Review 17：With two days parking the bill was €465,20. The visit started badly with the demand for payment upfront. The room was basic. Considering the cost of the room there were no shampoos, lotions, coffee facilities or drinking water. Towels thin and grey colour. The hotel was very rundown, not up to usual Best Western standards.

Review 19：Tiny room. Twin beds with no gap between. Bathroom so small I could hardly dry myself after shower using the small "bath-towel" provided. Seems 1m87 is too tall for this hotel. Yet room still €144 per night (inc breakfast). Breakfast was DIY, including cook your own fried egg and toast, fix own coffee from a machine. At this price in a supposed 4* hotel, would expect some service 2* hotel at 5* price. No response to a request for improvement politely expressed to staff after first night. Sadly on w/e of Zandvoort Race festival, no chance of moving hotel.

Review 23：During check in and out times there was only one receptionist, so for the check in i had to wait 30minutes, for the check out 20minutes. The floor carpet was dirty, i mean many unidentified spots. The window frame was also dirty, and my room was above a roof, and that roof was dirty with cigarettes and bird things. It wasn't a great view.

Review 84：It is stated as a 4 star hotel but is far from it. The facilities are run down, the room was tiny, the door of the shower fell on top of us, the staff in the reception hardly attentive and kind. We were not sure about having breakfast the next day and the staff at the front desk answered us in a rude way that we had to decide soon or maybe it was not possible. As far as I know, even if you don't stay in a hotel you can have breakfast there paying for it. We had a problem with the bending machine and the same girl just came to us and gave us a euro back and went back to smoke. Really bad service and the only nice thing was the bar where the one who served was very kind and helpful.

Secondly - they add all the taxesextra onto you bill so when they quote 79 euros - they mean 96.50including car park & taxes - not the deal I expected.

Review 93：The single room was the smallest room that I have every stayed in. The bathroom was very smelly and very small (very overpowering smell from the drains). The room was far too warm and noisy. I spend on average 70 nights a year sleeping in Hotels across Europe, this has to be one of the worst. It would have been (almost) acceptable if the price was 60% lower, but not for the price that they ask.

Review 99：It is unfortunate, the hotel is in a such a prime location but is in a rather sorry state. The room looks tired and old, and the fittings are basic. The heating was on max, and we couldn't easily switch it off (old-style water pipe heating) so the room was a bit of a furnace.

Review 110：It was bland and unwelcoming. The beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable. I was sold an "executive" room overlooking the sea. It was an old room on the side of the Hotel with a few mod cons overlooking the car park. You could see the sea if stuck your head out of the window and turned it 90 degrees. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. The bar, if it was open, had no atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming just like the dining room. The breakfast was average at best.

While making booking for four rooms each with seperate names which was provided to the hotel, the desk took easy route and made booking in one name causing confusion and discomfort for other guests who thought there was no booking. Breakfast room very cramped with guest tripping over each other trying to serve themself breakfast. Only one staff member in the restaurant who seemed only interested in securing room number for payment.

The elevator doors have to beopened by hand. Stained carpets. Dirty windows. Facade falling apart.Graffiti outside. Hotel leaked. Breakfast room cramped. No fresh coffee,only a coffee machine. The hotel is from the 70s and looks and smellslike it. By far the worst seaside hotel I have ever stayed in. We hadbooked for two nights, but had to leave after one night; ruined ourseaside getaway. I can only recommend it if you want the sea and plan onspending no time inside the hotel. Just terrible all around. Wow.

We enjoyed watching the kite surfers and acycling race that happen to take place while we were there.
