asking. Just told us they were too busy and to try elsewhere. Another staff member accommodated us straight after. Like others mentioned, there were what sounded like bin lorries at the back of the hotel in the middle of the night which disturbed my sleep. Whilst the leisure facilities were relaxing, they could do with modernisation. Changing rooms were in slight disrepair, eg the cubicles wouldn't close properly. Housekeeping were a little stingy with the shower gels. Did not replace on second day when one was used up

Review 95：Great location about 1 minute walk from lake. Great choice for breakfast. Comfortable beds. Good jacuzzi. Helpful staff at reception. Very clean. Our baby's cot was very clean and comfortable and there was even a bath toy and baby wash left for him, as well as extra towels. We also appreciated the kettle in the room for making bottles.

Review 106：Our reservation was cofirmed, we arrived an hour before we could get into the room and were told to go for a walk. When we came back we were told we had been moved to Kompas Hotel. We did not understand the reason. The hotel should state in the confirmation: "Your romm will be either in Hotel Lovec or in Hotel Kompas." Then I could decide whether I accept it or not. Hotel Kompas is rather for families with small children who are violating the rules of using the pool. Children are not warned to behave by the staff.

I would have thought she could have at least taking photocopies of our passports and had them ready for 2pm. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the small indoor pool - a nice way to unwind after driving for a few hours!

Review 131：Our Jacuzzi bath was broken (the hotel had known about this for a few days as the spare part had already been ordered) The sliding shutter had been screwed to the rail causing it to block the view from the balcony and the bath (this was a long-term problem which the hotel knew about) The hotel had a similar room available but chose not to move us
